  • my friends died in a tragic shooting at chardon high school in Ohio!! keep in prayers please!!

  • This song means more to me now especially after a breast cancer scare. Please ladies, I can not stress enough we must do monthly self exams and have mamograms yearly.

  • My best friend and soul sister of over 20 years passed away with all of her family by her side in 2009 from lung cancer. A few days before, when we knew it was happening, this song played in my car on the way home. This song describes what she went through in so many ways. I still miss her every day. Thank you Melissa for such a beautiful song, written straight from the heart and soul.

  • She wrote this song about her experience with Chemotherapy. She is saying goodbye the woman she knew during the treatments. When you are receiving treatments they take over and you absolutely feel like where the heck did the woman (or man) I knew go? You get to see that person for maybe 2 days a week right before another treatment takes place and the sick frail person takes over again. It was not that she was actually "passing away". (hope that makes sense) ;)

  • we love you adam miller :(

  • written while she was in Chemotherapy. Truly a song from the heart. Very humbling.

  • when she sings..."I shaved off all my fear" is she talking about her hair during her chemo treatment? Just curious as to what others think. Every time I listen to this song I think of that!

  • we never got the chance to say 'goodbye' to mike, who was taken from us in a very brutal way. I know he's still with us because he has some unfinished business to take care of before he leaves. this song gives me great comfort. Thank you, Melissa, with all my heart.

  • From the moment we got here we were always afraid of staying goodbye because we don't remember.

  • @ hrhcamila - you did well. thank you for your time and effort. good tidings to you and yours. Love One Another

  • I hold much happiness and pain in my heart but one things for sure, wherever I go, what ever I do... this song will come with me!

  • I have always had a strong connection to all of Melissa's music. But this one and precious pain are the two that I love the most. Funny how this one was released around the same time my Momma was in hospice. She passed knowing she was going to be able to hold her first born again, and dance with her Daddy again

  • i lost a dear dear friend to lymphoma last week and my mum last year. They both believed that it isn't goodbye... and they are right. May they both rest in peace. Much love

  • This song is such a powerful song! The first time I heard it I cried like a baby. I have used this as a personal mantra. I don't take people for granted and I try to make things right. Cause you do not know when you may not be able to say Goodbye! I also have it written in my living will that it is to be played when I am being laid in the grown as well as at my rosary!

  • We played this at my daughters funeral,i love th think it is her saying daddy dont cry im OK

  • played this song at my dad's funeral song is beautiful
