  • SLYTHERIN YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!

  • haha! funny! I'd be in hufflepuff.

  • 0:10 Wow. That was an incredibly accurate impression of me. Lol.

Good point about Slytherin. I've wondered about that as well. I also wonder why Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff decided to create a school with old Salazar once he had made it clear who he wanted in the school. I mean, it doesn't exactly seem like he was a super nice guy, so why would they just let his prejudice slide?

  • Really awesome vid :) And great summing up of Harry Potter houses!

Its true . . . the original ShinyHappyVloggyPPL seem to disappear fairly frequently . . . oh well. I'm loving all these guest spots, seeing a lot of new youtube talent :)

  • Hey Meredith! Thanks for covering! I can understand why you have that question. It's rather hectic this time of year for a lot of us... as of next week I will have the time free, until I'm at work full time! :(

  • Hey there, not all Slytherins are evil! What about Theodore Nott or Daphne Greengrass? They were in Slytherin and we never hear that they're evil. And Peter Pettigrew was in Gryffindor, so the evil was a little dispersed -considers self a Slytherin-

  • Sorry, Karen. I didn't mean any offense. I was just trying to sum up off the top of my head... and that's why I was trying to think of a different word than evil- hence ambition, but what is the defining characteristic of a slytherin? It was more general than a rule.

  • Oh, Merry . . . you make me giggle. =D

Good point about Slytherins. See, that's what happens when you leave an important task like that to an old piece of headwear.

    Thanks for subbing!

  • Loving these guests on SHVP! Thanks for the vid, Meredith!

I don't think ambition is Slytherin's defining characteristic, because Gryffindors are very much the same. They also strive to do great things. Cunning is definitely important, though, and I also would say that acquiring power or authority is an important goal of Slytherins. : )

  • Hi Meredith! nice guest post on SHVP!

loved the summing up of the houses and I agree about Slytherins, though that never crossed my mind. Good point.

  • GO Slytherin! Wooo!
