I was aboard my ship moored out in Ferguson's Cove and that fire is brutal... this fire is the reason why we came back to dock tonight, because we had to abort trials due to the shore facility in that area being evacuated. Last I know right now is that the fire is still burning away uncontrolled... I'll get a better look in the water tomorrow when out on the upper decks again, when we take off to the harbour approaches .
That fire spread something sickly fast (watched from 44.610207, -63.538914)... it spread from (44.609626,-63.566079) to at least (44.593034, -63.549128) within 90 minutes earlier when it started. You are lucky to get out of that mess.

i think its the fire departments fulit for the 2nd fire that stared in the same place because they did not check it over night or the next day

Just so People know this area here is closer to the Dingle by Williams lake rd, So it was no where near the heart of the fire.
