2. my guess is that it is a cat-back system.

3. there is no such thing as an out dated exhaust system, just a bad one. basically you buy what you pay for.

4. most are a straight through design with baffles on the the inside that catches the air and causes it to slow down before it completes it's way out of the exhaust. mugen makes an exhaust system the reroutes it by looping it back around into the muffler, then out.

@TheRallycrossKing your stupid, 1st of all what kind of civic r u getting for 400 bucks even a shell is more than that not to mention all that has to be done to it. 2nd $1200 for a motor with no tranny, 3rd and perhaps the most important u cant get a turbo for 2k and make 300hp, stock rods wont handle much more than 7-8 psi of boost. i had a 99 si with a ball bearing t3/t4 garret turbo, on hondata and my 2002 ws6 is WAY faster than it ever was and i was pushing 14.5 psi. running 12.4 in the 1/4.
