What an overrated piece of crap. Hardly follows the plot of the movie at all. Fighting Azim when he never encountered him in the movie? Using a sword throughout the game when he didn't even use one in the movie except for at the end against Jafar? But I guess I shouldn't be surprised since it was released by the same hacks who released that abomination Cybercop. This game is in the words of UrinatingTree:The equivalent of eating my own shit! Then puking it out and eating my own shit again.

@HazaGaza13 I too have a Sega Mega Drive (well, Canada so Genesis in my case), but I don't have anything to record from my TV, so I used an emulator. I think if you have a DVR you could do something with it, can't tell for sure since I haven't got one.

@RetroShinigami simple...basically it has some of the best character animations ive seen in a mega drive game, excelent gameplay, great graphics, great soundtrack. I don't find it particularly childish, shinning force isnt exactly very mature either xD (style wize characters look like pinipons in the explore mode)

You may like it or not but it's a quality game.

PS. Shinning force and Golden Axe are great too :P

I never played this, I played the SNES version. It was a good game, but it was short, and the graphics where not nearly as good as this.

I remember first playing this and adoring the art style (by actual Disney animators, who may have made the film as well), the music, the joie de vivre. Advances in technology do not affect what this was then and what this is now- still brilliant and made in only about 3 months.

Many games in 3D can't seem to avoid being as slack as a successful dieters trousers. This game was tight. The Disney games on the Megadrive, especially this, World of Illusion and Quackshot, are brilliant.

Better animation, more frames of animation, better sound, better SFX, better level design, more polish,more original gameplay (especially the levels are awesome); anyone who prefers the SNES versions over this needs their head checked. The SNES version is totally lifeless, the guards, the lack of interaction between Alladin and the player/other characters.
