    strength gainer. my shake is kinda boring and hard to down after workouts and its chocolate flavour(im guessing because it is whey with no carbs or other stuff you would find in a weight gainer). But is added these things going to help build nice muscle

    and Btw I am 15 and have been lifting for a year and a bit

  • Why bother making weight gain shakes luke this one when u can see the same results from eating mcdonnells everyday of the week! I think what people need to realize is that u can gain huge amounts of weight drinkin these but ur just going to be fat!

  • @HornyPedestrianXD I use milk or water, it just depends on what you like. You can also use skim milk

  • I make mine with Vanilla Almond milk instead of cow milk, a banana, and whey protein. what would u suggest for the best peanut butter to use in shakes?

  • i got the cheap whey gainer from wal mart just to help gain muscle mass not fat and it works fine you dont need to buy this expensive shit.... like one of these guys said your body can only absorb so much protein

  • your body can only absorb so much protein at once usually about 50 grams unless you weigh 300LBS then you can handle 60.. but this is WAY too much the milk has 10 the peanut butter has 10n each scoop of protein powder is 20 at least plus the ice cream is probly five.. youd just piss out the majority of protein and then end up getting the shits from this crazy shake... stick with milk and protein powder with a banana then an hour later eat a peanut butter sandwich or two...

  • @buybulkwhey yea dude but your wasting money by addin all that protein powder and stuff.. it would be better to drink a gallon of milk a day.. or eat a few cups of nuts...one cup of sunflower seends is 1000 calories 80 grams of fat 25 grams carbs and 35 grams protein.. and a hell of a lot cheaper.. like one dollar compared to your 10.. eating trail mix all day would be more effective

  • @badassforever I would go with a regular whey product and make it in a gainer shake. It's cheaper and that way you know exactly what is going in your shake. Dont forget about your nutrition and your training:) Good luck

  • Ha, ask as many questions as you would like man. I started training at 14 as well (a while back) BUT I was fortunate to have a good coach who showed me proper form as opposed to "heavy lifting" Be intense on the technique and the strength will come!

  • hey man im 14 years old and im about 5 10. I only weigh about 110 pounds! I play a lot of sports mostly basketball and i hate getting beat around. I workout about every other day trying to get bigger and eat a lot but i just dont get any mass. Right now im using this protein powder called Mass XXX and its vanilla can i substitute this in for what your using. Thanks in advance

  • A weight gainer will be a fat gainer only if you don't train properly. It's a muscle gainer for athletes, but weight gainer is the most accurate title because it changes based on who uses it and how. Also, I doubt your friend is a certified personal trainer with a BA in physiology or a nutritionist, so don't base your diet and training on rumors.

  • I'm 6' 3'' and 139.8 lbs so I know what you mean. I ordered some oats and whey because I couldn't get the bulkwhey shipped to an address, wish that could have been sorted out. I am going to use it only on the days I go to the gym, three times a week, eat as much as I can on other days and see how it works out. Whey protein is great because it will help build muscle. Drink gainer shakes and exercise hard and it will all come. Don't take this unless you are going to exercise hard or you'll be fat!

  • When I went to payment it was forcing me to ship it to my home address in Jamaica. I wanted to ship it to a US address because it would have cost me less because they forward the package to me here in Jamaica when I ship it to that US address. I understand that it's to help prevent fraud like stolen credit cards. I am referring to Paypal by the way. Your stuff and prices are impressive though.   • I've heard some trainers and nutritionists alike say that protein is irrelevant and training is what is most important in building muscle. It's sort of hard to know who to believe.

  • If you have a rock solid diet then whey protein may not make a huge difference, but for people on the go, or who are short on time, or may not have the perfect diet it can give you an edge. i always say to keep a journal of your progress and then you will truly know what works and what doesn't. For me, whey protein has been great.

  • what you can do is slowly work into it and keep track of your body fat percentage. watch it daily and watch the scale. if you start to go the wrong way then dial it back a little. This way you will not run the risk of eliminating the abs, but you may allow yourself to add some additional muscle mass.

  • gainers are usually for the hard gainers who need a lot more calories than the average person. The guys with the supercharged metabolisms. If you have an average metabolism then yes, any amount of caloric over consumption could lead to body fat.

  • Start with one... then of course if you can tolerate it and you are putting on the right kind of weight you can bump it up to two or even three.... although three would be a whole lot of calories in one day!!

  • It's a little heavy to do before your workout, but definitely after your workout is good! I have seen people eat these before a workout... but I would go a little lighter.

  • Remember, whey protein is food. High protein food, so treat it as such. make sure you are getting plenty of protein from whole food sources as well. To get into specifics come up to our forum so we can go into details for your situation.

  • Well IMO the taste is awesome! as far as healthy, feel free to adjust the recipe as necessary. health diets are a controversial subject and always will be. Use a variety of good, clean ingredients in moderation and you should be good

  • Great video's man, really helpful. Just wondering though, lets say Im all out of Whey protein, would this shake still be helpful in gaining weight If I drink it without the whey? Also 65 grams of fat, is that safe to consume on a daily basis?

  • If you don't have any whey, yes it would still be a huge gainer... you could always use cottage cheese or powdered milk or even eggs to get the extra protein. 65 grams of fat IMO is perfectly fine if you are trying to gain weight. Plus don't forget.... PB has some pretty good fats for you and like wise with the EVO.

  • It can, but there are three keys to address when trying to add muscle: Stimulus, Nutrition and recovery. You need to come up to our forum so we can get specific for your situation! come up and ask some detailed questions.

  • Yes this is definitely to gain weight whether you are a man or woman. Women need less calories then men usually, so gainers usually focus on the male population.

  • If you eat more calories that you are burning, then regardless of the source.... you will likely gain fat. Now if you have a high activity routine, especially where you are trying to gain mass, then a shake like this one can definitely help. The key is to always watch your overall intake and make sure it's on target with your goals.

  • Well, it depends on your overall goal, but when I have been bulking I would eat two of these per day. One as a snack in mid morning, and the second as a POST-WORKOUT drink.

  • For Breakfast with oats? Yes, this would work if you can eat that much! This is a great POST workout meal. Take right after you are done working out!!!! Take it while you are still sweating as quick as you can after you set the weights down. Take it before you even leave the gym if you can!

  • Very helpful, Im not looking to gain, but this is still helpful. I was wondering, do you have any recovery shakes? What I mean is shakes that will aid in recovery after a workout? I been doing alot of swimming and am feeling real burned out after a work out. Thanks again this definetly helped.

  • Sounds like a good suggestion. We will start working on that category as well. RECOVERY! if you wanted to use this one for recovery, cut all ingredients in half, except milk, but use skim milk.
