I downloaded three/four different Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories ROMs/Mods and every time I tried extracting the files, my computer would make a "DING!" noise. I assume the files couldn't be extracted. What do i do?

@Fonzy0619 hate to tell you but that ding sound can also mean its extracted successfully and will work :) hope you still have them tho

@TheZernia go to google and type "d3dx9_26.dll" click the top link which should be dll-files, scroll down until you see download d3dx9_26.dll fixer and download zip file click the zip file, once its downloaded extract it and place it in the main directory with the exe file :)

"This emulator requires a BIOS image which must be installed in the BIOS folder."

Then I click 'OK' and it opens one of those file browsing things.

@TheZernia easy fix :) got to the description and download the bios files, and then extract them all into the bios folder which is located in your main directory near the exe file, then start it up :)

But, one more problem. I'm trying to get this game LSD: Dream Emulator to play on this, but it just started up, I got the PS1 startup screen then this screen telling me to choose from memory card or CD player.

I downloaded a ROM of that game, because I couldn't find it on the sites in the description.

@TheZernia ahh good game :P try, turning off the emulator, when you go to click the exe, right click and then click run as administrator, then try the file you did, if it doesn't work try another file which is in with it, if not you may have one from another country so try downloading another from somewhere else :)

@TheZernia hey sorry i didn't reply had to go college :) and the main file in which you start it up with, thats called (or usually) the exe file :) yes start the emulator and try both of the bin and cue files and see if it works :) and i did a longgggggggggg time ago lol

@TheZernia thats a shame :/ yes just try different download sites until you get it right, or if you see one which has a country such as NTSC or PAL try switching round the chosen bios to see if you can set it :)

@theslayer29179 Since it's such an unknown game, most sites have this weird form of downloading the game in multiple files. Usually .bin, .cue and .rar files. :/

@AaR07n i am confused to what you mean? do you mean it wants to open in VLC as in the media player? if so just open try opening all the files with the emulator, the files you should have is some of the following (not all) .bin, .cue, .ccd, .img. however if it is a vlc file like you said such as game.vlc then i think you have downloaded the wrong file, i have never heard of that file.

Ok,now how to i use memory card?

@P0rtalFTW in your main folder you will see a folder called saves, all the game saves will be saved in there, so you can just copy / delete them out of there so you can re-save, but to save / load start your game or when your ready to save, there is a button at the top of the screen called quick-save, click the first quick-save button to save, then next time you want to save another game choose 2, to load choose the corresponding quick-load, save as quick 1, load quick 1 :) sorry for long text

@grannyslave no i don't but multi-disk games are the exact same as this, in some cases like games which have a following story on disk 1, once you complete disk one just put in disk 2 and it should work the same :) however on games such as Gran Turismo where you have 2 disks, Arcade disk and another one (i think its freeplay) you can choose either one you want to play :)

@RedSpectre3000 how do you mean interrupted? do you mean it cancles or it stops downloading? try using another browser such as chrome or firefox, failing that try JDownloader :)

what if when I'm starting up an NTSC-U of Silent Hill, and I'm on Windows XP, the program tells me that the "CD is not suitable, failed to open file"

@Jradgex 1: if you are not in Japan or US then you cannot use that version of Silent hill,

2: are you using the actual disk or downloaded?

3: if you are using the disk try using some burning software to copy the disk to your computer then try again

4: if its downloaded make sure its a file type of "Bin" or "Cue" or "IMG" if not re-download

5: if it is one of those file types try re-downloading it may be a corrupt file
