  • Okay,Im getting sick of this.Y must people bash Jesus? What has He ever done 2 you? He doesn't force people to become His followers; He gave everyone the free will to chose whatever they want to believe,so y?What terrible thing did He do anyway? Also,I understand that you don't believe in God, and many people have said to me,"Well, if there is a God, than why doesn't He show Himself?"Have you ever bothered to look?Read the Bible, and youll c what I mean.Everything written is coming true..God Bless

  • They don't mention RELIGION as a cause? What the?

  • This is1 of those stories atheists exploit to bash religion, especially Christianity. In reality this has nothing to do with religion and everything to do with fear mongering for money, something atheists do here in America, with religion as their witch.Yet it's Christians and Christian groups, like "Our House," which is helping to rescue children from this abuse. Atheists, in the meantime, are safely back home doing nothing but shaking their heads and pretending to be superior to the religious.

  • @ChristianMission higher percentage of atheists offer help than do christians. There might be more christians doing this stuff, but thats only because, what? 83% of people in the USA are christians?

  • I, for one, love religion.

Crazy shit like this is super entertaining.

  • This is why I despise christianity. They stole everything from the Pagans and then twisted everything around and claimed that we are the evil ones. All christianity is is a cult bent on world domination. In reality, it is the most myopic religion ever created. They have idiots like Michele Bachmann and Pat Robertson who claim that they are the voice of 'god', when its clear that they are talkin out they ass.

  • @KurokageAkuma Thanks for speaking the truth!

  • @TheMysticDruid Blessed Be.

  • And Christians in the US say that all the witchcraft hunts are over....

  • @DuykRuyk Not if the bastard Pat Robertson has any 'say' in it

  • @KurokageAkuma lolz, a funny.

  • *sigh* The Christians are at it again ..

  • Blame everything but not religion...fucking cunt abc, they may aswell join the pastors for that denial.

  • Another scam in the name of Jesus... this is an old story.

  • A difference in beliefs is always at the root of some misunderstanding. Some people are just to stubborn to open their mind to the different thoughts another is having.

  • this is why i am an atheist over and over again i see priests pastors ect.. doing something horrible or dumb in the name of Jesus.i just hope some of those people are intelligent enough to realize that man is a prick.

  • Q: "Why is this happening?"

    A: Religion

  • Your statement about discrimination was non-sequitor if it was discrimination in africa then the church supports discrimination. Its not that hard to follow. We Americans do some pretty stupid stuff too. What is being done in Africa is clearly an attack from the church and the church is corrupt because its about the money. Case closed.

  • You missed the picture africa has always been a place of voodoo. And as long as the church is still around things like this will continue to happen. It is happening now in our country. They barely passed legislation to allow wiccans to serve while wearing the pentagram or pentacle. So it is becaue of the church that these things happen before that there was discrimination against us in the ranks.

  • And one more thing if it wernt for us Pagans there wouldnt be any of your sacred holidays like christmass. Look at the significance of Yule and compare it with Cristmass. And Halloween today is a far cry from what it was back then. Yes it is a Druid holliday of remembering our ancestors. This is the time when we would walk to a special river where we would spread ashes on the water. But here comes Christianity and distorts the whole blasted thing. From what was ancestral rememberance is now evil

  • Please give us pagans a break. what else do you want to do in the name of your god? burn us at the stake? you guys burn our sacred groves, tell lies about us, and descriminate against us. You say we are in leage with satan even though we dont believe in satan. And as for our sacrifices what about your crusades? how many people have you guys killed over a city?! Im sure your bible justifies that though...if so prove it!!!

  • @TheMysticDruid Not sure if your trolling. If you aren't. You're saying sacrificing whatever you sacrifice is fine because there were crusades? They're both stupid. And who brought paganism in anyway?

  • @raydredX Paganism has been around since the begining of time we believed that there was something special about the universe we didnt need anyone to tell us so. And such is the law of the universe the balance of life must be kept. Consider it bowrrowing. You borrow money and in time you have to give back such is life were there is death there is life and the other way around. When we make sacrifices it is out of faith and thanksgiving. The crusades were meaningless.

  • @TheMysticDruid Sacrifices of what first of all? If it's something like lives. Then your stealing from others and earning something for yourself. If that's how it works, ok...

I still don't understand what paganism has to do this whether it started at the begining of time of or not.

  • @raydredX Im just mad that there are still persecutions. Cant anyone let people live by themselves with there own views on religion and life? And why take it out on children. The/your church is screwing things up. You guys want us to turn and yet you killing and torturing us...do you really think thats they way to go? Im just sick of these things going on.

  • @TheMysticDruid I doubt the children were pagan. They were probably into the same religion as the parents if they were old enough to understand that.

And why the "you"? What group "you" am I supposed to belong to?

Anyway in developed countries discrimination of any kind is usually worked on, in Africa they do stupid stuff very often.

  • this is nothing about religion...its about these "pastors" asking money to perform exorcisms. its pure greed....

  • "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live...Suffer the children" Jesus said it...

  • Yeah, Jesus totally wouldn't be unhappy seeing someone torturing children in his name to score a few bucks.

  • "dark eyes or a big belly"? Isn't a huge belly a sign of extreme starvation? Nice going, government idiots.

  • @scetril Yes, yes it is. Those idiot pastors need to be replaced with doctors.

  • wow the damn pastors over there or whatever they are just frame kids for witchcraft just so they get paid extra money yo wtf is that ur abusing children , thats a shame!

  • This is why I hate Extremists. I can shrug off 911, but the Witch Burnings is what gets to me. Say I'm horrible but it just can't be helped.

  • @turbofritzz

    Yep. Pretty much.

  • Christianity is a cancer of the world. If african would have turned their back on Christ and Allah they would develop much better.

Islam and Christianity are slave religions of shame sins and barbarity as you see in this video as well. Children cannot develop under such conditions.

  • @turbofritz2

I absolutely agree, but religion is only one part of this--Congo is a traumatized country.

  • @quantumechanick Yeah i do agree Christianity is only one part.

second part is taking pride in your culture and denying the dollar and denying to take up loans from the international community.

The Christian culture does not belong in Africa neither in Europe.

African were egyptain paganist. The jews and christian have corrupted the old culture.

Just like the christians did in Europe. Christianity does NOT belong to europe!

  • @turbofritz2 no its people who use their religon in the wrong way that is toxic. In this case yeah its wront but my beleifs within its self isnt wrong.

  • @tristaneAlexandria There is proof whatever for Allah or Jehova.

Africa (just like Europe, my homeland) had pagan gods way before Islam and Christianity came in. Christianity and Islam is just made for some fearfull people afring aid off hell and wanting to recive gifts from above from Santa.

Christinity and Islam has been used politicaly to exploit people and children. Both of these primitive religion premit hitting children and women.

  • @turbofritz2 not here to argue just saying that not all muslims, christians, jews or anyone who have religous belefs are toxic or that their religon is inately toxic. its people that misuse it that make it toxic. This isnt to start a debate.

  • @tristaneAlexandria plus if I'm not shoving my beleifs down your throat like people claim religous people do (not saying that I'm religous) I'd expect others to not do the same.

  • @tristaneAlexandria yeah there are lots of follower (sheeps and slaves) and few preachers and autoritarians who manipulate.

  • @tristaneAlexandria Absolutly no proof for Allah or Jehova or Jesus having any divinity over him. It's ridiculous autoritatian, primitive and blood sucking.

In the old testament the bibe tells about lots of sacrifice of innocent animals for God.

Jesus came as the ultimate Blood sacrifice to clense "sins" from us.

Who the fuck needs that? My life is fucking awesome - I'm my own autority.

  • @tristaneAlexandria tell me something good that a religion can do that a secular institution cannot. Then tell me something evil that only religion can do. I forgot who said it but this quote just kicked you in the brain

  • @bajorjor1 Theres evil that anything can do equally. Anything used incorrectly can cause distruction. All I'm saying is not all people who practice a religon are bad or toxic THATS what my first comment said. I dont understand why youre all attacking me. I'm not here to prove God exists or condem anyone or argue. I just dont like somone writing off all people who beleive something because of extremists that go off the deep end.

  • @tristaneAlexandria then tell me when unicef will be burning child witches. You were quick to wash your hands for christianity pretty quick.

  • @bajorjor1 "you were quick to wash your hands for christianity" I never said my spiritual views were christian. I'm a Unitarian Universalist and not that that even matters. You were talking about religon as a whole being evil and like I said before I was merely stating that its people who misuse their belifs that are bad the their faith itsself. Like I said I'm not here to argue. I'm just saying you shouldnt generalize.

  • @tristaneAlexandria unitarian universalist lol branding yourself and not generalizing the irony oh the irony

  • Suffer not a witch to live - The Bible says they are doing nothing wrong.

  • christans are retarted !

  • bring me his head ....

    -king

  • IS THIS NOT THE CONGO? THE REAL PEOPLE TO BLAME FOR THIS ARE THOSE WHO KILLED PATRICE LUMUMBA AND PLUNGED THIS COUNTRY INTO THIS DEPLORABLE MESS. It is a pity we now stand aside in judgement of the so-called pastor. He is nothing but the epitome of ruthless capitalism. Do and say anything that will maximize your profits. He is a capitalist!

  • @ksnewuh Actually, the one's to blame are the ones who spread Christianity to these people.

  • what a sick perv!

  • This is sick. Jesus would NOT smile on this man. This is NOT how Jesus casted out demodes................... This is disturbing! Jesus would not be happy with him.

  • poor babies :(

  • actually guys, pay attention, this video doesn't show anything at all. It shows no child abuse. Too graphic to show? or made up to bash the truth. exorcism is real, and in a nation of voodoo of course people become possessed. if you dont speak his language then don't trust some voice dub on 1 man and make assumptions on entire truths. Your brains have been turned upside down. Angry athiests. For all you know he never asked for money once you cant understand his words.

  • @exploittruth Are you, in the 21st century, seriously supporting the idea that demons are the cause of such things as disease, mental disorders or childrens bad behavior? Science has pretty conclusively demonstrated that micro-organisms are the cause of disease and that mental and behavioral problems are caused by chemical imbalance, brain abnormality, environmental influence, etc... but no evidence for the existence of demons has ever passed peer review.

    Wake up!

  • @Qillz Don't feed the trolls.

  • This video is shows the insanity of mankind only slightly clearer than the comment section. This "pastor" is obviously a con man, liar and pagan. Yet, according to most of you, he exemplifies what Christianity is all about. Amazing!

News Flash: Not everyone who invokes the name of Jesus is a Christian. The Westboro Baptists are not Christian. Money hustlin pastors are NOT Christian. Shake&bake spirit channelers are NOT Christians. The Koran burner,NOT a Christian.Read the Bible, do a lil research

  • Religion brought by Christian fundamentalist leads to this madness! Bibles and hate is the main export of Christian fundamentalist to Congo, Uganda and other African nations.

"Mankind shall not be free until the last king is strangled in the entrails of the last priest."

    — Denis Diderot

  • Stupid stupid stupid

  • I banged my head on the keyboard when I heard "stealing their step sister's blood to use to fly at night".

  • 0:58 in, stupid organised religion. The Church once again praying on the poor uneducated masses.

  • You will know a true follower of Jesus by the love and patience they show, the Holy spirit does not work by twirling kids around you, it works by prayer and supplication, obviously the man is just using people faith for money but Jesus is exposing him thanx to this report, we are not perfect so don't down the faith in Jesus once aging down the peolpe or person using it as a scam. thats why Jesus came to allow people to have a personal relation with God not trusting men, all men are not good men

  • Some people chomp at the bit to vainly attempt to curse G_D! And he is using a shirt with an un-true depiction of Jesus to make his claims! And no one got real crazy with the whole Jim Jones episode or with any other so called "Cult". People tend to zero in on one target and call it a day!

  • These people are insane. This is what happens when people are allowed to remain uneducated. They are too stupid to know what they are being told is complete and utter bullshit.

  • @MakeLove2011NotWar

you're talking about the news reporters right? because this video is a perfect example of how news media in the US twists the truth for profit. just because our culture condemns witchcraft doesn't mean that other cultures do as well. In fact its been well documented that accusations of witchcraft (or of sorcery, of being cursed, of casting the evil eye, etc.) occur routinely in many societies and serve the same function as accusations of mental illness do in ours.

  • Can we invade them? Please? I want to see these people executed.

  • Dont blame religion or god, blame these money hungry fake pastors and the negligent parents.

  • All in the name of God.......

  • i'm trying to do that at 1:20

  • Maybe the child has a big belly because he's hungry and his poor belly is swollen. Why don't these parents wake up and smell the bullsh*t?? This guy laughed when asked about taking money to supposadely help little kids out and then turns around and ask the interviewer for money. That says right there he is phony! I don't blame religion-I blame asses like him and bin Laden that use money as a way to do their greedy, dirty deeds!

  • Religion is disgusting

  • Lol...Witches and Jesus? How does that work out together?

African Religions are fucked up, to say the least. They don't know what the hell peaceful Religion is... It's sad to see that these people think this as Witchcraft. They don't even know what Witch means, like many people.

  • Ok blood = flying....I'm there dude.

  • wtf....

  • Number one reason why religion is harmful. Its a tool that gives the corrupt and the desperate the power to control the scared, uneducated masses. Instead of sending religion to these areas we need to send educators to teach these poor people how to think critically and learn a bit on how the world really works so maybe the can turn their countries around so they don't have to resort to primitive superstitions and ideas to get through the day.

  • This is so fucking distgusting.

  • The only evil here people, is religion. Religions are bad, remember that. You are god, not some person above or some stupid priest wich you call "father".. be free and think with your mind.

  • Ok and think about this. How many freaking times has the media lied? ALWAYS! And instead of them covering how corrupt and evil and FRAUDULANT government is, they go find a story in the jungle somewhere. How about they do a piece how they have no idea what the truth is and they only do what their told.. Atleast it would be the truth for once..

  • @kidjr27

Stop being so analpained you religous faggot

Deal with it, we hate you, and your a faggot

  • Hear me out for a sec ppl. Notice how the media put the illusion in your head of people just going out of the blue to get cleansed of demons because a preacher told them they had witch like desires.. Now, what didn't you see or hear? Are you assuming that all these people are complete idiots? The thing is, there are forces and dimensions, and all kinds of knowledge kept from us by the watchers. Did you ever think maybe it's we the tv watchers that are the brainwashed zombies? Yes, most are.

  • @kidjr27 yeah i agree, uneducated witch doctors in africa know better

  • Sarah Palin had an exorcism done on her against witch craft. Stupid people exist.

  • religion is about consolidation of power. this is exactly what you see here. preachers abuse children and make their parents pay for it... bloodsuckers of the poor.

  • Dogma drives you crazy.

  • One more reason to do away with religion altogether. You think this is bad, Christians? Read your holy book. This is nothing compared to the shit your god endorses and commands.

  • This is your brain on religion.

  • @josenros So you have proof religion isn't real? Humans are fucking stupid don't blame religion for it.

  • @UndercoverCracker Who said religion "isn't real?" Of course it's real; that's why we have to worry so much about it. And why would someone not blame humans for their religious behavior? Religion is a man-made phenomenon; it doesn't exist independently of human brains.

  • @josenros And you know this how. :) You don't. Humans will behave badly with or without religion. That is what a lot of humans have done through the ages. Pervert everything we touch and never learn from it.

  • @UndercoverCracker I resent you speaking about our species in that tone of voice. Religious and nonreligious humans have done reprehensinble things, therefore religion is true? Is that really the gist of your argument? You don't think different belief system influence human behavior differently? There is a clear and logical path between religion and the committing of atrocities. Atheists commit atrocities when they substitute god for another form of worship.

  • @josenros No that is not the gist of my argument you twat. I simply am saying you can't make religion out to be evil just because some people pervert it. Humans commit atrocites, period. It won't ever change.

  • @UndercoverCracker Religion is a catch-all for religious behavior. Are you saying that it exists independently of people, and that it becomes adulterated only upon their touch? That's like someone saying, "Look, football isn't really a violent sport! Violent footballers adulterate it! Plus, non-footballers can be violent too..." Critical Thinking 101.

  • @josenros Football is a shitty sport but on another note I was trying to say that crazy people will find something they can easily use for their crazy motives no matter what it is. Is that easier for you to understand?

  • @UndercoverCracker Yes, and I'm saything that different belief systems potentiate different kinds of motives. If I believed in the Evil eye and that you were casting spells on me, I'd be more inclined to burn your crops than if I believed in, say, the works of David Hume, Galileo, and Spinoza.

  • @UndercoverCracker Your argument: Don't blame religion for people acting crazily, people will be that way regardless.

Mr argument: Crazy behaviors are modifiable and preventable. Let's minimze crazy behaviors by teaching people to think critically.

  • @josenros There are plenty of religous people who can think very critically. Do you just not want to admit that? You CANNOT always modify and prevent crazy behaviors. There is true evil in the world or do you not want to accept that either?

  • @UndercoverCracker

"There are plenty of religous people who can think very critically." Yes, except in regards to the cosmos, the origin of man, his place in the universe, and the physical order of reality.

"Do you just not want to admit that?" Gladly! Some religious people think critically some of the time.

"You CANNOT always modify and prevent crazy behaviors." This is called the Nirvana Fallacy. The purpose is not to eradicate "crazy" behaviors, but to reduce them as much as possible.

  • @josenros What just because you don'tagree on the origin of man? Besides I know people who are religous and still believe in evolution. Why would evolution disprove a God in the first place. You can't always reduce crazy behaviors even a little either. We know barely anything as a species about our universe so this is why I will never leave any possibility out like some people...

  • @UndercoverCracker You didn't address a thing I wrote. We are talking about whether different ideologies give rise to or potentiate different kinds of behaviors, and whether it is possible to reduce irrational behaviors by teaching people to think critically.

" this is why I will never leave any possibility out..." In that case, I hope you also leave open the possibility of Bigfoot, FSM, magix pixie dust, Russel's Teapot, and the Chupacabra, since they're all epistomoligically equal.

  • @josenros This is why I will not address your question (over youtube) because you are obviously a little nuts if you think you can compare pixies to Christianity. We are wasting time here are we not.

  • scum tainting a new generation

  • Iit deeply troubles me both that such things are being done in the name of Jesus Christ.

Greedy Men who see an opportunity to manipulate peoples pre-existing & deeply entrenched belief in witchcraft, performing exorcisms or some other 'service' for profit are evil. And more so where the lives of children are involved. Such men are not ministers of the gospel, they are wicked men without conscience, frauds and liars actively deceiving people for personal gain.

  • @Keruaran That's exactly the kind of reaction I expect when the proof is in the video for any rational person to see and its no wonder that people are abandoning your insane cult religion to worship The Gods of Olympus, the true rulers of the universe, and someday every church across the world will have a temple to The Olympians standing in its place and then this insanity with Christianity will finally be over

  • @ericgrant2010 That wasn't even a good troll.

  • @Keruaran Unlike your violent and evil god, at least My Gods, The Greek Gods who forever reside in glory atop Mount Olympus, are real and dont threaten people with eternal damnation if people dont worship them because they love humanity. Your Jesus fable is nothing but a pathetic attempt to rip off the story of how Hercules was the son of a god and a human, did good deeds in life, and was raised from death by Zeus and made a full god on Olympus. You Christians cant even be original in anything

  • @ericgrant2010 Sorry I can't take Zeitgeist fanboy's seriously. Fact checking is just not something you're into.

  • @Keruaran Im proud to be a loyal worshipper of The Greek Gods and I pity you Christians over the fact that you're all too blinded by your own religious arrogance to see that your god is a myth and one you insist on perpetuating but go ahead and knock yourselves out because Christianity is on the decline anyway and more people are turning to The Olympians every day. People want to worship real gods that actually care about humanity and any great magician can duplicate those so-called ''miracles''

  • @ericgrant2010 Troll some more Zorba.

  • @Keruaran You can have your imaginary god and the schitzophrenic nut who claimed to be his son and all that other Bible bullshit because your whole religion is full of ideas and rituals stolen from other religions from the past so this exchange is over. Give my regards to Hades when you arrive in the Underworld someday and maybe you can play poker with your beloved Jesus in Tartarus

  • @ericgrant2010 No, no, you did that already. A good troll is witty enough not to need to keep repeating the same thing.

  • This makes me so sad.

  • WARNING

All hungry, poor or homeless persons are possessed by daemons and should be eliminated ASAP. This way we can preserve our wonderful system of fractional reserve banking, fiat currencies, religious manipulation, endless wars, death and suffering. So just remember next time homeless person asks you for help kick them in the head but make sure you dont make any skin or eye contact because the demon will infect you.

This message has been brought to you by your Government & Money God.

  • @CerrunosStudio So you would ban missionaries that provide the desperately needed resources and trained individuals? You seem to be saying all missions are useless and yet we missionaries save lives, don't so readily accuse Christians if you are not willing to take their place and do the good works we do. Sure some are bad, but there are people bad everywhere, it's not a Christianity thing, it's a people thing. Please try not to judge a religion for the acts of some. Thanks :)

  • Sickening.

  • @PriestChristopher I'm sorry but I have to disagree, as you knew I would lol. The bible does not promote hate in any way shape or form, except hate for sin, but that does not mean judgement of sin, which is what this pastor is claiming to do, he is wrong in both senses, one in the accusation two in the judgement. God promotes love, as he Loves me, so I would love others, are you saying I'm a hateful person? :) I have tried my hardest to show love to all, though I fall so short of it. Haha :)

  • @SammydFaith22 What? Are you kidding me? The Bible is one of the most hateful books towards people who refuse to follow it. For you to make such an absurd statement shows that either you have not read the Bible or are totally in denial and only pick and choose what you want. Take a look at the teachings to kill people who believe in different Gods, look at the teachings to stone to death children who disobey, look at the promotion of witch murder, at sexism, prejudice, and homophobia.

  • @PriestChristopher That's funny coming from you: Someone who is highly selective and likes to cut and paste a little snippet of text while completely disregarding the context. On this basis you build an argument that is nothing more than a disingenuous misrepresentation. Hows that reading of Matthew chapter 10 going? Read and studied it properly yet? Or are we just happy to keep playing the game of cut and paste? For a while I actually thought you were more intelligent than that.

  • This is what you get when you import christianity to third world countries, ain't this fucking nice, that's why I would ban religious missionaries from traveling overseas, specially to poor countries, nothing good comes out of it, cept for this shit!

  • @CerrunosStudio I agree with you 100%, all they do is hate and spread lies to brain wash them poor people, its bad enough that they do it here is USA in our own home country, all they do is use the bible to spread hate and use fear, facts are facts most christains do, there god is evil..so fucking evil, if they are to damn blind to see that fact then i feel sorry for them!

  • @CerrunosStudio I think you mean export to... Anyone with half a brain can see these men are charlatans who prey upon people for profit. Now, if such an individual is inclined to peddle a false and perverted gospel for profit, don't you think such an unscrupulous individual is just as inclined to promote whatever Voodoo, snake oil or anything else he can peddle for personal gain? Or do you really believe he would be a wonderful human being had he not found a tunic with a picture of Jesus on it?

  • If you need any more proof that Christianity is an insane cult religion that should be forever outlawed everywhere, this video removes any doubts about how dangerous Christians and their teachings are to both themselves and the rest of civilized society

  • @ericgrant2010 Pity in your ignorance and your gleeful rush to judgement it escapes your notice that these miserable pieces of pond scum posing as pastors are not even Christians, let alone ministers of the gospel. They are charlatans who peddle a false gospel for personal gain and damage countless children in the process. And the parents of these children are complicit in the abuse of their own children.

  • These people reminds us that christianity is full of power brokers.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm starting to think that maybe this "holy spirit" is an imposter. Perhaps the gnostic texts were right.

  • cant believe that cunt actually had the balls to asked money because he was interviewed and what not .. ==

  • This is wrong. This is not in the name of God, this is in the name of man. Where are the missionaries!! Where is the truth? I am a strong Christian and this breaks my heart, that faith would be used as a tool to oppress and destroy. A tool for personal growth? I would never ever condone this action, as it is clearly wrong. So so wrong.

  • @SammydFaith22. Do you not see that it is the Bible and its teachings that have driven people to this kind of insanity? Whether you say they are true Christians or not, the fact remains that the Bible promotes hate and violence against Witches and non-believers.

  • @PriestChristopher Nope and No. If this scum bucket didn't have a 'Jesus tunic' he'd find some other way of screwing people for money. Or are you really going to be dumb enough to suggest he would be an outstanding human being otherwise?

  • @Keruaran. Bottomline, he uses Christianity to justify his actions. Now Christianity has not been the only religion to have nuts. However, what I stand against is the claim that Christianity is an innocent religion that has always been peaceful and accepting. For centuries, countless people went to their graves because they refused to become Christian. And it was justified by the teachings in the Bible.

  • @PriestChristopher

"he uses Christianity to justify his actions"

You know what Jesus said about evil child abusers who manipulate children don't you?

"“Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea." - Matthew 18:5-6

The Bible says Christ will judge men. How do you think this man will fare?

  • @PriestChristopher

"I stand against is the claim that Christianity is an innocent religion... countless people went to their graves because they refused to become Christian"

Indeed much has been done in history in Christ's name that is evil, and this is terrible. But did those who murdered and persecuted in His name do so based on the teaching of Jesus Christ or the Apostles? The answer should be obvious.

Jesus said, "by their fruit you shall know them", not by what they claim.

  • @Keruaran. Jesus said he had not come to bring peace, but the sword. Let's also not forget his rage in the Temple. Jesus can easily be seen as a figure of violent opposition. Those who murdered and persecuted in his name did not do so because they felt Jesus would disapprove. They did it because they felt justified. And if they had not done so, they would have not gained so much control, period.

  • @PriestChristopher

"Let's also not forget his rage in the Temple"

I find it hard to fathom how any reading of Matthew 21 or John 2, "My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you make it a den of robbers", could be used as some sort of basis for an argument that what Jesus did works as an example that gives Christians a basis for violence against non-believers. Especially when in the same passage of text we find Jesus' healing the sick.

  • @Keruaran. Matthew 10:34 "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." You leave out that in Mark 11:15-19, Jesus overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of the selling doves. It was clearly a violent act against those who didn't do what he wanted.

  • @PriestChristopher

The context of Matthew 10:34 is straightforward and really shouldn't require explanation if people would simply read the chapter... Or at least verses 16-39...

Jesus speaks about the consequences of being obedient to His command to preach his message. Some will listen and accept it but many will reject it and react violently. Christians will be hated for this message. Even believers own families will turn against them. It is the sword of division that God's word brings.

  • @PriestChristopher

"You leave out that in Mark 11:15-19, Jesus overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of the selling doves. It was clearly a violent act against those who didn't do what he wanted."

Whether I refer to Mark or not it makes no difference. The temple in Jerusalem had become a house of commerce. What kind of corruption of religious leaders do you think this would bring with it? And the religious authorities were clearly not happy. The people were though.

  • @PriestChristopher

But regardless, this does not form a sufficient arguement that Christians have something from Jesus or the Apostles that provides any reasonable basis for violence. And certainly not in the sense of killing people. On the contrary, "Jesus said to him, "Put your sword back into its place; for all those who take up the sword shall perish by the sword." (Matthew 26:52).

  • @Keruaran. I had hoped that by you bringing up Matt 26:52 that you would see what a contradiction the Bible is, but I guess not.

  • @PriestChristopher

If you're reading Matthew 10:34 in context and not imposing an interpretation that doesn't actually fit with the passage the verse is from, how does it contradict Matthew 26:52?

  • @Keruaran. Because in one part Jesus said he had come to bring the sword not peace, and then in another part he contradicts his stated purpose by saying to put the sword away, that those who take up the sword perish by the sword.

  • @PriestChristopher

Matthew 10:34 is part of a passage of text where the context could hardly be more clear. It speaks of the heavy cost, and of what believers will endure for following Jesus and preaching His message. It does not speak of Christians taking up swords but rather of them being subjected to persecution and death for His name. Jesus is not instructing his disciples to take up swords: He is preparing them for the persecution to come.

And through history it has come, many times over.

  • @PriestChristopher

Matthew 10 is abundantly clear. If you have read the chapter you cannot interpret verse 34 as some violent injunction for Christians to commit murder. It is the exact opposite. To say otherwise is to misrepresent it deliberately. Why do you insist on framing Matthew 10:34 to mean something completely different to what it actually refers to?

  • @Keruaran. Since you're obviously ignoring the obvious and clinging to what you want, I see no point in continuing on with you.

  • @PriestChristopher Are you serious? You haven't even read Matthew chapter 10 have you.

  • @PriestChristopher

"I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves... they will deliver you over to courts and flog you in their synagogues... you will be dragged before governors and kings... When they deliver you over, do not be anxious... Brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death, and you will be hated by all for my name's sake... When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next..."

  • @PriestChristopher

"do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul... Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law... a person's enemies will be those of his own household... whoever loses his life for my sake will find it."

  • @PriestChristopher

There's your context... not that you seem interested in understanding the text.

  • @PriestChristopher

I wouldn't say that no Christian has ever done evil. But most persecution by those who called themselves 'Christians' occurred in an age where no common person posessed or could even read a Bible. Those who did or those who translated it into their own language were persecuted & murdered. Even those who exacted punishment couldn't read it either. Why? What threat did people actually being able to read the Bible represent to those who did indeed have control?

  • I do not know what is more disgusting, watching this video/story, or the people's comments about that video.

  • who are really the (witches)? the pastor ooooorrr?

  • What does the Christian Childrens Foundation doing about this!?

  • poor children. That man's a monster

  • I guess my 'belief' can be summarized as follows: "Don't piss in my ear and tell me it's raining." Put simply, I don't care what other people what to believe, but don't imprint it on the weak, or the powerless; like the children in this video.

In my mind, there is no positive social action that only a religious person can do, that a non-believer cannot. You'll never see an Atheist asking mothers for money to channel the power of Jesus to cure their children of witchcraft! That takes religion

  • "Jesus and money make a man speak in tongues,

Scream out his lungs, roll in the dung,

And when the song is sung, he moves up another rung

And the deaf and the dumb, are the ones who get stung! "

Yet another example of God raping the minds and bodies of children!

  • The Pastor looks evil. HE is the one who is possessed. So tired of this stone age bullshit. I am ashamed at times to be human.

  • That is strinkingly reminiscent of Arthur Millers: THE CRUCIBLE

  • doesn't anyone find it fishy that the last comment is about not giving charity to the Congo, based on an claim the the government approves of these exorcisms?if ABC went to talk to the government, why don't they have footage? is it possible that they have used this footage to lessen peoples empathy towards africans to thus justify non intervention?? you know... just keep pumping welfare money to israel and fok these african savages?? THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!!!

  • If a child has a swolen belly, he is malnourished, not a witch. Ignorant fools.

  • You ignorant people will never learn....atheism IS a religion. It isn't a solution.

  • @meeksiegirl Not believing a god exists is a religion in the same way not collecting stamps is a hobby.

  • @sanechipmunks You are wrong...atheism is a belief system and an ideology by which someone lives their life and basis their morality upon. Hence the "ism". Look in the religions section of the bookstore - you shall find topics on athesim - not stamp collecting.

  • @meeksiegirl If someone does not believe in Thor or Zeus or Yahweh, they are atheistic towards them. This can apply to any god you wish to claim. Being an atheist is not a proclamation of belief or ideology in anything but rather the opposite. Everyone on the planet is an atheist to some extent and the only thing that can me discerned from someones claim of being an atheist is that they do not believe in said god, that's it, nothing more and regardless of where books are stored in a library.

  • @krustofskie - As an atheist, you are choosing to believe there is no God...mince words if you will, but it is still a belief system...it is the doctrine that there is no deity. Atheism is the belief that there is no god. According to the Routledge Encyclopedia of Philosophy:

“Atheism is the position that affirms the non-existence of God. It proposes positive belief rather than mere suspension of disbelief.”
