@spacemanspiff33 i have experience with android bud, i'm my own source. when the droid x was new... aka july 15th 2010 the day i waited in line with $500 to buy it retail at verizon, the battery sucked. and so did the graphics engine. i remember saying (so much for an iphone killer) the day i took it out of the box. but i still liked it. widgets were ok, but made the phone run like shit.
open source does suck, didn't like it then, certainly don't like it now that im aware of the mobile security flaws it has (i have EVERYTHING on my phone. not worth it). the multiple people that tell me that ICS was way overhyped and is complex and annoying is enough of a source for my "isn't getting any better" claim, adobe dropped support for flash on all future models because it was a flop and compromised browser speed (you're the noob). 10 bucks gets you a new back plate on amazon.

People saying you can't compare these two phones are crazy just because the note is a monster doesn't mean it is a tablet. It's a direct competitor to the iPhone.
I have the galaxy note and it works like crap, always crashing and sometimes it gets unresponsive, not to mention the weak battery life (despite the fact that is has one of the strongest batteries ever made for smartphones). But even though I'm taking sides with Apple, I've got to admit that it was a nice attempt for Samsung to make a tablet phone, maybe the note 2 will be better (if note 2 will exist).
Yet it was a bad idea to campare an iphone with a tablet phone, totally two different types.

overall performance iphone is definitely a clear winner, in term resolution pixel camera performance and material quality versus Samsung cheap plastics... not to mention u thing Super Amoled Screen is superd ? go checkout the battery usage at the end of the day before charging under the setting, the display consumed 50% of the battery life... so if u wan to played a game surf the net 2-3 hrs u can say bye bye to ur battery...lol

samsung's phone looks good BUT in term of usable internal memory is ONLY a miserable 2 gig thou its stated to have a 16 gig of memory, the rest of the 14gig is use by the phone android OS and Samsung system, if u dont believe me check on the setting on ur Samsung phone... But iphone 16 memory 2 -3gig is for IOS the rest is free for u... in term of boost up why iphone is faster becos iphone doesnt have a xtra memory slot while all android need to read memory slot before going on to main screen...

@wyattearp88 I have a skyrocket, 2 gigs is dedicated to the OS, 2 gigs is for internal storage, and the other 12 gigs are for USB storage on the phone, so yes you can store up to 14 gigs on the phone, and you can expand that to 32 gigs with an micro sd card.

Up until the 3GS apple were the frontrunners in smartphones, but sticking to the same OS for 4 years and only making minor improvements each year isn't cool.

@Fletcherismine thats 1GHZ dual core not 800mhz ,& my sis got note and I only got iphone 4.Note has only good display and massive screen and more features..But iphone 4's perfrmnce is better. IP4 is more responsive when we are doing some comparison when opening apps. Gaming is smoother in IP4 probably because iphone got smaller screen. And theres occasional lagging issue w/ note.I read lots of report of lagging issue in note not only me. Note is an amazing phone but not better. That's a fact.
@Fletcherismine only galaxy S and s2 can match up w/ iphone 4 and 4/s' good performance. And thats factual, coz in our family we got S2,S, IP4,IP4S,Iphone 3gs, Note,Ace,Y, P1000Tab,Galaxy Wonder, ipodtouch 2g and ipodtouch 4g.. And we do some performance comparisons.
There is a bit of lag issues on the GNote considering the size of the screen that I hope could be fixed with ICS. IP4 and GS2 are very responsive probably because of the screen size. I like to play games on the Note and the stylus is awesome in playing games. I kinda hate rubbing my findings on the screen making the screen dirty with my sweat and cause tingling sensation on the tip of my finger especially with the screen guard.

I find it hard it believe someone who says the gs2 is more entertaining than this phone. They have the same os but this has a better screen better features and a the stylus. (s-pen sorry). Also I wouldn't believe someone who says th iPhone is more entertaining. The iPhone is simplistic and user friendly and keeps all your media well organized but these phones does the same thing plus more. It just have a learning curve. A very small learning curve

open source does suck, didn't like it then, certainly don't like it now that im aware of the mobile security flaws it has (i have EVERYTHING on my phone. not worth it). the multiple people that tell me that ICS was way overhyped and is complex and annoying is enough of a source for my "isn't getting any better" claim, adobe dropped support for flash on all future models because it was a flop and compromised browser speed (you're the noob). 10 bucks gets you a new back plate on amazon.

I have the galaxy note and it works like crap, always crashing and sometimes it gets unresponsive, not to mention the weak battery life (despite the fact that is has one of the strongest batteries ever made for smartphones). But even though I'm taking sides with Apple, I've got to admit that it was a nice attempt for Samsung to make a tablet phone, maybe the note 2 will be better (if note 2 will exist).
Yet it was a bad idea to campare an iphone with a tablet phone, totally two different types.

samsung's phone looks good BUT in term of usable internal memory is ONLY a miserable 2 gig thou its stated to have a 16 gig of memory, the rest of the 14gig is use by the phone android OS and Samsung system, if u dont believe me check on the setting on ur Samsung phone... But iphone 16 memory 2 -3gig is for IOS the rest is free for u... in term of boost up why iphone is faster becos iphone doesnt have a xtra memory slot while all android need to read memory slot before going on to main screen...

IP4 is more responsive when we are doing some comparison when opening apps. Gaming is smoother in IP4 probably because iphone got smaller screen. And theres occasional lagging issue w/ note.I read lots of report of lagging issue in note not only me. Note is an amazing phone but not better. That's a fact.

I know the note has a 1.4 cpu, omled HD screen, but whats the point of having such high specs if the phone over heats just after 5 mins of usage.

There is a bit of lag issues on the GNote considering the size of the screen that I hope could be fixed with ICS. IP4 and GS2 are very responsive probably because of the screen size. I like to play games on the Note and the stylus is awesome in playing games. I kinda hate rubbing my findings on the screen making the screen dirty with my sweat and cause tingling sensation on the tip of my finger especially with the screen guard.

I find it hard it believe someone who says the gs2 is more entertaining than this phone. They have the same os but this has a better screen better features and a the stylus. (s-pen sorry). Also I wouldn't believe someone who says th iPhone is more entertaining.
