yes very sad but keep in mind, that many of those children if given the chance, would stay only long enough to steal from you and run back to the street. To many, its too late.

@gonaive I have to disagree with this comment, i have been to africa and have worked with street children who were given a similar chance like this, they were given beds and shown love. Many of them just want a sense of belonging and family(who doesnt!) The street children i worked with would never steal from the family who gives them clothes food, love , shelter. When shown respect and love , you would be surprised how people can change. the boys i worked with were not forced to stay t

@gonaive they are given a choice free to go if they want and they have not stolen once. They respect the help they are given and they know if they steal they would never be allowed back ... so many people think the worst first but u have to remember these are just children and its never to late! people jsut give up to fast on these children and that is the problem with the street children not the children themselves ... people need to stop putting a bad label on these kids
