yea every class is better then barb pvp. especially ranger and necro. not even a game. anyone looking to play this game, PVP is imballanced and you cant beat a necro or ranger as a barb under any circumstances. ignore all hate for this comment. this is true. haters to this play necro or demo or ranger. who are untouchable to barb, notice the 61 ranger killign the 80 barb. impossable in any ballanced game.. this game's pvp is wrong. choose necro ranger or demo. or lose.

WELL. necros are op in 1vs1 but sucks in groups, rangers got nerfed rapidly and they are not patched yeat so they suck right now but thats gonna get better in near future.

That jumping is fucking annoying.Each time i see someone jumping like that i can't help but picture them has some 15 years old fat ass.The Hox was horrible.He broke the root with white hit .. Used firestep to soon ...etc etc ... Oh well . Ranger are Op because even tard can play them and be effective... SNipe someone... Leg trap ... Kite .. snipe .. Fear .. kite ... I started playing AoC last week..I am using a ranger w/ X-bow atm..I was wondering what is the best spec ,,X-bow or Bow spec for Pve instances/solo lvln. TY

I used a bow always. Tried xbow and hated it because it was so slow. But many rangers will swear by xbow for leveling because of the aoe capabilities. Can't argue there, single target dps + leveling is a slow process compared to other classes.

k thx for the video i was going to start playing this but seeing the ranger dodge around like hunters do on wow made me awaken and say this game has problems and im not playing it lol because its allready hard enough to get a caster/ranged class close to you when your melee so ya theres some serious issues with this game just like wow

At low levels no argument there. However after 45-50 ish, Ranger op'ness decreases exponentially. You want to talk about op, let's talk about a SW nec or a tos 1-shotting.

Of course it's skill. Look at the movement, the weapon switching, and the way the traps are laid, and the way he avoids the HoX desecrating essence stun.

Oldest ranger technique I see mostly is, leg it like a sprinter on steroids if they ain't winning with a trap and a snare and a melee gets in their face.

Agreed HoX sucks, but the ranger shows some excellent skills. He also owned a couple of 75+ barbs, and was a whisker from beating an 80 ranger too. So it wasn't luck.

Agreed that he moves well but if you wanted to put up a vid to show his skills then this was a poor choice. Terribad opponents makes it hard to take seriously.

Perhaps yes. Shame I didn't fraps the previous fights with the barbs and ranger. Piercing shot from a Xbow specced 80 ranger that landed was the only thing that saved him or he was going down. I've fought many rangers, and really , if their traps and snares don't do it, mostly they are all out of ideas, and they run like pansies. No thought of switching to sword/shield, and hanging on for CD's.

heh, back when i played the game all of these would have been considered "insanely long fights". Honest to god, most fights i was in didnt last more then 10secs (yes im a ranger. We are squishy, but we do have some bad burst dps) This is, providing, that neither class has a heal
