You really need to see an instructor for correction. I practiced tai chi from DVD for a couple of years but it wasn't until I had a private lesson with a top wtba instructor this made all the difference. And I appreciate your kind comment about Erle montaigue who passed away his teachings have helped thousands of people worldwide.
leave him alone he just progressed too quickly the only correction and i want to see you work on is keeping the hands in your center the whole will fall into place on you have done that and remember its taiji do it slower its easy to do ten push ups fast but do one really slow push up thats where you get power
slow it down man. i can appreciate you learning but that's all over the place. centre yourself and remember to engage the pelvis and dont use muscles to throw your arms about. it all comes from centre and how the body moves. have fun practising mate
The biggest mistake you have made is, you have gone trough the whole form at once. Also you should learn a slow form (e.g. Yang Cheng Fu's form) before going into this one. Be patient and pay a BIG ATTENTION to every single word in the video and try to understand the meaning.
Master's Erle videos are really one of the best I have seen, and cover the form in great details, however you should go through the instructions over and over again until you learn the very basics of the form.
Are you learning from videos ... this is quite hard, as I have done the same for few years now I can strongly advice you going step by step and check your moves one by one from several different angles, either by recording your self or by using mirrors.
Here are few comments on your form:
- The opening is definitely not from master's Erle form
- You are just throwing your hands around, no movements come from your center
- No Yin/Yang
Take your time, progress trough form step by step.

You need to pay Erle or Eli a visit for some corrections.

Ok per i video però non è così semplice imparare da lì....Dovresti seguire anche una scuola con un istruttore qualificato...

Wow. You actually practice in a kitchen. I'm sure there's way more room outside? No?
