@xXFunKyIYlonKyXx seeing as how you're the one thats narrow minded thinking horsepower is all that matters, let me educate you a bit. my vette makes 503.2 rwhp, 522.8 rwtq, and runs 11.4s average on street tires. stock supersnakes with 750 crank (about 638rwhp average) runs 11.9s on street tires. they lose more power thru the d/t than vettes do and they dont have the chassis and suspension to back that power up. and vettes arent muscle cars, they're sports cars. educate yourself before arguing.

But a GT500SS, or KR produces anywhere north of 5500HP and can keep putting those numbers up there for thousands of miles with a warranty, a back seat, full interior, and doesn't look out of place sitting next to a Porsche or 'Vette. nice car man my dad and i have a gt500kr and a gt500 we have a built super gt40 motor in gt500 with 950hp 827 rwhp but anways when the ss came out and the talk of the kr coming we wanted to get the ss when they had kr hood and our car was gunna be number 3 of the 07 ss to be tested with the tvs but then they changed it all and we decided not to do it for magizine and did it way we wanted but this car is the nicest ss on youtube and ive seen and like other guy said i like how you show it stock

Future plans will be simple bolt-ons such as 3" pulley, tune, twin fan intercooler, cams, and a modified set of wheels for a pair of 325's. It's already a handful but still fun to take out. dude i respect that car very much. i like it and all, but cmon man...that is NOT a vette eater, nor a ZR1 killer..you cant compare to the zr1 unless you do ALOT of mods to that thing. maybe like some twin turbos or something, but once again, you cant compare the super snake to a straight up BEAST, (the zr1, even the z06)
@20mike111 ...Both of you guys know this is todays muscle car and not a road course machine like the Z06 and the ZR1, but all that is needed is a fat set of 325's and the car comes alive (checkout team Shelby forum for the SS). The car was designed very well and and not overly engineered; although the engineers left one crucial part out of the equation...getting it to hook. In stock form the GT500 hooked better, in this present form it's nothing but a tire roaster! But its all done in fun! :)
With that large opening in the front it can't possibly be the most aerodynamic thing out there. Is it needed to clear the blower or is it for cooling?
The car is amazing. Does the Super Snake have the 155 mph governor that the GT500 has? If so what a shame if not what is the top speed of the 725 hp package?
@neonmike1000 ... haven't hit it yet, not so sure I can trust the hood scoop at that speed, it flexes too much, not in the mood to replace it from stress cracks ... wish Shelby had installed the Carbon Fiber...a lot stronger.

@lethaldosage6040 As noted by poiznd1, the SS is not a production car by Ford; rather, to get a true SS you must first purchase a Shelby GT500 Cobra and send it into Shelby for the modification to a SS. You have a choice of 630 or 725 HP for the 2008 model. This one is 725. Modifications for your GT can also be done at Shelby--just go to Shelby Automobiles web site for details, then post your video.
@lethaldosage6040 ...mods for GT's are pushing shy of 600HP...not too shabby, plus the Shelby is nearly 200lbs heavier. Get it to hook and yur in there.

i have same supersnake same color. the traction issues have been solved. go to the forum at team shelby and read traction issues. u send wheels to weldcraft they widen to 11 7/8ths and then u put on toyo proxy r8888 or micheline ps2s. im running 13" wide sticky r8888 its a different car.

Currently, as a package for about $10,000 you can modify your 07GT to a Shelby GT/SC which includes a supercharger, Baer brakes, guage pod, and strip designation. For additional bucks intercooler, special interior, brake ducts, 1/4 window covers, aluminum drive shaft, 3.73 rear gear, etc. Furthermore, you can piecemeal other things through their catalogue. What are you looking for specifically?

dude i respect that car very much. i like it and all, but cmon man...that is NOT a vette eater, nor a ZR1 killer..you cant compare to the zr1 unless you do ALOT of mods to that thing. maybe like some twin turbos or something, but once again, you cant compare the super snake to a straight up BEAST, (the zr1, even the z06)

@20mike111 ...Both of you guys know this is todays muscle car and not a road course machine like the Z06 and the ZR1, but all that is needed is a fat set of 325's and the car comes alive (checkout team Shelby forum for the SS). The car was designed very well and and not overly engineered; although the engineers left one crucial part out of the equation...getting it to hook. In stock form the GT500 hooked better, in this present form it's nothing but a tire roaster! But its all done in fun! :)

The car is amazing. Does the Super Snake have the 155 mph governor that the GT500 has? If so what a shame if not what is the top speed of the 725 hp package?

@neonmike1000 ... haven't hit it yet, not so sure I can trust the hood scoop at that speed, it flexes too much, not in the mood to replace it from stress cracks ... wish Shelby had installed the Carbon Fiber...a lot stronger.

@lethaldosage6040 As noted by poiznd1, the SS is not a production car by Ford; rather, to get a true SS you must first purchase a Shelby GT500 Cobra and send it into Shelby for the modification to a SS. You have a choice of 630 or 725 HP for the 2008 model. This one is 725. Modifications for your GT can also be done at Shelby--just go to Shelby Automobiles web site for details, then post your video.

i am pulling no codes except an occasional no catalytic converter code cause its gone.
but i reset that every 3 months when it flashes.
what is '110' ? whats t ?

Alloy is a perfect color for the SS package, Kona would be my second choice.

i have same supersnake same color. the traction issues have been solved. go to the forum at team shelby and read traction issues. u send wheels to weldcraft they widen to 11 7/8ths and then u put on toyo proxy r8888 or micheline ps2s. im running 13" wide sticky r8888 its a different car.

Gotta tell you that this is an absolutely killer vid--great job, fantastic car. Best, overall SS video on you tube as it shows both stills and video. Particularly like the supercharger whine when driving down the highway--sounds just like a jet. I presume 725 HP. Also, the transition from GT500 to SS adds a nice touch. Great foresite to takes those pics. Do another one.

@rudedog150 I agree, an absolutely fantastic video by poiznd1. Currently, as a package for about $10,000 you can modify your 07GT to a Shelby GT/SC which includes a supercharger, Baer brakes, guage pod, and strip designation. For additional bucks intercooler, special interior, brake ducts, 1/4 window covers, aluminum drive shaft, 3.73 rear gear, etc. Furthermore, you can piecemeal other things through their catalogue. What are you looking for specifically?
