  • The Jay Leno one is the best one I've seen, female backing singers FTW!

  • Hey Rich, you're my fucking fucking favorite guitar player.

  • Is this show available on retail video? Quality is amazing!

  • where are the other singers..luther is good but marc does more with less notes. I find marc was always real bluesy, I learned string bends and vibrato from him!

  • quiero descargar este concierto

quien me puede decir donde por favor

    gracias

  • LOVE this song!!!

    This band was always AMAZING!!

    Thanks for the great video

  • this tour also had a back drop that said "free us no narcs " lol high as the moon tour

  • Damn, Richie is a BABY here. And to think, after all this time, he's only JUST 40. This is when the Crowes were awesome. Still put on a great show, but Chris just doesn't come out guns-a-blazin' like this anymore.

Gonna see 'em this time around, been checking out the setlists online and they all seem a bit mellow. Hopefully they drink from the fountain of youth and rock out like this again.

  • I remember all the fans shouting "You're so SKINNNNEEEEEEEE" once and Robinson laughed

  • @gilgameth Have to disagree with you about Warpaint. You should check the live dvd of the Warpaint album. Fucking killer. And all you Marc Ford lovers, sure he was badass but Luther Dickinson is right up there with him. And way better on stage prescence.

  • Really great video, but dont you get the impression that the camera man or video producer (or both) was told to concentrate exclusively on the Robinson boys...

  • Before the New Earth Mud, you mean? If that is their best album, what are their best albums in their best stretch of their careers, if not anyone's career since the Stones, Zeppelin, Floyd, Dead or Who of the late 60's into the 70s?? Were you asleep in the 1990s?

  • Even though Rich Robinson has the stage presence of a marshmallow, he's still badass.

  • Yeah, been to a concert of this tour in Hamburg. I remember the fishnet lightshow, awesome.... great concert memory, still got the ticket.

  • Rich Robinson is such a badass guitar player.Love him!!!!!!!!!

  • Obviously a professionally shot clip, so is this show available for purchase as an official DVD?

  • That was badass. I'm dying to see these guys live.

  • Seeing the Black Crowes Live is a very spiritual experience!!!

  • Chris Robinson is like the Stevie Ray Vaughn of vocalists. One of the greatest of all time.

  • There are solid without Ford, but the best with him.

  • I am with you on that brother

  • it depends what they play, stuff before 2007, duh no one does it better, but Luther can play a couple of instruments which makes the Crowes more versatile now. And by a couple I mean I've seen him play ukeleilei, or whatever that was, and guitar, I'm sure he can play others, regardless, Luther gives the Crowes a wider range of styles

  • You are right on, there. Marc Ford made them sound downright nasty. They never will sound better than that period of time during the SMHC/Amorica/Three Snakes trilogy, and M. Ford was the reason for it. But the Crowes are the Crowes, and they do what they do, and it is always good...except for half of the songs on Lions...and Warpaint...Before the Frost is a winner, though. Right up there with their best albums...

  • @windtested

Ford is fantastic but Before the frost is their best album. They have matured as a band

  • @windtested I think they are just as good with Luther. It's definitely different but Luther is an AMAZING guitarist and they are lucky to have him. Their albums with Luther are better than like...Lions and By Your Side for SURE. I'd say I like Warpaint more than Amorica to be honest.

  • @nickthebold i miss Ed Harsh on keyboard !!!

  • @fuckuantheworld

i miss Ed Harsh too, i met that guy outside showbox in seattle, he's in some other band now

you guys ever listen to New Earth Mud? Black Crowes music will always be alive so long as we have Chris. His energy is such that anyone he plays with takes on his energy and naturally makes the finest sounds. kinda like Robert Plant does.

  • Just spectacular . . . these guys just don't stop! They are the saviors of rock a roll! What a stunning performance! The Crowes are the REAL DEAL. Rock on birds!

  • I saw them at bamajam 09' too , front row dead center of the stage had the best seat in the house . after all this time their still as good as ever

  • Saw this at BamaJam2009!! WOW! You just stand there speechless. Any body out there hear the classic blues foundation of this one???

  • Saw them in Albany NY on the Southern Harmony tour. I have been to hundreds of shows and seen the Crowes many times, but it was one of the best shows I have ever seen.

  • When?

  • I agree. Best " Sting Me " clip I've ever seen. The German guys were lucky. With the original bass and no female background vocals. Marc is on fire.

  • this is the best version of sting me i've ever seen...

  • muy lindo video!

    son buenisimos!!!!

  • Sure thang - groovy s**t

  • top of their game for sure

  • I agree!

  • that was excellent! The crowes are one of the best bands out there, i seen them in sarnia and they blew me away!

  • I was there - ALive at Cologne - A real fantastic music Rock Show - Never seen again that kind of power & sound.

  • Ruuuuuuuuuock!

  • Pure bliss!

  • Crowes on fire! Oh yeh!
