@TweeTwee56 you cant, these videos rarely work, if ur game is not reading the disc, any disc at all, u need a new blu-ray in your ps3. i've been trying shit on youtube for like 1 1/2 years, it doesnt work.

turning the ps3 on by the switch at the back wont make no difference to wether the disc reads or not. it is 1 of 3 possible faults. 1 currupt files on the hard drive wich can be fixed easily and checked easily see my video. 2 dirt on the laser wich can be cleaned for nothing again see my video on how and for proof. 3 a brocken laser in wich case you need to replace.

@creamybunny2412 what exactually happen to you ps3 did it blackout or didn;t load the disk. Cause sometimes it will also blackout, but if it won;t load the disk then turn it on, and there are 2ways to fix it. one is to switch off the main power buttion in the back when the ps3 is on and then turn it back on, or 2 just go to system settings and select restore DEFAULT settings not restore ps3

oh okay I see then you need to see my how to fix ps3 disk load problem video cause the fastest and easiest way to fix your problem is shown in the video just turn the back switch off and then turn it on and then the turn on the front and then put disk in and try it now. if not work try again until it works

In the video I forgot to mention the fact that Sony made some design errors when they incorperate Bluray into there system and that there is a piece in the drive that can become lose if the system heats up for too long say you play for more then two hours. There are videos that will show you how to open and fix these parts and pieces. I will post a video that shows you how to turn off your ps3 and back on to the right state so that it can load the disk again

well i leave my horizontal and it looks like it as dust in it and i play for hours at a time and leave it running alot it started doing this its out of a box 80gb what do you think i should do?

flip the system over and shake it lightly to have some dust fall out and then buy a large turning fan and turn it on when you are playing and have it behind the Ps3 so it can blow air through the back vents and leave your ps3 out in the open not in cramp spaces or cabinets

I just got mine yesterday and only played it for 1 hour and a half and my PS3 wont load any games but works with everything else. I'm very upset cause I dont know what to do other than send this new system in so I cant play it after I just brought it....

here is a very improtant question for you, is the system new in box or did you get it off ebay cause mine was off ebay. Furthermore don't send it in already just leave the system on and then turn it off and then on again until it loads the disk. If in six times it doesn't then turn it off for a minute cause it could be updates that are making the disk driver crazy.

thanx for the reply. I did that and formated the system yesterday and nothing changed so I returned it to the store and got a replacement and that one works great! Thanx for the advice though.

you need to make sure that the vents are covered when you aren't playing
