  • Those shark cats need brackish water (and eventually full salt)...

  • @drgnfrc13 They do not "need" that, they prefer that. Big difference.

  • @SC0TTK1NM4RT1N You're right about one thing; there is a big difference, but the difference is between truth and ignorance. As saltwater fish, they REQUIRE saltwater as mature adults in order to properly maintain homeostasis. By keeping them in freshwater, you are greatly reducing their chance of surviving to their full life expectancy (which for this species, is about 10-15 years)

  • dude that is saltwater

  • @litfuse228 Duuuuude, no it's not.

  • Relaxin' music, whats the song name? Nice fish btw

  • I'm looking into getting a flounder for my tank. Does it get along with the pleco an what About the other bottom swimming fish ant problems?

  • @norcalsav It is not generally recommended to have a lot of bottom dwellers in the same tank. The answer to your question depends on the size of your aquarium. I would suggest mixing up the fish in your tank with top, middle and bottom dwelling fish. Hope that helps.

  • @norcalsav flounders are salt water?

  • @finger11yo There are fresh water flounders my local fish store had them in one time but they were only about an inch. way too small for my tank. They are pretty cool also called tongue fish

  • how fast did it take ur columbian shark to get tht big mine's a baby

  • Mine are six years old, but their growth depends on their diet and habitat.

  • i love your columbian sharks!

  • Thank you sideswipe333. Please check out my other videos, too :)

  • Colombian sharks are one of the few species that can go freshwater, brackish or saltwater.

  • O < M< G Catfishes lol

  • wow all i have is mollies...

  • To the comment below me- all fish are capable of outgrowing their tanks if given food water conditions.

Thats a nice setup but the only fish you have that can tolerate brakish water are the columbian sharks and flounder. Everything else needs freshwater.

  • You're right....I still have some salt in the water that they've slowly acclimated to, but ideally freshwater is best.

  • if u get a small silver shark in a small tank will it stay small or outgrow the tank

  • Even though many believe fish will only grow to the size of their tank, it's not exactly true. They will still grow to their max size, but over a much longer period of time.

  • looks like the big one's fancies that striped one

  • how long did it take for your columbian sharks to grow that big?

  • It took mine approximately 5 years, but it could be much faster in a larger tank and feeding live food.

  • Thet tigris is like expensive. Even aqualand pets plus only has one ghoing for 400 dollars

  • They are VERY expensive!

  • Very is an understatement

  • 2 crowded for 56 gal.

  • I agree. They are in a 125 gallon tank now.

  • awsome, they prob alot happyer lol

  • Check out my 125 gallon tank video

  • it looks good, not over crowded ^.^

  • Hey whats the one bottom right corner at 0:05?

  • False Tigrinus Catfish

  • 0:18

i got 2 of those. a male and a female, they are getting alot of kids... but they eat them all the time so now i started to feed them with real meet bought from the pet store. only took one day to get them addicted to it so now they wont eat regular fish food :s

  • love the jack dempsy srry bought the spelling

  • Close enough :)

  • Wow that looks really nice

  • how big is that Dempsey?

  • Herado are you talking about the pleco?

  • what is the name of the fish that comes near the big fish? i have one of that but don't know the name. (the one that is with columbian sharks)

  • what type of shark is the grey one i think its called mystery shark....can you put those with cichlids?

  • where did u get the flounder

  • are you guys seriously gay enuf to pick on each others writing/English? good god lol

  • Nice.

  • great tank wow i cant belive 220 gallons u gonna add more sharks in the 220 gallon tank

  • 56 gallon?! for chicilids and sharks?

no sir you have the retardation.

  • read the description...duh. hes moving to 220 gallons

  • it says ultimately!

    learn how to read.

not to mention this was almost 3 years ago.

so he may or may not have moved them to the 220 but AT THAT TIME in the 56 gallon tank that is animal cruelty so fuck off and stop being a smart ass if you are going to be an ignorant retard. evidently you have no understanding of the English language. telling me to read? lol what a fool.

  • not to mention he edited it recently and it says they are in only a 125 gallon tank.

  • Hahahaha, I have no understanding of the english language xD I was born here and have allways lived here you dumbass. heres your quote-"no sir you have the retardation" looks like someone didnt pay attention in english class..

why do you have to make this a big deal, atleast now their in a 125 g tank. i agree with what your saying but just disagree with the guy, you dont have to explode...jeeze

ps- I cant speak any language other than english........

  • how do u have an irredescent and the pleco in brackish water???

  • that is what im thinking

  • how is this Animal Cruelty i hate people that think everythings cruelty, obvisosly hes taking great care of them.. good work

  • i couldnt agree more.

  • tigrinus is the best catfish ever

  • Awesome fish but the music brings me down. Lol

  • Nice tank, but a few of the fish will easily outgrow it, especially the Iridescent Shark (can get to more than four feet long!) and it looks like a Shovelnose is there too, the minimum tank size for that is about 180 gallons.

  • lmfao your fucking stupid

  • nice looking jack

  • wat is the striped shark?

  • THEY WILL BE BALA SHARKS I GOT ONE

  • damn how big is that jack dempsey

  • The shark cats are brackish and potentially full marine, they look healthy though, what was that striped characin looking one>/?

  • False Tigrinis Shovelnose Catfish

  • sweet tank i have 2 tanks a 60l and a 35 l

  • that tank is too small for those fish

  • I have a 100 gal with 1/4 of that stocking.

  • That is smart. I now have a 125 gallon for these fish.

  • is that a 2 bridgid spot and shark cat fish????

  • False Tigrinus (shovelnose) Catfish...VERY expensive!

  • A 56 gallon tank is not nearly large enough to accomodate that many large fish. With those fish, you should at least have a 200 gallon tank.

  • Thanks for stating the obvious. Well, they're in a 125 gallon tank for now.

  • Ony fish I recognized was the catfish, pleco and grupor.
