Ok you just suck at this game. Its called Intelligent AI. ITs also called Tactics. If you dont want to get ganked try hiding and not leaving yourself so vulnerable is probably a good idea, The game isnt going to hold your hand, your ganna have to try and not stand around like in WOW.

The graphics and animation may be out of date. But thats it. Its going to be the best game ever and take real skill. You dont just click one button, you side slash you move around so you don't get hit, you block you can fight on mounts you can knock people off mounts.
AOC ddint make the kindof game they said they where going to make, Thats why no one liked it. You are running out of stamina maybe because youve been sprinting for 5 hours and swinging at mobs with a 1 handed sword thats over 9 miles away from you as you chase it. this is an amazing game stop trying to tell everyone its bad. dont like it? leave the fuckin game

No blocking?? blocking would eliminate spamming attack if it was implemented properly also If you have hurt an opponent in combat they should be hindered in there movement speed. combat still looks too random, they should slow it down when you unsheathe. its too fast, so you spam LMB to have a lucky hit. in your case it didn't work out and you run out of stamina. maybe it would be better if in fight mode (unsheathed) your stamina bar empties and regenerates faster.

The biggest problem I have with combat is the server sync issues. Sometimes you can be right on top of someone and swing right through them, completely missing. Other times you can be faced the opposite direction and still hit them.
Your stupid, you keep swinging your blade at an enemy when ur not in range.

one thing I've always hated about many RPGs.. they give you all these tweaks for physical appearance. From that, 2 things:
1: You almost never see them. You're often 'behind' view of your toon (lets face it, we know a blood elf ass better than a face). And
2: They don't really make that much of a change.
I'd love to see the changes be, maybe a little physical, but moreso to outfit (clothing / armour) appearance. That'd be far more interesting.

Yeah i think there will be, like capes, but most likely cloaks or something.
You know what i like most about this game?
You can wear like anything, just anything
For example: you kill a goblin and get full loot.
If he has like a leather pauldron on him, you can wear it just like that without having to read that you need xx str or xx lvl. :D

The more I see actual gameplay footage of Darkfall the more disappointed I get by how amateurish and clumsy the combat looks.
People can say "yeah well I'd rather good gameplay than graphics" but tbh from what I've seen Darkfall doesn't appear to have either.
Shame really, it seemed so promising on paper.
