Why isn't Synchro an Olympic sport?!?! It couldn't get any more athletic! I used to skate synchro for a masters team and boy, has it come a long way since then. After watching this, I certainly miss it. I, too, quit because of health related reasons.

O man, the step sequence at :49 is amazeing! A really great footwork sequence can make you stop breathing while you're lost in the movement and the music...and that is one of them.

really, yeah me too. thats awesome! i skate at the skating club of boston but i never did synchro there cuz even though the synchro coach Becky Stump is supposedly well know, i didnt think she was very good. Doreen was deffinately amazing and im hoping I can skate again next year! what team were you on?

i do synchro but i had to stop this year b/c i started hs this year and my new school is far from my house, so there was no time for practices. Doreen Trumpman Trunfio was my coach last year and I was going to be on her novice Ice Cubes team this year. When you get to higher levels like that, how hard does it get to balance school with skating?

I believe the teams are either first or second in their respective nations. I saw Sweden 1, Finland 1 & 2, USA 1 & 2, Russia 1, and maybe also a Canadian or German team. Also, this montage spans about 3 years of programs.

Synchro isn't an olympic sport yet, so none of these skaters have ever been to the Olympics. But, all the teams shown came in the top 7 at their respective world championships (whatever year the video is from)
