One of the best animes I've ever watched - an engaging plot, well fleshed-out characters that are clearly distinct from each other, great animation, an awesome soundtrack, and unique presentation - this anime has it all. A pity that nobody seems to know about it. People who haven't watched it yet should!

It's stupid how everyone is watching only the mainstream animes. Occasionally some more weird and good animes pop up and catch on like Haruhi Suzumiya no yuutsu. That also makes it harder to find these more weird but good animes... Also these animes often have the strangest names, so you skip them without thinking back. It was just pure luck I came here and watched the trailer.

Baccano's only drawback was there wasn't enough of it. Still awesome though.

@ChurchOfMe93 I don't know; I think it's so good because they ended it after 13 episodes (plus 3 more). The result was pure gold. There was no filler anywhere, unlike most series that have filler in order to hit the standard 26-episode series limit.

However, I have also heard of what the manga is doing, and kinda wish I could see Claire Stanfield take on pirates in anime form like he does in the manga--at 90 years old.

@Evellion Baccano! is better then Bleach. It has a plot, many characters that are developed at the degree where you can separate them from each other by motivation and looks. And the most important, it has an end.

Bleach lacks proper plot, character motivation and the more it drags on every new character boy or girl smells of Aizen. Bleach was good until they saved Rukia for the first time. Now, its a comedy genre that ridicules it self by it's existence.
