  • Very nice Video! I seen your video on ThunderBayBuzz(dot)com which showcases Thunder Bay news, tweets, sports, Thunder Bay classifieds and entertainment. Really cool site that is showing Thunder Bay videos!

  • I will be going to Lakehead Uni in the fall, can't wait!!

  • lived there in 2009 nice for the most part. But theres a few bad apples that spoil the barrel ,got burned

  • I would love to know out of all the people making negative comments have you every done anything to contribute to the community and make it better? Or do you just sit on you computers complaining all day?

  • I live here. The only reason why I stay is because of family but I'll probably move anyway. It's gross & per capita we have one of the worst crime rates. There's no real "safe" neighbour hood because a few blocks away you'll find some projects or the east end, and so many people don't have jobs & get paid by the government. Will I miss it later? No. Fuck Thunder Bay =)

  • Wow! The natives took over the town. What does that statement have to say about the poster of that little gem. Well, bigot and racist come to mind.

  • @pmoyer50 ...Come here, and see for yourself....

  • @FeldwebelWolfenstool : Is it really that bad? So, this is not something we just got accustomed to in the states, eh? Is the crime rate that bad? And Thunder Bay is a city I used to dream about moving to a number of years back! Canada always seemed so green. I guess the grass does look greener on the other side of the fence.

  • born and raised in thunder bay.. the fairy tale music in this vid is very misleading lol. needless to say i live in british columbia now :)

  • And remember, the only traffic jams are the ones in the Tim Hortons drive through at 9:00 in the morning.

  • I bet City Hall has a department with employees who are tasked with surfing YOUTUBE all day, thumbing down all the realistic, honest comments about Blunder Bay.

  • on top of every thing else Lakehead University tried to open a law school here in the old P.A.C.I and the gov. told them the were bairly a accredited school and to not get above them selves

  • @gdkorps .. i spent 2 weeks in t bay, checking it out as i did have plans to move there from Kitchner. Ive changed my mind as i see the natives have taken the place over. From what ive seen its completely disgusting and is now classified the 2nd most highest crime rate in Canada, per capita. Try to enjoy your city.

  • More cops per capita, municipal tax rates DOUBLE anywhere else in Ontario, including downtown Toronto....

  • Yes, we here in Kitchener have heard from people in our City hall about the tradgedy you poor people are suffering at the hands of your local government. Something about a careless demolition of your waterfront or something.

Deplorable, try to save your city.

  • @sampson4008 hey your preaching to the choir man this place needs a bull dozing

  • @sampson4008 i live in thunder bay and it really is not bad but if u live in in the east end its bad but its fine in the other parts of thunder bay i really injoy my life here

  • @sampson4008 i live in thunder bay and it really is not bad but if u live in in the east end its bad but its fine in the other parts of thunder bay i really injoy my life here

  • @sampson4008 ...I'm readying up to leave myself. It's infested with retards, boggans, and overpaid civil "servants". The place once was great. Now, it's RUINED.

  • thunder bay is the greatest city in the world sure it has died down over the years but there are so many wonderful parks, niagara of the north, and eautiful lakes. its what you make of a city and i will always say its the greatest city in the world!

  • 1:53 the bingo place isn't a place to go anymore they took it down D=

I lived in THunder Bay my whole life and still am. To tell you the truth I think its boring here which explains all the partying and drinking thats all there is to do here xD

  • for a fact i live in thunder bay. It is very nice here. We have many friednly people. Please do not talk bad about it. I love living in thunder bay. I LIVE IN THUNDER BAY, IT IS GREAT, STOP MAKING FUN OF IT! i am saying it in a nice tone though...

  • @PrincessHv101 yes i suppose we sould try to be more accepting, why, we're only slightly worse then our sister city ,beruit ,for citizen dissatisfaction

  • Obviously you dont walk down May st or any other street ESPECIALLY after sun down.

  • LOL

Just spent 6 weeks there and wasn't impressed. :(

  • ya thunder bay youth are sooooo dedicated to partying its insane......its a good thing though.....they go to parties and drink and have few fights but its all in good fun........they still go to school, respect adults, and have jobs.....everyone in thunder bay is an alcoholic or pothead but it is almost a miracle how everyone can do all these things here but still be very normal ....like a highly functional alcy or pothead

  • @giiwed

not everyone is an alcoholic or pothead. thanks.

  • They hold a public plebiscite to allow borrowing $40 million for fixing up the city's Old Fogeys' Homes. Then they hand the Homes over to the Province, KEEPING THE CASH they borrowed, to spend it on friends & stuff. Molekular Medicine, Waterfront, ?... Now, they want to keep skimming the city's contribution to the Taj-MaHospital, even tho' that obligation has been paid up. Now Lynn just wants to keep that money flowing in? It's almost "criminal false prospectus" at work here, folks.

  • Hey DETRACTORS! Phone the pigs and ask them to charge me with slander and libel. Then we'll all see about the truth, that you don't like hearing about!

  • OMG...I am still laughing. LOVE IT. Whiners on here are no doubt the retards working at the Chamber of Commerce or hibernating 365 at Town Hall. That poor town. Per capita rate of losers is off the charts. Excessive population of pudgy, stupid biz ppl selling out TB and kissing rings in TO. AND the population IS decreasing. Boshcoff was shi*&ing a brick...we moved PDQ when the lovely and talentless Lynn rolled in....rolling eyes... Anyway -FAB video. Thank you!

  • you forgot tarrie fox...

  • you spelled it wrong its terry fox

  • @elmosenemy

    try 'Terry' Fox

  • it is like a town that was made as the Guiness book of records for rip offs. 31years here and counting, still waiting for the promises

  • I hear yah on the VIA rail thing. What the hell is the station doing all the way up in Armstrong. It makes no sense. Nice vid.

  • You sound as if you would be the type of person who wouldn't be happy no matter where you were. If you want to make positive changes in Thunder Bay, quityerbitchin and do something to change it.

  • LOL I love this video...

I like Thunder Bay - shop there all the time because I live in a small town OUTSIDE of TBay with NO jobs and NO stores...plus I was born in TBay :)

  • Yeah, but they have a brand new Hospital.

Its called the ABORIGINAL HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER.

  • the town is decreasing in population each year, and they even closed down PACI; one of the largest schools."

Actually that's not true at all. Thunder Bay's population increased from 2001 to 2006 .. the only time in history that the population decreased was in 2001 down 0.4% from 1996.

  • I couldn't agree more. However we must start by changing the leadership in this city before any real change will happen. There is a poor attitude in this city but attitude is a reflection of leadership. Just look at the Marina Park give away.

  • I think another thing is the youth of Thunder Bay need to be more open to things. After attending highschool with them for 5-6 years all they want to do is get drunk and do drugs.

  • No more paper mill jobs to pay for it all.

  • man thunder bay is sick you can basically just do whatever the hell you want and noone cares, and persians rip

  • how come he only took shotts that are the good places..but te rest is shit

  • If you guys don´t like Thunder Bay, why don´t you get out and stop bashing it and go enjoy life in your new town? Saying somewhere sucks tells a lot about yourself and your bitter personality which in turn reflects your pathetic existence. :D Anywhere can suck where you negative people live. I can´t wait to come home to TBAY and see the beauty that is there and all the things that make it my home. Cheers!

  • Thunder Bay sucks donkey balls.

  • This shit is so funny. Born in Thunder Bay. Live in Australia for twenty years. This made me really laugh. ITS ALL SOOO TRUE!!!

Thunder Bay sucks. But My entire family lives there still. UHG.

  • i hate living here for fuck sakes.

dont ever come here for toursim unless you like doing nothing

  • Well, you could swing a sledge hammer at an amethyst mine, no...wait...you might smash your foot, or take out an eyeball out from a flying chip of rock...

  • this video is awesome! Take the grey hound to tbay for the full experience... get chummy with locals LMAO...

  • Poor old Blunder Bay! Now that the pulp mills are pretty much toast, one can easily smell the formaldehyde! I lived in your town on and off for years and the only thing that would drag me back there is the certainty of another meal at the Hoito! God bless you all!

  • wow i was thinkin of going to Lakehead but now ................. not so much

  • I bet the Mayor is kissing your ass right now! You sure know how to get ahead in The Bay, I'll hand that to you. KEEP SUCKING HARD...IT MIGHT PAY OFF.

  • Hey how far away is Armstrong from Thunder Bay?? I didnt know the via stopped there. Im going to confed next year in T Bay and being able to take the via would be great! thanks guys

  • I wouldn't take the train. Armstrong is still about 3 hours away. Take a bus or a plane.

  • i dont think the via does stop there i live there the train in the video in on display in a park in fort willian but i unno

  • T bay rules we have a chapters and a lot more and the streets are never empty

  • ..."streets never empty"...ya, bored motorists with nothing to do, cruising past all the empty decrepit storefronts...

  • after years of hyping the 'crimewave' in tbay...everybody's too scared to walk at night

...so you can blame the cops for harming the environment as well as the collective psyche of tbay citizens...

  • just looked at the top headline posted on The Source - January 22, 2008...I rest my case!

  • yeah...sure looks like a good place to visit...way to go again cops!...at least you keep those fucking tourists away!

  • i need to ask... is there a book store in t-bay? i haven't been there in years :P why a book store? dunno lol. or atleast someplace that sells cosplay outfits? or has an anime con? XD lol just visit my channel and tell me.

  • Actually there is a two day anime con called kitacon. There are no cosplay outfits to be found as far as I know but we did get a fairly large Chapters sometime within the last decade.

  • and lol, this video glorifies the tbay economy and industry, when infact many stores are closing down, many abandoned buildings around, the town is decreasing in population each year, and they even closed down PACI; one of the largest schools.

  • nice video. i lived in tbay for a year....

its not bad, i certainly wish it had more graffiti. hip hop culture makes a neighbourhood look colourful.

watch my welcome to thunderbay video.

  • This is hilarious, I used to live about 2 hrs from Thunder bay. It is one of the cities with the highest crime rate and not much going on like most of the cities and small towns on the northshore. Interesting video though.
