best world series, great players, best yankees core team i can put together (1998-2003) and im a phillies fan and this world series was awesome, the scores and drama just cool as fuck, yankees in the world series after 9/11 had to have boosted the moral of the city and even tho they lost in 7 they deserved to win game 3-4-5 in the way they won the games too.
im not a yankees fan at all...and i can't stand that team, but i was happy for jeter there, and i still get chills when i see this highlight...and at the same time i couldn't help but feel sorry for byung hyun kim, especially after the next game
@bvestationfan Enrique Wilson was scheduled to take a certain flight back home to the Dominican Republic, but the Yankees lost so he left a few days early. The flight he was originally going to take crashed after takeoff and killed everybody on board. The Yankees loss was a blessing in disguise.
Possibly his most memorable hr!! Idk could be tough!! #3000 hit was a hr? Damn Jeter is the best shortstop in the history of baseball! Was at the game when #3000 hit!! Jeter! You rock!
@metzdawg3000 they were going nuts you dip shit. and i don't see how you have any room to be talking because the red sox only have seven world series rings and the yankees have TWENTY SEVEN. the proof is in the rings bitch... the yanks are 20 times better than the red sox. proven fact.
@metzdawg3000 No, the yankee stadium is just used to amazing things like this happened. you "BoSox" fans get hype over anything good because you suck.
In response to ExclusiveLM: It was all pure luck. I think somebody said something about being midnight and I shot it on the clock. Then when I zoomed out, I wanted a pitch on video where I got the pitcher and batter in the shot together and got lucky. It happened a couple years ago in Pittsburgh. I said I'll get an at bat on video and thought it would be funny if it was a Home Run so I shot Albert Puljos. Sure enough, he hit it out. Pure Luck.
how the hell did the guy that shot this video know the precise pitch in which to zoom out. The video shows a close-up of Jeter the entire time. Then the zoom out as the home run is delivered. Also, this clip shows the precise moment that the score board said Welcome to November baseball. Shit, what a brilliant video.
You were there? Badass man I live in Georgia i've only managed to get to go one yankees game and let me say there's nothing quite like it. You're a very lucky man.
This is absolutely stunning, great job and thank you for this!!! If you or anyone knows where to watch Scotty Brosius and his game 5 blast...please please let me know, MLB has that hidden away somewhere! Great video!
damn look how his batting stance has changed! hes not so "jittery" now. its more relaxed and the bat is lower now...maybe if he goes back to this he will bring his average out of the .266 gutter he is in
anyway amazing vid! one of my favorite moments...possibly my fave
i love how he is mr november, yet his career batting average in november is under .200. signature jeter homerun here, inside outs it to right and it clears the fence by one and a half feet
@adembroski because he hit a walk off homer and won the game just a few minutes after midnight november 1st... im a mets fan and i know that you dumbass
