i attend the eye hospital, which is behind where the video was taken. A nurse told me the best view was from the ladies toilet on the third floor. Needless to say I didnt gain admittance to it
As jonny7railways says, the initial shots scared the xxxx out of me - and I had the volume on at around 3 out of 10!!! Soot and egg sandwiches - nouvelle cuisine for rail buffs...
Man oh man what a great little video..fair scared the s**** out of me at the beginning because I had the volume on my PC too high..he he thanks for posting this video
Gods Wonderful Railway strikes again. Brings back memories, I used to spot at Plymouth. Pity the hospital to the left of the train and behind the video taker.
Have a look at South African Steam - Nigel Gresley commented on the 19D Class saying that it was one of the finest steam designs he had ever seen - and that is saying something coming from Nigel Gresley!
My friend, not probably, this railway was created by God it is that great!(forgive me for being blaphmous for all you religious folks out there. This was perhaps the best railtour that ran into the West Country with Kinlet Hall and Nunney Castle, it looks fantabulous
That is a real beast! I live about half a mile further down the track in Lipson - and the end of the garden is closer than that - you get showered by water when they go past.
well done :) its great

Thats the first Ive heard it referred to as that.
Great Western Railway is the proper name.
God's Wonderful Railway was just a fun name adopted by GWR fans.

I feel sorry for the people who live right by the track. This train just dumped ton of soot on their apartment.

Yeah, but it smells nice though... 'specially when eating egg sandwiches at the same time. Try it!

Got to feel sorry for the guy on the bridge, he probably got a face full of hot sinders.

Yeah - the Merchant Navy's, the Westcountry's and the BofB's didn't need re-building and the Leader led from the front!
