3 people don't like this film, going to guess there the ones teling you to contact the cops and have them check out the area, might not be a bad idea though man, just to check out the area for bones ect.
What made you search that area? Did you do some research and find it use to be a park or something? Aren't there some birds, like crows that like to steal shinny objects, or some type of critters that do that also? I was wondering if it was in a hole in the tree at some time? Nice mystery.
not a murder scene but i reckon its a thief stash , they steal it bury it for an ammount of time and go to reclaim it after the initial robbery suspicion has died down
looks like this thief may have lost the location of the stash
i wonder what happened?? Did some kid decide he was going to play pirate and bury a bunch of stuff he took from his parents?? Also did you make any money off of your finds??
Nice finds. Concerning the keys, they look like vault/strong box keys. The fact they are numbered supports that. My feeling is that whoever buried this all likely had another stash (even bigger one)someplace else as well (thus the keys). Id be looking around there inch by inch.
Makes me "almost wonder" if this is real, maybe this is just to promote metal detectors sales? I'm just getting started, I just wish digging was easier here in Arizona, the ground here is so hard to dig, count your blessings if you live where it is muddy. The few cold wet months we have here are the best for digging.
@yrusonoitall Trust me it's real, and I wouldn't give up your day job because you will have many, many days of finding nothing bug junk, but every once and a while you'll find something special that will keep you going through all the junk in the future :)
should go back there with a gold panning classifier and sift through all that dirt around there and see if ya can find the stone for the other earing its gotta be there somwhere :-) nice find hope I am as fortunate someday :-) GL out there
What great finds, but , like others, I would suspect this cache is a stash of stolen loot...The tree must have had some unique features which would make it easy to find, the thief was no doubt a local...who knows why he never returned....just my theory....the jewelry looks like the good stuff...nice finds...
IM New at this. found 1 clad rosie dime so far. but watching you guys in all these videos is making me wanna stop driving truck and just go detecting. ha ha . 1 dime in 2 weeks wont pay my bills though.
I noticed one peice was missing a stone, The other peice had a stone that matched. I would take a 5 gallon bucket of water and a screen out there and find the missing stone, I am guessing it is still next to that stump.
I AM=GOD Cool cache you found----someone maybe stole the stuff and got scared they'd get caught with the loot so they ditched it or stashed it------just a guess???
I think I might know what this is. My Great Grandmother said that during the War if someones husband Was killed the Wife would take a bury the items that she had from him as a final gift and this would release her to marry a new person. This was an old tradition that is not uses now days. I do not know if this is what you found but it sure seems like this is what it might be. And the Dates of the coins at the time of WWII puts it in that time frame.
But thank you so much for taking me on your hunt. I'm thinking about buying a metal detector for myself. I live here in avon park florida and years and years ago it was occupied by the spanish or at least americian indians. Getting permission to go on some of these farms and scanning plowed land could have some great benifits. I looking forward to looking at some of your video and future videos. Thanks for everything.
I was hoping that you could open the pocket watch and show the time face, crystal and hands. The craftsmanship that when into making these timeless pieces are beautiful and should be appreciated. If you were to go to get the watch appriased, I'm sure that he would not send you on your way without at the very least opening it.
I just received my F75 LTD today and was browsing Y.T. for information on it and stumbled on your video. I have been detecting for over 5 years and never hit that much jewelry in one outing. Unreal and Great Video!
A huge congrats!.....That's what it's all about. Must have been a great feeling. Thanks for sharing a great hunt.........You never know what you'll dig up next............
Thanks. I found quite a bit about Leonore Doskow on the net, and even found that the "I AM" (I AMers) was some kind of religious cult movement in the 1930's, so the pin isn't a hippie relic after all...but it's still strange.
As Brian will confirm, I never say this, however on this day I told Brian several times "I have a good feeling we are going to find something awesome today". I was right!

did the keys come from there too?
johnnyryer 1 year ago
@beau That is exactly what I was thinking. Where's the bodies? Or these are possibly stolen goods.
OrthoFrog 1 year ago
I'm betting it's from a "get rid of your worldly possessions" type of ceremony done by the I AMers.
