  • Good video too bad the RCMP disgraced them self when they let a sand nigger where his turban with his uniform, if you want to be a part of a department like the RCMP, Ontario Provencal police, USMC Canada US army, Canada US navy you don’t change the history and the uniform just to accommodate some immigrant, they change to be a part of the unit not the unit change to be a part of them .

  • @bobthebuilder2005 Up to and during 70s, the RCMP hired only men of a certain height and weight. Often, a "good" candidate weighed over 200 pounds (90 kg) and stood at or above six feet (180 cm).

And now to answer your question

In the 80s and early 90s the RCMP implemented hiring goals to get new members The new hiring initiative, coupled with low hiring due to the small number of interest of the general public led to The minority hiring initiative.

This allowed an RCMP to wear a turban

  • @axispranaWell to me it’s bull and well it’s not just in the RCMP I work construction on the job site I have to where a hard hat they are exempt from having one on because of religion that’s messed we don’t where it we get a fine they don’t oh that’s ok I ride a motorcycle I have to by law where a helmet but they don’t as they say when in Rome do as the Romans do. I’m sorry I was a strong believer in equal right till my son was told in school he can’t say marry Christmas last year

  • @axisprana I’m sorry I was a strong believer in equal right till my son was told in school he can’t say marry Christmas last year by his school after that all bets were off Because it offended a student and his family after he gave all the kids in his class a Christmas card and this student took it home and his parents complained to the school that it offended them and should not be allowed heck we don’t even hear the lord prayer in schools no more you want to come to Canada

  • @axispranakids then be a part of it you don’t like our way of life and our traditions then go back to where you came from

  • @bobthebuilder2005 Glad you like the video, but ,you should tone down the rhetoric a bit.

You have to realise that tradition changes as public attitudes and populations change.

Here is a good example of RCMP changing their traditions.

In the late 1950s, only Canadian and British white male citizens were able to join the ranks.

In the 1960s, new members had to be single at recruitment, and keep that civil status for the first five years of service, in other words no marriage or your fired.

  • Why "Royal"? Do they work for the Queen of England or something? Why "Mounted"? Do they all ride horses? I think the "Royal Canadian Mounted Police" needs an upgrade.

  • @RepublicanDumbAss HEHEHE Thats a good one.

Ithink we all could use an upgrade.

  • @axisprana yes they do work 4and reprsent the queen u dumbass .... and before they where all mounted..

  • Comment removed

  • @RepublicanDumbAss They earned the title "Royal" in 1904 from King Edward VII because of their services to Canada and the Empire of Britian. The Queen does reign over Canada usually through her Governor General. She has the power to hire and fire the government and is the head of the Order of Canada, Armed Forces, RCMP, etc...

As for mounted, yes the RCMP are a mounted force (thus the yellow stripe) though for practicality reasons vehicles are used. The musical ride carries on the traditions.

  • as a regular member constable at an annual salary of $46,003. Normally, within 36 months of service, your salary will increase incrementally to $74,539 annually.
