In 2001 I was in a highrise flat standing in the balcony, beautiful sunny day and then I seen a perfect diamond shaped shadow moving along the ground and of course I done what anyone would do and looked up, nothing was in sight that could be casting this shadow, strangest thing I have ever seen. I watched this diamond shaped shadow go off along the road, up and over the buildings in the distance till i couldn't see it no more. If what I seen wasn't Alien then we humans have this technology.

Nay-sayers on the legitimacy of this video. My son and I viewd this same object in may of 2010, It dropped from extremely high altitude as it approched us from over the Olympic Mountains. It sped up then slowed. It came down to an elevation of approx 8-10k and hovered right over us towards Tacoma Wa and then faded out. Top half white bottom half pink/red

I never saw anything like it before so googled and found mufon.

I got a phone call from the west coast head mufon guy the next morning

Hello Koer32, My son and veiwed this same object in april of last year. It came in from over the Olympic mountain range as It dropped from stratosphere level to around 8k ft. Soared right over the top of us and then changed shapes. top half pinkish red bottom half star white. I researched who to contact and mufon came up first. Sent an email and was contacted the next morn by the west coast mufon main dude with a 3rd degree question session.

The thing made zero sound.

I have noticed and captured UFOS that look like this but move rapidly in directions and can stop in a second then shoot off straight up or where ever,i have also noticed a strange looking bright object that looks like venus but it isn't and is very low in the sky and only shows up occasionally.

Why people say it's mars or jupiter(!)... those are never that bright even at their brightest luminosity during a night. This video is still in daily lights. One can see no stars at all! Only Venus could appears as bright. But the diamond shape would still be a problem to explain...

You should get yourself a good camera with a stand and a large and powerful objective. Than take a good picture of it. The video still have a lack of clarity.

i live in new york and i see that same craft or what ever it is every morning, and i tell my self its to close to be a star... so i think im going crazy so i whip out me telescope and find out that it is not a star...usually it leaves when it get bright or when the sun starts to appear.

Of all the thousands of ufo videos, this one is the most believable and convincing. A real person, with genuine reaction to the site, plus the use of tripod to view the object without zooming in and out too often. Also showing landscape for reference and stating time and place. Excellent video, one of the absolute best yet in so far as proof. As to what it is...well...only one way to find out and that's for the thing to land.

Also, this object did not follow celestial patterns as it stayed in exactly the same spot from at least 11pm til after 6am.

This is a planet.. I can put a straight edge up against the screen and see that it is rising from the left same direction as the sun is rising at the same rate as the earth rotates. The diamond shape is simply the effect of the zoom on your camera. sorry it's nothing.

@chico280 And I will say it again, check the star chart. Jupiter DOES NOT STAY IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT FROM 11pm to 6:30am! Hear me? THE EXACT SAME SPOT FOR 8+HOURS! Also, I checked the zoom out of focus theory with my camera on the west side hway lights--They do blur and make a diamond but the diamond doesn't resemble this object at all! This object has a triangle thing in the top! That's not "normal". Jupiter doesn't sit still for 8 hours. I know we can agree on that. Thanks:-)

alone in the sky. It was dusk and and that time there were no stars at the sky visible, only that object. It was not moving, just hovering there. I was like "hm!?" could it be really a spaceship or planet? But my 6th sense is saying "no planet!". It's not a planet, we filmed 2 of them at once and have them in our films as they move about rather quickly and are very aware of what we are doing. We were standing outside of the venue (The Acheron) off of Waterbury Street in Brooklyn before the show started. While talking with others I happened to look up and see an extremely fast moving bright light headed at a downward angle towards the earth. I was with about six other people that witnessed it as well.

At first sight it looks like Venus. Not sure if it's diamond shaped or not because circular objects when out of focus can look like that. Only thing that stumps me is Venus wouldn't sit above the horizon for eight hours. If those statements are true that is.

@JDQuantum It was there from at least 11pm as that is when I personally saw it. It was there at Midnight, 3am, and at 5am I got my camera to take a closer look. Venus, Jupiter, etc. They move across the sky as the night progresses. This object is LOW. And holds its position for at least 8 hours. In NYC objects are not allowed to hang over the city in this manner.

@Koer32 : That's why I said "at first it looks like Venus". Being an armature astronomer I'm very aware how planets act. Right now Jupiter is the brightest visible planet rising in the east just after sunset. It's my favorite planet to check out. I'm out there with my telescope every other night. Yeah I seen this shit too man. When I was in Dyckman 215, I seen people looking up. My pops was like theres something in the sky n it's shiny as heck too it was in form of a triangles. Everyone was recording it, and other were as always non believers saying it's just ballons or planes. But they was way to high to be ballons and shiny to be planes. @hazeces Yes, this object was over like 105th street. I wouldn't be surprised if there were others more uptown--I'm familiar with Dyckman--Ft Tyron Park area. I only taped it because after 10 years of observing the skyline at this location I knew something wasn't normal with this object. Helicopters don't hover for 8+ hours over same spot! Glad you saw something also:-)

Auto focus is way out and the diamond shape is due to a diamond or square shaped iris in the lens. If you point that cam to the sun it will make four pointed star.

Try zooming up progressively and let the cam refocus each time.

If you can lock the focus zoom up on something sharp on the horizon then lock so you are locked on to ∞.

If they ever blur because too close, RUN !
