  • Beautiful woman, great singer. We need more like her to keep traditional country alive. Thanks you Patty for your great

    music.

  • ...I know the hurt and pain...sometimes its better to be lonely !

  • Patty I think is one of the most beautiful and talented woman I have ever seen absolutely gorgeous

  • Man Patty is incredible!!!! Been in love with this woman' s voice ever since I can remember! and a big thanks to ALL of those people who made it possible for all of us who feel the same as I do to hear her sing. Absolutely beautiful! nothing or nobody else like her. And as time goes on, she just gets better , and I'll be forever grateful to have had the experience of hearing her. Hope I get to see, and meet her before I die!

  • oh gawwd, it's so good to hear real country in a world of 'country'. The crap they peddle on the radio and emteevee is strangling a wonderful genre.

  • Patty is one of the greatest country singers, I can listen to her all down. I especially love the ballads she sings. This song is great and beautiful..

  • she is the best for those kind of songs ,even if I'm a francofone, from canada

  • I will purchase this song, Patty is just fantastic, beautiful song.

  • Great song again, Patty is also very beautiful.

  • Beautiful song:-)

  • She's done it again! Patty always succeeds in pleasing the fans that love the traditional sound of country. Just wonderful!

  • this should be a model for new country artists--this is what sets country music apart, not the song but the way it is sung!

  • Beautiful changes in this song.

  • These new recordings should win every Grammy ,ACM and all other awards for country music out there!

  • Forgive me...but why is this called Patty Loveless discusses "Sleepless Nights"?...It really doesnt matter..its such a joy to hear her sing...I fell in love with her back in the early 90,s and this new album makes me very happy...to me she has the ultimate Lonesome voice...Long live the beautiful Ms. Loveless

  • I also expected a discuss about "sleepless nights"but loved to see it anyway.

  • yeah, I wondered that too. I love hearing her speak, but this is better.

  • Congradulations Patty! Your remarkable voice with thee elite Nashville musicians has made my day!!! Thank you

  • Patty Loveless has stood up for tradition and musical integrity time and time again. Sleepless Nights is simply the next inspired chapter in that heroic story. Patty has more than earned the right to pursue this labor of love, and by so doing has created another masterpiece.

As for singles, Why Baby Why and Crazy Arms are far better than anything on the charts today, IMO.

Thank you Patty for following your heart and respecting your audience. We love you!

  • Could not agree more Steve.

We had the pleasure of seeing Patty two nights ago in Alex, Va, and she is just as good........no, better.......than the first time I saw her some 20 years ago, when she was then "The Honky-Tonk Woman".

This particular song literally put a chill through my body. So beautiful.

  • love it. The male vocal sounds like Vince Gill. very pretty song and voice. love patty:D

  • yep, it is vince! very nice!

  • What a great vocal on this classic Felice and Boudeleaux Bryant song. Patty Loveless could sing the phone book.

  • Hey steviedeedee, I completely disagree with your take on this, but I agree it's certainly not a happy song! It's torchy, soulful and bluesy..maybe not your cup of tea. But don't give up on the album just yet, if indeed you are a true Patty fan. Have you heard her rendition of WHY BABY WHY? It'll knock yer socks off...and I'm sure there will be other more uptempo, if not upbeat tunes on her new album as well.

But these torch songs do have depth. They really do grow on you!

  • I think Patty has stretched it all over, but somehow has kept the integrity of the music intact. What is left? Make a rock record? Try to sound like Taylor Swift or Jewell. That would be doing what most other lame-ass "country" "artist" is doing these days. God bless her for keeping the faith. Stevie, keep listening to the radio. You will find what you need there.

  • Stevie, what's with the personal attack. You forgot accuse me of having Cheeto-stained fingers. Some friend.

  • No one is better than Patty Loveless. She is a beautiful person in every way! I am impatiently waiting for this new record!

    I love you Patty!!!
