  • Nice Dumkit :D

  • @bastianramos1 Thanks!

  • @barokee1 What type of bass pad is it youre using? And how loud is it unplugged?

  • @Nuhuhuhuhu It's a KD-85. It's not loud at all. I usually play early at 5am. It doesn't bother anyone. :)

  • Thats great thanks for the advice. Is an audio in the same as a mic socket. I have a Canon 5D and tried your set up as you suggested but into the mic socket of the 5D and it does not work. What camera are you using!

  • @gadge1275 It should be the same. I use a Nikon D7000. Try to simplify first by putting an iphone/ipod to the camera's mic jack. Play ipod and start recording on the camera. It should record the music on playback.

  • @gadge1275 you should just record your audio separately from your video. I use the 60d, and the reason for our mic inputs(even with stereo control) is for a rhode mic or something. When shooting a music video with DSLR, record your audio into a music program such as garageband, logic, protools, etc. Then match it up with your video on iMovie, final cut, premiere/ etc.

  • Hi Great vid. I am looking for advice. I have the TD 20 and want to put a few vids up of the V drums expansion packs. Only thing is have not got a clue what I need to do what your doing. What do I need by way of video recorder and sound modules and leads. Ta Glenn

  • @gadge1275 Start with a videocam with an audio input jack. The TD20 has an output jack for the headphone. Instead of a headphone, plug in an audio cable that goes to ur camera. Connect ur headphone to the main output jacks. To have separate volume controls for listening & recording, you'll need an amp. You'll need cable adaptors for all this to work. Check out Guitar Center or Sam Ash, they can help you out with the adaptors. It's really easy. Hope to see your videos soon. Good luck!

  • NICE!!!! Put some Superior Drummer 2.3 and it'll be more fucking awesome.

  • @ransisua That sounds like a good idea!

  • Hi again, thanks for the info. Persevered on their website after you assured me they do have audio demos. Found them and having a good listen before I decide what to go for in the near future. Thankyou for your time and help. All the best Paul

  • Hi, really great stuff. I have a TD-12 I'm visually impaired so don't know what you mean with the splitter thing. Is it to get more sounds of one pad or something like that. Also, do they have audio demos of those v expressions kits. I've seen them for sale on the net but can't find any audio examples from the actual company. I'd have had no idea how good they are without vidios like yours. Send them a bill for your time LOL.

  • @AnjelicasBaby It's just a Y-cable. It's a way of having 2 pads play the same sound. Say you have 2 cymbals of the same size, 1 for your left hand and 1 for your right. Due to the limited inputs on the brain, you can use a splitter (male to 2 female) instead of hogging up another input. As for VExpressions, they have a lot of samples on their website.

  • Great job, man

  • @ubersticks Thanks!

  • nice cover!

  • @killercreek450 Thanks!

  • Great cover! It's not perfect though, but I loved it. Good video and audio quality as well. Keep it up!

  • @Extuder Thanks. I did mess up on some areas. It's a very exhausting song to play.

  • Death ANgel T-shirt? Man, I liked you before you even hit a skin. Nice. Like your kit. I have a td9, so ive expanded it with splittrs etc, but your kit is exactly what id love to own... room for expansion. I might have to invest in some larger tompads...the standard ones are too small to really feel like your on a real kit.

Excellent playing too by the way

  • @HeisW140 Yeah, Death Angel! My kit actually started out as a td12. I then added larger toms and a td20x brain. I kept the td12 brain for more expansion. I haven't thought of that, but your splitter idea is actually good.

  • @barokee1 The spiltters have good and bad points - multi brained expansion is really the best way to go. The splitters can cause pads to cancel each other out if struck at the same time etc.... the multi bran setup is far superior... and also more costly unfortunately.

  • Amazing drum cover. Its spot on :) good job! your electronic set is huge by the way :p

  • @JoshsDrumChannel Thanks!
