  • Its like I am seeing my cars twin!!! Same year and color and wheels, no hardtop though. Sticking with the soft top. I am currently doing some mini runs to get the feel for her but its a lot of body roll :/ I am thinking of sticking with looks for the S@ and just doing up a Sil80 project.

  • Nice drifting and good music choice afi is a great band, I can't wait to get an s2k I will never get rid of it and I need to go karting again soon I haven't gone in like 2 years it was good practice when not at the track

  • S2k's are not build for drifting...!

  • I know, it was a hard car to drift, thats why I have a 240sx now:) It was a great car however, very balance and nimble; able to turn into a corner while trail braking and have the rear end rotate beautifully. Easy car for shallow angle/ zero steer effect pre-apex due to trailed braking.

    I DO MISS HER :(

  • wish i could drive my sk like that lol

  • does anybody know if you have to go to racing school to get a racing job and I live in NY so where do I have to go to apply for the job? if anybody knows comment me back

  • Nice. I own an S2000 and only have the opportunity to pratice drifting on the streets in the wet. I know how hard they can be to control.

  • hey jared I was wondering if you ever tryed playing gran turismo 5 game with a Logitech steering wheel

  • hey, i tried it once for about 5 mins. on my friends system. it was pretty good. i am online a few nights a week racing on rfactor in megane trophy and drifting in oversteer 2.2. thats about it for any sim action.

  • oh ok cool, i need to get a g25 with rfactor, that game looks soo nice and has soo many mods, but gt5 is on another level, this week there is this crazy competiton, its a time trial and you can win a trip to red bull drifting comp and ride shotgun with tanner foust in the practice if you get the best time, soo far im 10th place :P anyways nice to see you answered me.

  • hhhmmmmm AFI right?

  • yessir!

  • Nice seeing you again Jared. See you again in Advanced Karting Class! Check out my videos too!

    Charles(Drift/Track buddy, Go Karting Student)

  • What suspension mods do you have done to your s2k? It isn't known for its ease to drift or kick out the tail, it tends to want to grip and stay neutral!

  • its probably stock any FR can drift with the right driver behind the wheel its different for every car. the s2k is one of the more advanced cars to drift. i think its all abut transferring the right amount of Weight useing the cars Weight and lightly useing E-brake to start the drift if u have two much angel or too much power then the car will oversteer and spin out every time but not enough power will mack u regan traction and that can really fuck u up if your countersteering . nice video

  • Are you part of any division for SCCA? Such as autocross or closed circuit?

  • Not currently.

  • My name is Luke Lonberger. I have seen Jared from his beginning in drifting. We always thought he would be a competitor. I have raced with him many times and he is always a great personality to have in the pits. On the track he is like a rattle snake. Waits until he has a chance then strikes. I endorse this guy fully and know that he will be able to make it to the pros, and stay there.

    Luke.

  • Very cool. So how would you say the competition is now in Formula Russell? Also, have you driven the new 300hp cars?

  • The competition is actaully the closest it has been in years between Caleb Kenney and Nic LeDuc, but Caleb just got hurt in a street car accident and cant race this weekend.. We have tested the new cars, I did not drive, hopefully soon..

  • Nice man, so did you win the Russell or Skip Barber series?

  • Hey there, I was third in the Russell Mechanics Championship 6 years ago, a lot of fast guys in the series back then (Scott Speed, etc..). I finished 1st in the regional Skoal-Skip Barber Runoffs at Laguna and 2nd in the Skoal-Skip Barber Nationals at Vegas, but I was faster than Ron Capps and Tommy Johnson, thats my claim to fame... Jk. I am a full time instructor at Russell now and get to hop in a lot of fast cars almost every day.

  • Jared was my karting instructor for my basic and advanced classes at the Infineon kart track.

  • This is the nicer video. Keep up the good work. And sry bout the comment the other day.
