Its the same count musicians use while playing sweety... Research is a good thing, hopefully now you understand the count of Salsa. I've been to Europe and back for the past 12 yrs and they count exactly the same... Hope this helped xoxoxo

strange count. Is it only in america this kind of counting? That is what I do not like. In europe it is different count, why it is so?

in most european countires, they count the Power2 style. 234-678.

I mean on 1 - left step ahead on styling and partnerwork on 1- right step behind.
The count here is NY salsa step which is confusing for me
