Yeah umm this is fucked, my local council has a graffiti program, where the artist can send in their work, and obtain a legal area. So I sent in about 15 drafts which were of murals and pieces out of my black book. I got a reply about 2 days after sending the email, saying that the murals contain writing and look too much like illegal graffiti. So I couldn't obtain a permit. So what do they expect me to do? They want to stamp out illegal graffiti. But they are being dickheads about it.
the amount of money the train services waste in trying to prevent tagging , half of that money could be used to pay people to spray paint artwork on the trains , thus liven up the dull looking trains and bring a bit of revenue for the young artists , much better idea then prevention

I think they should have "legal walls" in the U.S. and I think people should look at graffiti like a sort of art, not a "drunken tag" like most tags are... stuff that looks like handwriting i don't consider graffiti - it's not art; just writing on the wall... A school for graffiti art would be awesome...

there are a shytload of places around cali alone wer itz juz a park of wallz to paint on that u pay a small fee per hour to paint on.
instead of skate park itz like a graff park.
