I need to say that I was very excited to get Boxee Box, but what was my surprise? well If you live in the UK... you are screwed. There is no Netflix or Lovefilm.. making it very poor on content.;( people been trying to work with the company.. but it seems as if they are not interested on getting it.

the boxee is dope! I just got one. I love it! it makes everything into a hometheatre and media centre. It directs it right to your big screen tv. the HD video is soooo nice! I love boxee! I since cancelled my cable because boxee has it all! every app. Like youtube, facebook, netflix, and so much more, and all in HD. I recommend it. Im in love with mine

The hardware, which is made by home-networking giant D-Link, is unusual-looking. It's cool, but it won't fit on a narrow entertainment center shelf, and it doesn't go nicely in front of the TV, either. You need to find a tall shelf somewhere

The remote sometimes gets confused if you press buttons on both sides at once, which is easy to do unless you hold it carefully. Also, entering passwords using the QWERTY (as you have to do for secured Wi-Fi networks and to access your Boxee account) is extremely frustrating, especially if your passwords have a mix of upper and lowercase, because you can't see what you’re typing on the screen

i dont want to say this but most of the people does not know how to use there devices, think of it guys in my country not all of the people has routers, or cameras or modem, etc. but when i got my previous job, i learned how to trouble shoot it and to install it. common guys most OF THE HOUSES ON AMERICA has Internet connection and u dont know how to use it.. common.

Was this guy paid to say all these positive things about it? Sadly it suffers from all expected open source issues.... It crashes, the interface doesn't make sense to anyone with a job, the keyboard has black on blue can't read, takes 8 keystrokes to get home page, home page is not customizable, remote is centered can't determine which way ur holding it, there is no QA on 3rd party apps. I returned mine after 10 days of TRYING to love it. I'll try again in a year.

Every app is different, so forget about it. App Instructions 1) Don't use any, there is no quality control. Boxee Purpose 1) To look stupid beside your tv

@MdxIxbM I tried boxee on a normal pc and here in Belgium, not worth the 250 euro at all as you said most streaming things don't work.

I would suggest just an Acer Revo with Boxee/XBMC on it. So you can use that as a normal PC on your big screen too...
