He went to jail because he was considered obscene but he's very tame by today's standards. On the black side Dick Gregory was the first black comedian that didnt have to have a partner and was able to address white audiences directly and was the first to wear tailored suits rather than dress in oversized or too little attire, and to this day is extremely hilarious and insightful.

@BigInfinite Lenny Bruce set the foundation of the style of comedy we see today, look him up he's funny as hell too. He went to jail because he was considered obscene but he's very tame by today's standards. On the black side Dick Gregory was the first black comedian that didnt have to have a partner and was able to address white audiences directly and was the first to wear tailored suits rather than dress in oversized or too little attire, and to this day is extremely hilarious and insightful.

This is a lot of bullshit, and Steve knows it. In the weeks leading up to the event, Katt made it absolutely clear that he was going to ROAST Harvey onstage. If Steve had been paying attention at all, he would have known what to expect. If Steve Harvey had the same career that used to have, it wouldve been no problem, but nowadays Steve is like Cosby, he's Mr. Clean, so he basically brought a knife to a gunfight and (suprise!!) LOST. I like Steve Harvey, but he should never have done it.

everybody has a different sense of what is funny and whats not. some like katt some like steve. It pretty much comes down to if you "get it" factor. Do you understand what why that joke is funny if you do then that makes it funny to you. so if you don't get jokes about politics and general day to day funny happenings., then you might not like steve like other ppl. And vice versa for Katt as well.
