  • how big is that mesh?

  • it like that one he let free calls a sailfish...ATTACKKK XD

  • Or you could just dump all the bait from the cast net directly to the livewell. But your video is still great.

  • IS that an old mako?

  • @pcolalongfellow

It is almost identical in layout to a 25' Mako. Its a 28 Master Marine.

  • @pcolalongfellow what is the name of the net that he puts the fish in when he catches them

  • I like the way you operate, esp the part about releasing what you dont intend to use that day... The RINSE of the cast net is a nice touch as well, The bunker Stank is definitely in the SLIME. and the net would have stank up the boat later on.. nice video... thanks again. i learned something.. gonna make on of those transfer nets for sure.

  • where did you get that transfer pen?

  • That was a video from a pro

  • Also you said in the video you had a sardine cast net. Basically to catch small bait fish that the bigger cast nets cant do. Can you buy those cast nets at a fishing store? I never seen em

  • @donb32000 hey what kind of boat is that and how does it handle out in the water or do you stay in the bays and what not?

  • @studdgage looks like an old mako to me

  • @xSkaterxDorkx The sardine net mesh size is 1/4" (I think I got it from River Marine Supply). I was using a 8' True Spread (by West Coast Nets).

  • great idea, nice video

  • pretty cool

  • where did you get that net from i havent seen none at bass pro that is way better than droppen them on the deck nice catch

  • idk if u noticed but u left one in the net

  • that was cool

  • The transfer net I'm using is made by Stowpen (me). I got the idea for this a couple of years ago....I got tired on menhaden oil on the decks. I couldn't find any products like this in the stores so I started making them.

  • @donb32000 Sweet bro. How much you selling em for? Where you from?

  • @donb32000 Looks like its made out of a pool noodle and some net?

  • where did you get the transfer net

  • What is the name of that transfer net?

  • thats a good video .. respectful fisherman more people should watch this no need to take more than u need or kill fish for nothing

  • Comment removed

  • you should get a bigger livewell it messes up the bait if there overcrowded

  • Perfect!! Thx ALOT im going to NC this summer and im going after some Stripers, Cobia, Reds, and Sharks. Thx very much.

  • Nice video. Where are you cast netting these menhaden? This helped alot, excellent job explaining the transfer pen. I think im going to buy one some time... I'd be thankful if you told me where you are netting these guys and when.(month) Thanks + I subscribed

  • North Carolina sounds off Topsail Beach during the summer. This video was taken in July.

  • Excellent Job

  • dang man you've got an awesome boat

  • wow i cast net all the time, but it takes me 20 cast to catch as many shad as it does 1 cast to catch those sardines!

  • I like the transfer pen you are using, where did you get that from?? Is it home made ???
