  • Good show Cenk - couldn't be better said

  • Regulated Capitialism is beautiful. When government checks big buisness and stops monopolys and conglomerates when they occur then small buisness can flourish and competition can over. Unregulated capitalism = Today. At this point to be honest. I say let this motherfucker burn. No more bailouts, This system is fundamentally flawed and we've been trying to put a metaphorical band aid on a system with 20 bullet wounds. This system is on life support lets give it a mercy killing.

  • AIG

    Always Inconsiderate Greed

  • 20 is actually 16% of 120 and would be 10% of 198. I know I might be nit picking but, just trying to further emphasize how big a bunch of scumbags they really are.

Why are they(a handful of corporate scumfucks) in the red to us (millions of people), and they get 90%, while we only get 10?

  • get it straight

Air America was shut down because it was polluting the air waves with stupid liberal dogma

as for bonuses, they are really commissions and the company is legally obligated to pay

America has the best legal system in the whole World. If these "bonuses" were some sort of scam, our system would stop them dead in their tracks

we must trust our system! just ask any lawyer! just ask Cenk

  • liberal dogma?Lol

These guys make way to much money to begin with and after being saved by taxpayer money they keep this type of greed up? They should be making half of what they did.

You genie0390 are comfortable being fucked in the ass by these companies but a lot of people aren't.

  • it's not really up to you to decide how much executives earn. Shareholders and business owners decide those issues

you don't like executives making big bucks, most of whom have degrees, super talent, work long hrs and take on heavy responsibilities, BUT you don't mind a prick like Tiger Woods worth a billion??

how about movie actors, singers, football players, baseball players etc making hundreds of millions playing kid games?

America is so fucked up, we deserve the shit we get

  • "it's not really up to you to decide how much executives earn."

It is when their job is saved by taxpayer money you moron. What the fuck are you on crack?

"you don't like executives making big bucks, most of whom have degrees, super talent, work long hrs and take on heavy responsibilities"

All of whom let their companies fail enough they had to be bailed out you stupid ignorant fuck.

  • "It is when their job is saved by taxpayer money you moron. What the fuck are you on crack?"

first, the Gov't had a great deal to do causing the housing bubble which led to the meltdown. Every politician liked the idea of poor people in big homes, borrowing on equities and SPENDING, understand that dummie?

second, most banks for eg didn't want TARP monies

    bailouts shouldn't have taken place

according to your fuckass logic, you save a drowning woman, you have the right to fuck her??

  • "according to your fuckass logic, you save a drowning woman, you have the right to fuck her?? "

Where the fuck did you get that logic? You MUST be on crack or drunk or you are just plain fucking stupid. Keep making yourself look like a moron if you want.

  • ""according to your fuckass logic, you save a drowning woman, you have the right to fuck her?? "

Where the fuck did you get that logic? You MUST be on crack or drunk or you are just plain fucking stupid.

YOU ARE THE ONE MAKING THE POINT THAT IF THE GOV"T SAVED THEIR JOBS, THEY CAN NOW DICTATE TO THEM

i make the point that saving someone does not give you the right to run rough shod over them

banks often save businesses. does that give them rights to run the lives of employees?

  • @genie0390 The point is that they want the government to stay out of their business and trust them to regulate themselves but then proceed to destroy our economy and cause massive unemployment which affects the lives of man many people. then the government bails them out for completely failing at their job. normally when people screw up that bad on a job they get fired. They make tons of money as it is what are the bonuses for??? A job well done?

  • "banks often save businesses. does that give them rights to run the lives of employees?"

It's not taxpayer money. Even after we bailed them out they were very slow to hand out credit to small business which is exactly what we needed to get the economy back on track again.

So they fuck up, we bail them out they won't even open up credit and start paying themselves bonuses again and you think it's ok? Wow you are one stupid blind sheep.

  • ""banks often save businesses. does that give them rights to run the lives of employees?"

    It's not taxpayer money."

for your info deadbeat, the Gov't didn't use taxpayer funds! The TARP funds were borrowed funds, mostly from China and the rest was monetized funds

further, the funds were NOT a gift but rather loans paid back with interest or dividends

according to your asshole logic you apply to banks, China and the ME should be able to dictate our foreign, military and domestic policy

  • good one genie!!

this last reply should shut the ignorant little prick up for good

    Ha!!

    I win

  • I guess all this hooah over deficit spending was for nothing because the money will fall out of the sky to pay it back! Gee Genie you are so clever thanks for informing everyone they won't ever carry any burden for the nations deficit which is partially there because we had to bailout FAILING BANKS who made this recovery take longer because they didn't OPEN CREDIT when they were given money.

Sarcasm off. See what a dumb cunt you are Genie? Stupid ignorant troll bitch.

  • get this straight, deadbeat!!

the banks have already paid the bailout monies back plus interest, so how are they contributing to the national debt?

in any event the tax burden is on productive members of society, including corporations, not on sponges like you

BTW, if you think it's possible for America to pay back its national debt of 12+ trillion and climbing rapidly you're crazy and ignorant

it ain't going to happen by bringing in millions of immigrants and building houses for them

  • You really think I give a fuck what you have to say? You can't debate a moron, you are useless.

  • I'm already convinced you're a troll at this point. Useless cunt troll.

  • "for your info deadbeat, the Gov't didn't use taxpayer funds! The TARP funds were borrowed funds, mostly from China and the rest was monetized funds"

And who do you think ends up paying for that you idiot? Wow you really are that ignorant.

"further, the funds were NOT a gift but rather loans paid back with interest or dividends"

Yea and the government just shits those loans out when it's time to pay them back. You are SOO fucking stupid it's a joke.

  • "And who do you think ends up paying for that you idiot?"

easy, you fucktard, it will be corporations, 3-5% of top money earners, rich people through estate taxes, capital gains etc.,...and

those making the big bonuses! Not guys like you

"Yea and the government just shits those loans out when it's time to pay them back."

just what is it you're trying to say. easy to see endlish composition is not your strong point

BTW, respond to China controlling our policies, my last comment OKIE??

  • Cenk for president!

  • The incumbents should suffer for this mess not because they belong to a certain political party but because they are in a seat, they're the incumbents and responsible for folding like empty milk cartons. The sad thing is that for this coming midterm election 90% of current incumbents will keep their seats. so much for "change"

  • the american fed & its banks are the biggest danger to freedom in the world

  • It was brilliant to bail out banks wasnt it. Stupid. The bonuses were contractual. They would have won in court. Nothing they could do. Theses bailouts were a joke. Bush-Obama suck

  • next time they fuck up, dont give them none of my money. sorry bastards.

  • Where I'm from, suprisingly the government DIDN'T bail out the banks and regulated the fuck out of banks

The banks here do rely on the success of US banks as that is where A lot of the loans come from so don't fuck shit up

  • America needs a reboot... minus the greed virus.

  • Why is it that we need to pay these guys to keep them in their jobs when everyone else is losing their's?

  • 20 is not 20% of 120.

  • Young Turks hate Conservatives more than they love America. How sad they are such idiot kool aidd rinking loons, like those of you that agree with them.

  • How can you defend these bonuses? Care to explain?

  • Greedy ass banks.

  • yes yes yes dirty busniess aig bad goverment collusion bonuses old news old fucking news someone do something somewhere

  • I'd like 2 work 4 a company that gives u a bonus 4 failing hard.

  • im tired of that damn football fairy crap

  • ronald reagan can fire every air traffic controller in the USA, but we cant get rid of these guys?

  • Comment removed

  • thank you

  • how can they pay a bonus under bankruptcy? the respective state taxing authorities can come after them. if they went bankrupt that means they are have to pay taxes from the bankruptcy sale of their assets. if they have any money in the coffers it has to go satisfying the monies owed first. there is no legal room for a bonus. HOW CAN THESE BONUSES POSSIBLY BE UNLESS IT IS PRIMA FACIA EVIDENCE OF FUCKING GOD DAMN GOVT CORRUPTION !!! IF THIS WAS ME, THEY WOULD HAVE REAMED ME A NEW ASSHOLE.

  • Also, to let you know... When he says "we want to deregulate these companies..." he is purely lying. There are so many misconceptions this guy has.... he should either stop criticizing what he knows nothing about...or become educated on the subject first. Anyone that has watched this video and agreed with him has done themselves an injustice. NOTHING said here is correct. (Not sure if I have stressed that enough) His knowledge on this subject is absolutely nonexistent!

  • your not right they their contracts had a clause in them that got base pay and bonus were to be paided is the company profits where taken out profit.

  • Because they didn't go through any bankruptcy proceedings, the govt cannot stop them from receiving this money. (If they would have filed for bankruptcy, those contracts would have been renegotiated or tossed) When you sign a valid contract, it is legally binding...the govt cannot choose to break a contract in force. (at least not in America, due to the Constitution)

So again, the reason these contracts must be paid is the document is still legally binding. Forget logic...think LAW

  • Okay, if any Americans are watching this...EVERYTHING this guy is saying is wrong & he is spouting a purely authoritarian, non-democratic idealogy!

First, HIS facts: 1. AIG filed bankruptcy

    2. discrepancy in numbers

    3. AIG contracts. The REAL FACTS:

    1. Never filed for bankruptcy

    2. the govt also bought shares in the company

    3. the contracts are a result of the company not being allowed to go bankrupt. Thus for the corp to not pay them, would be ILLEGAL!

    Blame our intelligence!

  • 1. Listen here dipshit he didn't say they filed for bankruptcy. He said in effect they were bankrupt because of how much in debt they were.

    2. What the fuck does the government buying AIG stock have to do with AIG fudging the numbers of what they got and what they are giving back?

Seems to me that you're the one spouting the bullshit around here. You keep on scrubbing that turd hoping it will turn into something shiny.

  • 1. The word bankruptcy is a legal term, and he DID say they went bankrupt & then went on to compare them to a corp that did file for bankruptcy. HINT: You aren't bankrupt unless you file for it)

    2. Stock is ownership in a corp, so that is not money that was borrowed or that should be paid back. If I buy a stock, the corp owes me nothing, but dividends (if app) and voting rights.

You seem angry, but still uninformed. Everything in this video is false and misleading.

  • what do u mean u arent bankrupt if u dont file for it?? If you owe money and u cant pay it back that means your in debt and depending on how much you owe you need to file for bankruptcy

Also it is a known fact that AIG has messed with the numbers to make it seem like they were doing good when in reality they were doing poorly.

The video is just an opinion but dont make it seem like it is all lies because he is well-informaed and has shed light on a few important matters.

    Pardon my spelling.

  • I can understand where you come from, but everything in this video IS wrong. The term bankruptcy ONLY applies when you file for it. (Maybe people say the term all the time, but it is strictly a LEGAL term. It isn't correct when it is applied to ANYONE who hasn't filed.

And about AIG fudging the numbers....it isn't any known fact (at least not publicly) and this wouldn't have ANYTHING to do with what we are talking about.

I understand your disgust, but we are a country of laws...not mobs

  • See now you're just trying to twist shit to fit your story.

  • This is all general business knowledge. If you don't believe me, please crack any high school business book. You don't have to have a Series 7 license to know this stuff.

  • I never tried to debate the definition of the word bankruptcy. You heard Cenk wrong and made a bullshit point about AIG not filing bankruptcy. You were wrong, it's BLARINGLY obvious you were wrong. Just fucking accept it and move on. You're making yourself look worse here.

  • Correct! The banks never filed for bankruptcy. The government not only borrowed and gave them the money with little to no terms, they're the ones that went to the banks to borrow them money in the first place, banks never started begging until government suggested the bailouts. The banks are actually forced by the laws government created and those in the constitution to pay those contracts. I understand the outrage as you do, congress really fucked up and now they have no power over the banks.

  • Honestly heres what I want to happen..I want the WHOLE FUCKING SYSTEM to collapse, mass layoffs, riots, and mabye just MABYE my fellow Americans, we will learn not to just sit around being f'ed by our government and banks with our thumbs up our asses

  • my prediction is that you will get your wish.

  • mexico was a test like 6 or 7 years ago, the same thing happened, and we're still paying the banks, it will take around 20 more years. it was a test because nothing happened, please americans, for the first time dacle war to the real enemy, you have your 5th amendment, use it wisely

  • *declare

  • I don't care who you are (big or small) company. Bonuses are exactly that, BONUSES! A reward, simple as that. You don't get a reward for running a company into the ground. Bonuses should come from a SURPLUS the company has created. No surplus, no bonus! I personally believe ALL companies that got bail outs should have been required to submit a game plan as to how they will fix the problems with the bail out money and be forced to show they are sticking to the plan by being inspected.

  • You don't get a reward for running a company into the ground. Bonuses should come from a SURPLUS the company has created. No surplus, no bonus!

YOUR A SMART MAN MY FRIEND...KUDOS for using your brain

  • Tax any bonuses for executives of bailed out banks at 150%. Fuckem.

  • Agreed.

  • Man I feel like screaming that quote "I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore" out the window...

  • scum.... I can take this. We need to beat these people up. String em up.

  • I agree, The government is incapable of doing anything to reign AIG in. These people need to have their asses kicked. If we fuck-up a few of them, the rest of the rats will decide it's not worth it and quit screwing us.

  • Christ, I wanna work for AIG. Millions upon millions of bonuses even when you fail at your job! Who do you have to screw to work there?

  • It's only the execs lol.

  • Damn....

  • @tehant1liberal are you fucking kidding me? Im astonished at ur reasoning. Either way nothing will seem 2 get resolved. Gov't involvement is as malignant and cancerous as it could possibly b 2 the people. Deep set n corruption everything is fucked, but to actually support the idea that bankers will fix it all. Humanity is naturally evil there is no resolution leaving it up 2 "specialists" they aren't out to fix us! Just themselves. just wow, seriously Can't believe theres people out ther like u

  • You are foolishly misrepresenting the basic idea of a free market economy. These banks are receiving a loan from the government. Imagine buying a house and having a mortgage. Now, imagine at the end of each month having a payment to make. Then, you make a call, and tell the bank, "hey, I've worked really hard this month, and I think I deserve a bit of a break, so I'm only going to pay you 50% of this month's mortgage payment, so that I can use the other 50% and buy something nice for myself".

  • bingo! 100% agreed

  • Clearly, this does not make sense, and yet it mirrors quite readily the situation at hand.

Secondarily, don't confuse BONUSES for SALARIES. I am in full agreement with these men and women receiving their originally-allotted SALARIES. BONUSES, on the other hand, are traditionally reserved for rewards that have come about due to outstanding profit within the company.

Make sure you understand the systems properly before making nonsensical claims about "this thing called THE FREE MARKET."

  • The "Free Market" you are most likely referring to doesn't exist in any currently given country. It is impossible for any completely Free Market to exist in modern economies without some kind of distortion. The model itself is practically hypothetical.

Not to mention, it doesn't work anyway. This current crisis wasn't caused by a Free Market, but it was caused by a lack of regulation. This lack of such is invented by Free Market ideology, which isn't a working model, in all honesty...

  • Seriously dude are you trolling, because to say something that stupid your either looking to antagonize people or you watch fox news.

  • 20 million isn't 20% of 120 million...

  • It's 20% of 100 million.

  • No shit.

  • I hope those guys go to hell

  • Comment removed

  • We rich people would like to thank the conservative, republican, libertarian and objectivist for creating an atmosphere since reagan an atmosphere that allows for us to rob blind the american and world peoples. And most people are too cowardly to actually do anything against us. I love being rich. You keep following Murdocj and his mouthpieces and keep being ditto heads, we thank you for your lack of intelligence, and will that allows to make up the rules and make you believe them to be right

  • Must be nice to be connected through Ivy League old-boy networks. $100 million? $160, 189, 120, pick a number...? It's the Golden Rule in action.

  • We're no longer "Land of the Free". Instead we're "Land of the Free Market". Or "Land of the Underpaid Corporate Slaves", I haven't decided which one's better yet.

  • AIG is disgusting they all should be thrown in jail.. suddenly regular bank robbers don't seem bad because the real robbers WORK at the corporations. I guess America has turned into a nation of, by, and for the corporate interests.

  • Those guys should be put in jail

  • so if AIG was broke when they owed $182 billion, what does that make the US, if the national debt is over $12 trillion?

sounds like we're wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy beyond broke to me..

so who's gonna bail us out???

  • @elnegrobembon

    China.

  • I love Cenk's idea to tell them that we are willing to put them in prison for fraud. - However that is suggesting that America is a serious nation and this GD banana republic will never hold a rich person accountable for any reason.

  • We had to bail them out though, Cenk.

  • It's like tipping a rapist.

  • That's the best way I've heard that put, and I think I'll quote that in discussion on the matter. Awesome.

  • Thanks. To be honest, I just ripped it off a cartoon Joe Biden from SuperNews. lol

  • Where's Obama in all this? Pretending to be upset somewhere?

  • i like that cause in the state of the union address i could tell he was just giving us some ookie cutter bullshit and trying to place blame on republicans instead of growing a pair of balls and saying that he's goona regulate every fucking "big" company until they get their shit together

  • the banks are using the influence in the government they put in place to insure they get anything they want .. that is why the banking industry invested $5 billion in the last decade to buy congress and get their people appointed to government offices that directly regulate their business dealings

  • Turk should replace Cenk.

  • He's the one who started TYT...can't fire the boss.

  • Put them chapter 11. Then the judge will allow for contract revocation or renegotiation.

  • Cenk, don't you get it. The law is to protect the rich. They are the ones running the government. I mean look at the facts. When corporations lose in courts, the results are sealed and somehow the government gives that same company subsidies for something that ends up being the exact amount that was settled on. Or the company changes it's name and still able to get subsidies. The mama and papa businesses don't get anything. It's protectionism of the wealthy and well connected.

  • I think there's a George Orwell quote from Animal Farm that fits this to a T: "Four legs good, two legs better".

One rule for the rich, and another for the middle class and poor.

  • I stopped paying US taxes in 2004, only to come back to Canada and find out, Canadians are paying for the same god damn bail-out.

  • @Pleblian

It sure isnt as bad up here. We have less unemployed and no banks failing. Because we have a decent regulatory system.

We only bailed the auto industry.

  • "We only bailed the auto industry."

since 2008, we've payed at least $25B to "Canada mortgage and housing corp" a crown corporation to help stabilize the Canadian mortgage market.

And it's not as good as the Canadian media would have us believe either... But thank god we have a much sounder social structure as a safety net, your right.

Canadians need to get rid of this "We're better than Americans" attitude, there's more corruption taking place here then we canuks willing to admit.

  • true.. didn't ur Prime Minister make it possible for him to stay in office beyond his normal term ? that is very scary if a head of state doesn't leave office when he is suppose to

  • @xadam2dudex

    Well... no

We have a Westminster-style parliamentary system as long as the leader of any given party, in this case the conservatives, has support from another, the ndp (New democratic party), he stays the majority, it's called a plural government.

This system is complicated at times because I still don't understand where our elected government starts and the Crown (bureaucracy) ends.

The way I understand it, the queen can still veto bill.

  • She can, but if she does, shes a goner. And its the queen by proxy. Its the governor general (disposable) who sign the bills in the name of the queen.

Its all still in place because the constitution is extremely hard to modify, mainly because all province can simply veto any major change for whatever reason they see fit.

  • The queen of Canada has more power, then the queen of the united kingdom, by constitutional rule.

    Isn't that a bitch?

I've learned allot since I've come back and still learning. One thing that I see as problematic is the crown, and by crown I mean the country's bureaucracies, is absolute. There's no real way to keep them in check i.e. the RCMP is a contractor to the queen and answers only to the her. WTF?

  • What the fuck are you talking about...

"didn't ur Prime Minister make it possible for him to stay in office beyond his normal term ? "

    How about NO?

Its in the constitution, its a 5 year term, and they are a minority anyway. The opposition can call an election within weeks...

Making things up is good as long as nobody with political knowledge happens to read it.

  • Um... Prorogation?

  • Nobody was trying to call for an election and it is a perfectly constitutional and old option of the prime minister. Nothing new.

  • last yr I thought there was a news story about the prime minister at the objection of many extended his time in office .. but don't get bent out of shape.if it didn't happen.. maybe it was the Governor General

  • stupid superbowl ads...

  • publish the address and phone numbers of these guys and let the people decide about justice

  • Uhhh @ the corruption! Let's get rid of them all.

  • dont give them that much credit... 20 million is only 16% 120M not 20%

  • Evil motherfuckers. Hey Barry, ask your Wall Street cabinet what to do.

  • Put them all in a Federal rape me in the ass prison. LMAO!

  • Rape isn't funny. It is a very serious crime.

  • @ShadowCrashed81 It's a quote from the movie "Office Space" you noob.

  • Its still not funny. Rape is serious.

  • Rape is only serious if it happens to someone who doesn't deserve it. But in this case I believe that most corporate execs deserve to get fucked in the ass

  • So basically "rape is only bad when it happens to women." You brainwashed feminist.

  • no jackass did you not read what i said. Take your head out your ass and pay attention. No one said it wasn't bad but you believe that no one should be raped, well I think someone who fucks with my ability to make money and provide a living for my family and afford to put a roof over my family's head deserves to get raped multiple times. I don't care if it is a man or woman you can't be allowed to play with people's lives like that.

  • Also how am I a feminist if what i said had nothing to do with women. The only feminist here is you and your argument is shitty, just like your idiotic logic.

  • Not a feminist. I just don't like having male rape overlooked. Now the subject is closed.

  • How retarded do you sound?. I can tell your just some stupid little 13 year old that thinks that everyone deserves equal treatment. I'm also guessing that you don't have a job so keep your idiotic thoughts to yourself. In some cases, Rape is justified. Now the subject is closed, bitch.

  • I don't have a job because I don't think rape is cool?

  • no idiot. My point is that since you dont have a job(assuming u dont) you dont know what its like to have your wages garnished, living from paycheck to paycheck, been fired, not able to afford your house or apartment because of how greedy executives are and how they dont care about ruining people's lives and all they qant is to make a quick buck. think and read before you try to formulate an opinion.

  • That is your own fault for not being able to pull yourself out. Stop being lazy.

  • Your too stupid to participate in this conversation so just stop talking.

  • >Your

    Yes, I'm the dumb one.

  • America desperatly needs a socialist labour party,

honestly, get rid of capitalist bigotry and corporate america.

  • I agree, although I'm more of a social capitalist then a socialist. But America needs a socialist/labor party just so they can catch up to Europe and Canada in terms of social progress.

  • Wrong. America needs to throw out ancient laws and get rid of all you morons.

  • @MassLiberal1

Indeed. The best economy is a mixed one.

  • democrats and republicans are not stupid, they just could give less of a fuck about what happen just as long as there taken care of.

  • Ever since the bogus congressional investigation, I've been waiting for the media to report that Edward Liddy resigned from the GOLDMAN board of directors to go to AIG. That was just DAYS before Paulson's bailout!

  • Cenk you are wrong, you see they did their job, and quite well at that, therefore is only logical for them to get paid.

  • @tubehax

They already have a pay. But the bonuses are not necessary.

  • What job did they do?

  • why do we love big biz???? do we really like grabbing our ankels for them that much

  • @mykmmc we dont, but our politicians do for obvious reasons.

  • @tubehax but we let them gat away with it we should be out in the streets asking for our money back

  • The talking point here useless. The $700 billion bail is is the farce. I don't want just that back. I want a percentage of profit on the $28+ trillion given by the fed at no cost to be pumped back into the wall street markets. How do you think they are making those bonuses?

This is also how you get a jobless recovery, and a short term up word spurt in the stocks(artificial).

Hold on to your hats this year folks, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

  • It may not be perfect but the Scandinavian model of capitalism works so much better. The system would never be accepted wholly by the US but taking some lessons from it would avoid ultra greed destroying the lives of those who helped to accumulate the wealth in the 1st place

  • These banksters from Fall street should be hanged! Fuck capitalism!

If we taxed all the billionaires in the US alone, we would surpass the 700 billion dollars used to bailout these motherfuckers!

  • Uhh thats not capitalism. Definition:

Capitalism- an economic system in which investment in ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange of wealth is MADE by private individuals or corporations. The bail out is socialism. "the means of production and distribution of goods are controlled by the government or a collective.

Please don't buy into there belief that capitalism is bad. Free market when left untethered, made the country the richest and innovative in the world.

  • Actually an untethered free market has caused two economic crashes in 1 century. Remember that it was the U.S.A. that led the world into the Great Depression & Recession. Some regulation is required. Also, the U.S.A. is not the richest country in the world.

  • Read "Meltdown" by Tom Wood, and you will find out more about the Great Depression and the Depression of the 20s. The difference was; the Great Depression was planned and carried out and then sustained for 15 years because of government interference.

The USA was, I repeat was the richest. Not only that we had more inventions and cutting edge industry way earlier than any other country.

Now, put down your big mac, filter your water, and forget about your public school indoctrination.

  • AIG trolling again i see

  • That's though love economics for you, love for the richest and tough for the rest.

  • I'm so tired of hearing about AIG. I would love it if the next time I hear "AIG" it would be followed by "Is completely DONE and is currently in liquidation".

FYI the head of AIG Financial Division, who brought the company down currently lives in the UK. All that money he made, and continues to make is "Trickling Down" in a foreign country.

  • The fact that no one is arrested yet... its just SICK...

  • You've been punked

    =-)

    Whatcha Gonna Do Punk

  • O was Big Finances top recipient in 08 to the tune of $40 million. Might explain

why 12 months later there has been virtually nothing done to reign in Wall St's excesses.

  • in australia the banks behave. i think we have different campain donation laws

  • The rich boys like rush limbaugh and his FUCKING DITTOHEADS are easy to oppose and discount but part of them of your/our best friends.

A snake like limbaugh has stole the minds of our countrymen to make them vote against themselves.

I cannot even contain my hate for that fat little rich boy in one comment.

For we are not defeated We are the American people.

  • And many times we have crawled forward when the bombs were raining down.

Many times we have adapted and overcome.

Many times we have proven our words by our actions.

Many times and many times more we prove our invicible core.

We are the American people and our strength is just like before.

  • Cenk, it's been a long time since you played the 'They will do!' audio clip. Could you bring that back? That's the best. 'They will do!'

Willing to die for such rhetoric?

Then I'll quotet Gen. Patton when he said. "The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other

    bastard die for his.

No poor bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making

other bastards die for their country"
