I know, I'd do the same thing if i were him, he is bein a professional driver all his life, travelled the owrld in its whole and now it's time to spend time with the family, I wonder when he does that though, since he was in vegas then went to brazil to race then back to europe...I'd like to meet him one day, ciao a tutti

Ya MS is my favorite driver. But ya im sure he still spends alot of time with family, a few driving events doesnt mean hes not there. Im sure his private jet gets him home in time for dinner :)

i know that for sure, I travelled a lot during my life and at times even if u travel with your own jet your body feels the fatigue of bein up in the air, he must have travelled the same distance from here to Saturn if u consider all his trips in his career.Great guy though, i dont know him personally but he seems reserved and very meticolous, just the way i'd be.Ciao

i find it funny that people criticize MS in karting. he is what he is. the best that ever was in F1, but he retired, and went back to his roots for fun...as i doubt he's there for the coin or prestige. maybe after over a decade of premier motorsport and countless millions banked, he wants to base in one place , spend time with with his wife n children and not travel the globe for 8 months. had he retuned to f1 after massa's accident...he could drive an old taxi in dead last place, id be happy.

well there is nothing wrong with criticizing, even if u win 7 titles that doesnt mean that u will keep those standards for a lifetime...he looks back cos he needs to know where other drivers are, not cos he felt pressured, in karting uneed to have control of everything if u can, if u get passed and u lose focus for 15secs u might lose the race cos everybody would pass u.These races r short so u have to give in all u have

So true, but in all fairness tho in F1 there are rear view mirrors and no one knows if your lookin back. Im sure evreyone looks back....if not your either gonna get passed or get wheels knocked off

when does buemi clip a wall? the lap before schumacher made the pass stick buemi hobbled around with a broken right rear wheel into the pitlane.

I was in the left hander where Shumacher made the re-pass on Ron White (2:03) White threw it in at the beginning of the right hander behind the grandstands and Shumacher held his ground and rubbed into into Ron. IT WAS AWESOME The crowd went ballistic in that area

at 2:21 shumacher looks back. that is not something that you do. you race what is in front of you and if they pass you just keep racing what is in front of you and pass them back.

shumacher doesnt need to worry about whats behind him though so why does he look back
