I was disappointed that on teh 15th I showed up and there was no one left tending the fire, of course I couldnt get out there until 4pm but it surprised me that no one was still out there. hope to have the chance to participate some day

The police chased everyone away at 2:30 when the permit ran up.
I guess you have the right to protest for as long as your permit allows.
