Absolutely loved this song when I was 12! far too young to see them in concert. Fortunately, I did see them live...a few months before Dave Dee died. I did tell him how much I loved his music, and told him (nervously) that I had him all over my bedroom wall! how the other guys laughed and said "it must have been a bloody big wall"....seriously though I was so pleased to see them and they all played great live and brought back so many happy memories. Thanks, guys..
This is sad news indeed. I see he was battling cancer 3 years so he would not have been totally fit in this interview. As I said 2 months ago, I agree with Dave Dee's appraisal of the Soho song .. it is wonderful.
I had the privilege of seeing D,D,D B, M, T in the 60's and over the last few years I have personally know Dave he will be sadley missed by all who knew his what a nice man.
Funny thing but I agree with Dave Dee's appraisal of his song! "Last Night in Soho" was my hot favourite too. Great atmosphere, lyrics melody. And he sings it beautifully. Thanks Dave. Saw you live in Hamilton New Zealand years ago with Tremeloes - wonderful!
Wonderful song by Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich. Great to see Dave Dee speaking at start of video. I've always been a great fan of their songs. We need this music back in the charts.

I remember exactly where I was when this was a hit. Last night in Brentwood doesn't have the same ring about it. RIP Dave Dee. One of the best.
