I know that knowing the score is a good thing but just look at how much hate IGN gets for the points they give.

So putting no score at all is almost the best way to get minimal hate for the review.

animations look much cleaner than ufc. i think if given the ufc liscence (spelling) adn another year of deolopment. this game will trump undisputed within 2 -3 years. graphics look better. colision detection looks better. not familiar with the controls, but this does look like a cleaner game in my opinion. fel free to reply and let me know what you think.

I just defeated Ken Shamrock In Mystic league crazy he was awesome but i won :) perhaps when i finish CM i'll use a shared fighter, and then "go till" FNC releases March 1st. This game is great though, you could prob replay career a thousand times just to pass the time.

@MrFreddy4 Definately get it over UFC, the ground game is more responsive, the animations look better, there are more options and angles to take in a fight. I agree the load times suck, but overall this game trumps UFC just for the depth alone.

I have both and I was ufc fanboy but Ea mma feels and plays so much better. It captures the whole mma world perfectly. You can travel to different gyms and gain experience in ji jutsu, boxing, wrestling, kickboxing, Muay Thai, judo , etc. This game is the best mma game ever made but they released very bad demo for it and that messed up with peoples head. This is a must buy.

UFC 2010 is much better. I've played both and UFC outclasses EA MMA. The animations on EA MMA are the same for all fighters in my opinion. All the fighters move slow and glide along the canvas. Yes, the graphics are quality (like FNR4) but saying this UFC also has great graphics. In UFC the fighters all fight differently, the animations are different and everything feels alot more professional.

UFC also has all the big names, as the leading MMA organisation. For me, EA has got it all wrong.

just because you can't do 1000 moves doesn't mean that there aren't a lot of moves in the game. It's a very smooth game with punches, kicks, submissions, takedowns, etc. I don't know what moves were overlooked, all I know is that it's way more realistic than the UFC game. And the rules? Those are the rules of MMA, there's not a huge rule book. What else do you need to know? EA did a very good job in my opinion

Yes and no it's Ea MMA is best representation of MMA in various forms one reason I bought the game. Good decent stand up fighting with some generic moves and specials that should be basic moves for example flying knee what about a driving knee to the body or just a normal knee. Let us have options of moves. Moves that were over looked were More ground attacks like side control knees and attempts at soccer kicks or stomps in most positions free will not only for tko finishes.

MMA has simple controls for anyone that likes mixed martial arts games and UFC if for fans that really understand and follow every bit of it, MMA for fun and UFC for followers......they are both really good games btw i got em both :)

the TKO happen way to early five good punches and your opponent down then you just whelm off on his ass and 9 out 10 you'll get the TKO. i won alot of my fights that way.

@achamenes Are you serious Career mode sucks like after the first 9 fights i got tired of it. there is only like a hand full of gyms to visit you don't get to pick your fights and as much as i like bas ruten that mutha fucker is annoying as hell. after i would like the first few belts i put the difficulty on easy just to hurry up and get through the rest. that shit got boring and later in the Career it didn't get any better it was interesting at the start but shitty finish.

well the the different rules is why I bought the game unique role in MMA than just strictly casino ufc game this game. The game is not so different feels very limited in the combat fight engine lack of unique fighting style on the fighters themselves and the caf is terrible.7/10 ok

The AI in this game is actually very difficult! Medium difficulty can sometimes give me a better challenge than ppl online. I cant see how you complained about the AI being too easy when i in fact think its a little too difficult, unless of course you were playing on easy difficulty then that explains your argument. I have to disagree with how you guys think UFC is the better game. Being a fan of MMA, i think that EA MMA gives you a more realistic feel than Undisputed. But, this is my opinion.

All you do is fight with different characters and there is no depth. If you are a tru MMA fan, then get this. Fallout is very deep and has a lot in it but it gets kinda boring. Medal of Honor is kinda like Battlefield Bad Company 2 but better and deeper multiplayer. So if you like MMA, get this, if you like RPG's, get fallout, if you like wars and shooters and adventure games, get MoH.

EA MMA is a much better game. Definitely EA MMA. If you watch UFC exclusively though, you're better to get the UFC game because you won't know any fighters in the EA game bar a few.

@TimeSplittersChimp You'll have to play both...I played UFC more so i know the controls very well and they are very in depth, I have all played the demo for MMA and the tutorial doesn't offer much help with the controls but i pretty sure the real game will do a much better job teaching you just rent both and make the call yourself they same very closely matched

@bigphilly08 Exactly, they are evenly matched. MMA offers a smoother expierence that looks closer to a real MMA fight. The game has uses the FNR4 physics and graphical engine which do any amazing job. UFC is a deeper game, it's more complex as well, but gives too many options that are either useless or something the fighter you're using would NEVER do. It looks more robotic and doesn't resemble an actual MMA fight as well. Both do a great job, and they are different enough to purchase both.
