It's original title is "The Funeral". But... "Il Silenzio" ~ yeah, that works too.

@BIGMUDDYDOG ~ NO! Changing THE NAME of someone else's piece, in this case one by Ennio Morricone DOES NOT change the composer. The name 'The Funeral' (AND IT IS IDENTICAL to 'Il silenzio') OBVIOUSLY was not thought appropriate as the title of a potential hit single in the Italian, or any other charts.

On said single, in very small print, it should say: (Morricone) or (E.Morricone)

Otherwise, ENNIO SHOULD BE SUING FOR ROYALTIES

As a teenager in the 60's, I listened to this song ( played on CKLW out of Detroit) on many summer nights with my boyfriend. It evokes sweet memories. It was one of the few 45's that I had, and I still have it. Thanks for sharing.

Ich habe mir die Melodie aus einem Satz für Trompete und Klavier herausgezogen. Da ich von Trompete keine Ahnung habe, spiele ich das in B-Dur auf Querflöte und C-Tenor-Blockflöte. Blockflöte paßt nicht ganz. Das hört sich zu feierlich an. Aber auf Querflöte klingt das ganz edel. Welches Instrument spielst Du? MfG von Eckart.

Hi girly, ich habe auch Trompete gespielt.Lang ist´s her. Hatte und habe keine Noten Kentnisse. (Per Griffe: 1= 1Ventil 12=1+2 Ventil usw.)

Andere und dieses SUPER Stück habe ich per Gehör so nachgeschrieben.
