@newtzdogg i agree with you this is probably the best live version of ONE i have ever heard. While 360tour is great, i think ZooTV raised the bar so high noone can really top it, perhaps even u2.  The bonus of the current and future tours is the technology blows away their previous bests, plus there will be newer material. But Zoo-TV may have been the "sweet spot". 1992-93 was just a magical time in their lives and ours as well.

@vettehottie - Yes, Bono/U2 are at the peak of his powers here. The Elevation tour was awesome too. I almost wasn't going to go to their Auckland 360 NZ show because I felt Bono's vocals had deteriorated so much over the years due to years of touring/age etc that I'd be disappointed, but I wasn't. After seeing U2 in their prime so many times, nothing else compares. One Tree Hill was the highlight the Auckland show and Bono & Edge sounded great.

maybe deeper into 90's. my first concert was PopMart Vienna. at the time it wasnt much, but as the time went by, Pop is actually pretty good. And ATYCLB from 2000 is also pretty damn good. HTDAAB didnt liked then, dont like it now, but the newest one is also very good. Lots of people regard Pop as the worst album of u2, but I think 90% of the bands would be very happy if they made it. it would probably be their best album.

5:39 WOW what an amazing shot! Which brings me to my point. I wish we could have had a Zootv concert flmed like the Red Rocks concert. I just love the way the camera is right there in the action as if the camera is an actual fan in the audience. I remember watching the commentary on the Red Rocks dvd and even director mentions something about it. I know since its a stadium it would be more difficult but MAN I seriously would love something like that :o)

I'm American, but back in 1993 I lived in Australia and watched this live on TV. This is my favorite version of "One". I wanted it on cassette so badly back in 1996 that I managed to record it from their video onto a cassette, even though I'm not that technically savvy! What came out on cassette was actually best. The bass line was more pronounced and it sounded much more raw.

I'm so (I can easily say depressed) 'bout not being able to visit one of Vertigo shows live. But, from what I've seen, it feels like it was inferior to the ones before. I've seen Chicago, San Diego, Milano, Sao Paolo, Buenos Aires and some fragments of other Vertigo tour shows. It seems to me that the best atmosphere was in South America. Maybe cause of S.American mentality, I don't know.

Just hope 360* will beat Vertigo! I expect much, I have to say. Can't wait, that's for sure!
