  • what if there was like, giant whales that flew or swam around in space... that would be weird.

  • At 13:18, a giant black, long-sleeved shirt.

  • Did they really record those 'broadcasts' from the 'radio waves' from these stars or whatever??? Hm... Or did they just play the audio as an 'example' of how long the light took to reach us so we can see them?

  • @whoo689 Its an example 4 sure.Don't ask silly questions

  • what does it mean when it said u can hear hitlers speeches??

  • @joshieboy68 It means if beings over there were tuning in on our radio signals they would only be able to hear the radio signals we transmitted 50 years ago because they would only have just reached there.

  • yay! 720p version! And not narrated by Alec Baldwin, I hate when he tried to help Kim Jung Il

  • shits just crazy to think about, i always lose myself in thought when i start thinking about it,, it kinda makes me mad that its pretty much impossible to understand the shit that goes on out there

  • i wonder, maybe the signals are distorted, even if they catch signal (or we), it can be so distorted that would be just a noise, for example, all it is needed is different (very dif.) gravitational pool, and original wave is impossible to decode if you don't apply same conditions (virtual ofc.). Maybe that is the problem (aside of possibility that only life in our universe is on earth).

  • i wonder if someone heard or watch our tv broadcast already

  • These scientific videos are absolutely fascinating.

  • were did hitler come from

  • see the dislike bar? ya neither

  • Thank you so much for posting this, it is an amazing documentary.

  • @difficultjuggernaught the whole radio signal thing is that if you were that many light years away the signals for those broadcasts are just getting there.

  • and the chancellor opened the games: "Ich verkünde die Spiele von Berlin zur Feier der XI. Olympiade Neuer Zeitrechnung als eröffnet!" 06:54 - 07:06

  • at 13:18 to 13:20 its a person with oput a head lol

  • there is a bird at 9:33 to 9:26

  • thumbs up if you cried.

  • How do I get Permission off National Geographic to use this video in my song???? ... "THE PERFECT QUESTION." An Exploratory 12.46 Minute Musical & Lyrical Cosmic Journey through the beginnings of Space and Time into the complexities of far away Galaxies and the Unlimited Nebula and the Forever Expanding Universe of your own Spirit Mind! ... REVIEWS ... "The BEST MUSIC PIECE since Pink Floyd's DARK SIDE OF THE MOON ....FREE LISTEN AT "NAPSTER GARY SHAW" or DOWNLOAD at "ITUNES GARY SHAW."

  • My gosh there is so much we dont know about the universe and its so mind boggling to even comprehend the possibilities. Dark matter and dark energy which we know very little about. So much to learn. I hope we find signs of life in my life time. There has to be some form of life in the vastness of space. I wish we really knew what caused the big bang but that is an answer that is impossible pretty much. It suggest some form of higher power.

  • thave fund othr planetz wich huv no starz 2 orbit or wich huv 2 starz 2 orbit,i heard it on the newz.amazngli enuogh i read in sum focus mag & heard on newz thut ther r diamond planetz out ther.{*£*}.

  • So that planet at about 4:30 ... what's it called? and where is it?

  • planetquest.jpl.nasa.gov/atlas/atlas_search.cfm. This web site has a pretty up to date list of all planets scientists can prove exist. But were coming to the understanding that pretty much most of the stars in the universe( which is in the trillions) have solar systems. e.i. astral bodies that travel around them.

  • @jimguitarman27 if im not mistaken it's Gliese 581

  • Does anyone know where i can find the music composed in this documentary? Especially the music from 8:40 to 9:12?

  • and why "banned lifestyle condom ads" is in the suggestions- list?

  • @2010kiwi2010 It didn't show up on my family tree either.

  • Soooo my ancestor is a star....

  • what dose it mean " tune in on this star and u can hear hitler at berlin olympics" 7:00 minints it at??? pl respond

  • @lmfaoatthat well, this Journey is about-back in time.(in order to reach the final destination-the Big Bang)That means,on 7:00 when it says " tune in on this star and u can hear hitler at berlin olympics"means, that the transmission of that olympics in 45' were emited,if we are on that place where star is,we can hear them, because that was transmitted 50 years ago,And thats the light years that signal travels.

  • @difficultjuggernaut so your sayin that if i was in space now in this moment, and i was in the correct location and i could tune in to tha planet i could hear hitler speech at berlin olympics?

  • @lmfaoatthat exactly :)

  • @difficultjuggernaut the berlin olympics were in 1936.. just saying

  • @difficultjuggernaut I completely disagree with the radio signal distance theory. The transmitters we have or have had in the past, do not have enough output wattage to reach even past the kupier belt...there is so much cosmic radiation past the oort cloud that to think a weak radio wave could make it 100 ly is ridiculous. Think of dropping a rock in a puddle surrounded by an ocean...it would destroy those little ripples instantly. Nice to dream but totally unrealistic.

  • @stripes5150 Dont you listen in the documentary? He dont speak about somekind "radio signal distance theory",where did you get that ? He take's that like a example (just to imagine) of how much we have traveled since that point of documentary.U got it?.

  • Comment removed

  • @difficultjuggernaut and it is a THEORY...because no one has travelled 100ly and turned their radio on to listen to Hitler...lmao...good god man...you are something else. lol

  • @stripes5150 HEY WISE MAN !!! His point is to clear up "how much we traveled since begining of this Journey".What part you dont understand?

  • @difficultjuggernaut you u mean, if we go far enough, we can actually see the dinosaurs or even the Big Bang?

  • @difficultjuggernaut that olympics wasn't in 45, it was in 1936.

  • @hitcan79 yeah I forgot that hitlers berlin olympics were in 1936..but the point was to help him understand what that moment of the journey is about.I didnt focus on details a lot.

  • RF( radio frequencies) travel at a certain speed. What you have to understand is that our time is only relative to us and our proximity to our sun. It may take several seconds for a television broadcast to reach your house. If it was relayed around our planet it may take several minutes. Travel light years away from the source and it may take 70 years. Everything travels, whether it a frequency, or light.

  • that dead star is just beautiful

    subhanallah!

  • @bibey85 Allah has nothing to do with it, mate.

No offense, ofcourse, but i'm sure you took it anyway. lol

  • @TheWhiskeyfirst

my brother, God let people choose what to believe now, but when the world ends, God will show you the truth :)

  • @MUHAMMADAAQIB26 Whatever dude.

  • i hear wow sound XD orgrimmar

  • one question : how can they record all this or is this computer made shit?

  • @hardstylefaggot computer made

  • o my god how can they look so far !? !?!?

  • Every human on the planet should watch this serie... Maybe religion would finally vanish and there won't be any war left to fight for.

  • @XxxEmoGamerxxX

    my pleasure ;)

  • I'd like to say rather than the universe but the Creator of the universe as being not just an incredible engineer but one awesome artist!!! :D Whoohooo!!!

No wonder why all of the universe praise Him! <3

  • this is the best thing ever

  • Stunningly beautiful!
