Thank you, Sister for posting this deeply healing song. Do you know if there is contact info for LIBANA? A SisterFriend is looking for the roots of the song. In 1986, on their "Circle Is Cast" CD, LIBANA attributes this song to the Oregon Woman's Land Community, but my friend would like more specific information as to a)which land community, b)who composed it and c)the herstory behind it? The Lesbian Chorale she sings with will be performing it in March 2009 for Women's History Month. Thanks.
