We get enough rain fall that I don't worry about watering the roses. But if you have to just water the perennials as you normally would and that should take care of the roses. Keep in mind roses don't like wet feet and infrequent deep watering is best.

If the leaves feel soggy you've over-watered. Give them tough love!
