  • HOW ABOUT THEM IN FREAKIN TEMPE AT LONG WONG'S REMEMBER THAT SHIT...

  • WHO DARES DISLIKE THE REFRESHMENTS!?!?

  • Have bout the cassette twice and buying the cd for the third or fourth time. Guilty of wearing the crap outta this album

  • These are not The refreshments..????they have niked The refeshments namethe refreshments have been going for years and years...a law suit here i think../

  • @jenleex It's well known that there are two bands called "The Refreshments" well

there were two... the US refreshments are no longer so no lawsuit. lol.

  • This is not a virus! Just a great song!

  • I was at a party of RCPM fanatics in Glendale right before May '07 Circus Meximus. The owner of the house had just bought Brian Blush's gold Les Paul from somewhere. The same guitar in this video and the other MTV videos here.

  • @dbeasleyphx I'm sure that was Brians Goldtop but it was not the original one from the Refreshments video.

The Goldtop he had in 2007 was a 1960 reissue. My friend Matt and I were his guitar techs. I've changed out some pickups in that guitar and did more that one set up on it. Most notable thing about that guitar is that he had me put a "duncan designed" pick up in it because the original pickup was too harsh for his rig. I'd love to know who owns it now. Shoot me a message sometime.

  • Wow, I was actually at this concert, and it makes me feel old. lol Great song and was a great band to see live.

  • Don't feel old. Our generation will never be old. Our music is too cool to allow aging.

  • @hollywoodartchick I agree, people need to stop complaining, I'm 15 and I wish I was old enough to see my favourite bands live. :P

  • @leetfukk - I felt the same way when I was 15 - I was not interested in the crummy music that they tried to force down our throats. I think the best music of every generation is not the Top-40 anyway, but the stuff that someone put enough love into that they stayed individuals instead of commodities. Rock on, bro.

  • Roger Clyne and tha peacemakers are excellente' too!!!!!!! his voice has matured

  • Check out all my classic arizona video documentaries on joelsamuelpresents over 700 of them for you to watch.

  • Great Song. I Love the 90s.

  • If y'all have not been - make the journey with Roger & Peacemakers to ROcky Point - been quite a few times and incredible weekends and the show is non stop and the next breakfast concert. Its actually coming up.

IF YOU CAN MAKE IT - Bean recommends it.

    just google ROger CLyne Peacemakers

  • Miss those days of long wongs....

  • these guys are one of a kind

  • wooo old school!!!

  • check out Art Edwards (bassist for The Refreshment) on tour with a full band in suppport of his first solo record "Songs From Memory"! Tour dates below:

Mar 25 -- Smith's Olde Bar, Atlanta, GA

Mar 27 -- The End, Nashville, TN

Mar 30 -- The Abbey Pub -- Chicago, IL

  • I love this band. I have been listening to their Fizzy Fuzzy cd for the last 10 years. It's so worn out because it's awsome. If you don't have this cd, it is a must have. Its so good, every song is awsome!

  • @sarahbearah0123 i totally agree with this entire comment. it's an f___ing awesome album. they're probably known as a one hit wonder band, but i don't think that's fair to say if you haven't heard this album. every song on it rocks!

  • "Fizzy, Fuzzy..." is such a great CD. Love this stuff! Wish I could have seen them back in the day.

  • Rodger Cline still tours with "rodger cline and the peacemaker" very worth seeing

  • dont flatter yourself you know i dont think that much of your... girlfriend

  • One of the few bands that put out albums that can be listened to all the way through. Reunion!

  • My Favorite band of all time. Too bad they split. Roger Clyne has a great voice, and the back up guitar is second to none. Thanks for the great post :)

  • Roger was the "back-up" Guitar.

Brian Blush was the Lead Player and is

    a phenominal talent.

  • yeah that's what I meant kinda. Brian Blush(Gin Blossoms) backed up a great singer doing rifts and solo's throughout almost every song the Refreshments did.

  • not Gin Blossoms, but close It was August Red.also played with Reighn Kings for awhile.

  • Haha....Gin Blossoms who???Roger is still going strong you can follow the Gin Blossoms down to oblivion.

  • Hey, Gin Blossoms, Refreshments and Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers are all equally awesome.

  • @nhadsall I always loved the guitar sound on those refreshments albums. Brian blush is w/ a band out of nashville called the toluenes. they aint bad. Got a song w/him called her way or the highway.

  • @b1skol95 you know they didn't split they just changed there name to Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers. They are stil playing tons of shows and sound better than ever. They play a show once a year down in Puerto Penasco Mexico and dlike 2 500 people come out and its a huge festival

  • @KananAngel94 I actually know most of the peacemakers music, and their line up is different than that of the Refreshments. There is no way the lead guitarist from the Refreshments is playing with the peacemakers

  • @b1skol95 True, when the Refreshments split, Brian did not join Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers.

Brian Blush is currently with a band called The Toluenes based out of Nashville.

  • @KananAngel94 Roger Cline and PH Nafah are the only members that were in The Refreshments that are in RCPM. Art "Buddy" Edwards is now a writer based out of Oregon that has put out two great books.

Brian is currently the lead guitar player with "The Toluenes" based out of Nashville.

  • One of the few bands that sounded the same live, as they do in the studio.

    I love it.

  • This song IS anybody/everybody's life. I could teach a class on the symbolism! There is more truth in FFB&B's songs than in many religions.

  • Hee! A little over the top, but great comment nevertheless.

  • Where the hell did you find this gem?

  • It used to be posted at nemo's goodies but I think the site is dead, I posted it with permission from my good friend Brian Blush.

  • You know Brian Blush! Awesome. He is one of my all time favorite guitarists! What is he doing these days?

  • He's in South Bend Indiana playing Cheers tonight! At MY Bar, I am so excited!

  • Katie, Just tell him that Neil in AZ said HI, that would blow his mind. lol.

We keep in touch by text and phone but somebody going up to him out of the blue and saying my name... Priceless... lol.

  • he plays in indiana w/my cusin shaun doty

    i got to meet brian

he used to live with my cusin too

  • Hell yes! Mekong is possibly their best song.

  • Somebody should make a vid for Mekong
