This analysis leaves out one very important thing. A president is generally the last stop for lawmaking. He doesn't have to sign laws he rejects. Obama Care was passed in the most dishonest way and signed into law by Barry the day after it cleared the Capitol. But Barry told us via Bret Bair that he would give America a few weeks to review the bill before signing it. Why, because he acknowledged that it was impossible to tell what the bill said because of the way they were ramming it through.
So you're anti-money. Does that mean you're anti-trade? Are you anti-organization? Which part of money do you not like? I'm genuinely curious and hope for a genuine response. :)
It doesn't matter who you vote for. Do you want the guys stealing from you to this this, that, or the other thing? Oh, so I can't choose them not stealing from me? Splendid!
yeah the whole FED / BIS / ECB thing is bullshit. a bunch of unelected JEWS issuing your money and then telling you that you should be poor and live without heat in your home because the polar bears need more ice. fuck that ! we do need money, but we don't need central banker JEWS. we also don't need fractional reserve banking or derivatives. money should be nothing more or less than a placeholder for ACTUAL THINGS OF VALUE, not printed out of thin air.
So i'm working on college applications right now. I want to go to yale so i can join skull and crossbones so i can RULE THE FUCKIN WORLD (like a libertarian)
The politicians, the media, and the public have all come together to reduce politics to a never-ending sports match where it's all about cheering your team to win, jeering the other side to lose, and "rah rah rah" while Rome burns.
A culture that loves only money—the universal reward. Promotions, degrees earned, lawsuits won, industriousness, thievery, efficiency. Pre-nup agreements. “Danger pay”. The-be-all-and-end-all from Shakespeare. Not humanity or some portion thereof. Not even God unless you can win yourself a parsonage in a swank neighborhood. The only thing still sacred is the notion Christ was, in fact, a venture capitalist (and to think I was forever “eccentric” for reading reincarnation into the scriptures…).
If by some miracle Ron Paul wins the nomination, I'll vote for him because that would actually be the lesser of two evils. (That doesn't mean I think he'll be able to affect major change in the face of the economic powers, but I trust he'll try his damnedest.) If not, I'll vote third party out of principle. I know they won't win, but voting Republican or Democrat would be just as much of a waste.
Look at Ron Pauls record - he is more than paint on the wall like the other guys. If we have any chance of turning this country around (Fiscal Responsibility, Liberties,Tax etc), he is the best start of it to lead the way. Say it with me...President Ron Paul.
@ModernDeism but, but newt gingrich is a converted christian now and admits he is wrong about all that wacky stuff he did in the past! don't you believe him? heh if Ron Paul doesn't win the primary i may stay home.
But, to answer your question, yes; I am voting for Paul, as I do think the country actually stands a chance of getting a bit better (no, not all better, but somewhat).
I thik he can work with both sides of the aisle (and indies, too, of course) and don't see any of the also-rans doing that, including Obama...
Don't you guys have smaller parties like over here in the free world ??? Like the Greens, Lib Dems, One Nation, Nationals, Screaming Lord Such and the Monster Raving Looney Party etc etc.
@PleaseStayTuned She'd be assassinated before the inauguration. Too tough for the bankers. Bankers don't like tough people, especially not tough women!
Definitely understand your comment, but I don't even worry about him not doing anything. He had many opportunities over 30 years to sellout and never did once so, we shouldn't worry : )
All I would worry is someone trying to harm him, not from the people but from the inside out >: I
From the standpoint of legislation, the Democrats and Republicans are not much different. They are both puppets for corporations. However, as figure heads they are important, because who wins indicates the cultural direction we are headed towards. And that is why I consistently vote against Republicans, because the last thing I want is people representing my country, who have theocratic ambitions, and advertise to the world that the church should be merged with the state.
I saw we all write in Buggs Bunny. Sure Buggs doesn't exist. But I think the heads will get the idea if a large enough volume of people write in fictional characters and those number are either close or beat out all of the other candidates. Sure it's a huge risk on our part, but if none of them can be nominated they will make changes. Obviously they will pick the closest real person, but even that person would be embarrassed.
I think we're at the point we just need to not support any of them.

that...or he will deregulate utilities, striking the final blow to completely eliminate the middle class.
either way, people should (grow up, evolve, mature) to a point where they no longer believe in government, at all, anymore. (like santa) "outdated imperialist dogma"
@donHooligan The point with deregulating utilities is a fiat argument and has nothing to do with Paul.
You basically say, no matter what we do, our owners will bring in their puppets and hell will break loose anyway, no difference who governs, be it Obama, Clinton, Gingrich, or Paul. But then, how can "no longer believing in government" be the cure? It may be fine for a start to grow up, but it doesn't suffice. What is the next step?
@GeorgeAlexanderOz if he completely deregulated the market, ignoring the utility monopolies, then the middle class would be without electricity, water, and heat in no time flat.
the first step towards sustainability is independence.
@donHooligan Absolute statements do not help. Yes, independence is essential, but it is a goal, not the starting point. It can't be the first step. That's like saying the first step for a fish to walk is to have legs, if you believe in evolution. Of course, mental and spiritual independence is mandatory.
But where did Paul say such things about utilites? My guess is you imply that from something he is stating. I don't think he has that particular position.
i've never heard him say "i'm going to deregulate utilities" i'm not implying, just cautiously wondering what deregulating the market Actually Means. we will take what we are Given. (like usual) if the vote counters Give us ron paul, i'd put on a helmet...cause shit's gonna get crazy.

@painterQjensen the last part didn't help you at all. I agree about Paul though. He doesn't fuck around, which is better tahn any of the other fuckers.
If the votes are counted fairly a vote for Ron Paul will at least send a message... If they aren't counted fairly then I'm with you because it is indeed the bankers who are running things currently.
All I hear is paulites did any of you actually watch the video? @proteanview I agree I don't have a horse in the race because no matter who is in the front its the same track and the direction we head is not dictated by the one who leads up. Putting your faith in someone is the wrong way put faith into your self make your own change.
Going along with your analogy, the existing house is currently in free fall and will soon hit the ground. I'd rather get into Ron Paul's trailer which will be towed away from the crumbling cliff to safety.
"as long as someone is printing money and it's not you". That is the key statement. Legalizing competing currencies is a concept only one candidate talks about. You don't force the dollar down everyone's throat. You don't force the gold standard down everyone's throat. You don't allow the FED do devalue your capital. You simply allow competing currencies and the market decides what form of money should prevail. Ron Paul can't force this isssue, but he's the only one who understands it.
We don't get Ron Paul in the White House in 2012.. Orwell's 1984 is going to look like a cake walk.. this is just the beginning.
"Those who blatantly give up there liberty for security.. deserve neither." Benjamin Franklin
The corporates run big government.. lets end this in 2012.. don't be fooled by those who pretend to care for your future.. (ie. Obama..Bachman..Perry.. Romney..Gingrich) Ron Paul (although i don't agree 100% with his views) is the best shot we have.
"Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power." -- Benito Mussolini
End the fed.. End the wars.. End the lies.. End the TSA.. End the patriot act.. End the income tax.. SUPPORT OUR TROOPS..BRING THEM HOME! The answer to 1984 = 1776! Dr. Ron Paul 2012.
Voting turnout in the US was 63% iirc. The two parties generally get 45-51% each depending on the election. That's 35% of the country to win. If the 37% of you that didn't vote actually voted and those that voted strategically, voted for who they actually wanted, you could dictate talking points at the very least
Politicians aim to be elected. If all of a sudden 80% + of the country is voting and all those new votes went to independents, you can bet your ass the main parties would address that.
Hello again, I have always liked you, and your videos. I must say however, that Ron Paul is the most beautiful shade of Liberty Blue I have ever seen. I am hopeful you like this color as well and might consider painting your house this color come PRIMARY time. Peace to you and yours.
The only way I could take this stance is if there were LITERALLY no policy difference between the candidates, and while I agree there are many forces and people and organizations acting on us that exert as much or more influence than presidents, (far from just banks, too), there are still differences between the candidates. The only way those differences are not significant is if you don't care about those particular issues where there are differences.
My buddy Brian Nester has tattoos where that tape is. The exact same, but ink on his skin forever. This video can be explained in Jason Bermas's Invisible Empire or the animated film The American Dream
There is no one worthwhile voting for president, the mainstream GOPers are corrupt and insane, while Ron Paul may not be corrupt, Paul is a complete nutter who doesn't understand economics. Obama is at least sane but he is completely corrupted by the bankers, so he s not worth voting for. I'm just writing in Anthony Weiner so that I can say that I voted.
@loveofphysics ...Au contraire. Paul is the only one I've heard saying it's impossible to get free by borrowing more from your debt creditors. Basic logic I didn't hear from anyone else yet.
How do you know that Obama is sane? His speeches are from a teleprompter, The bailouts ...the wars ...the lies ...the implementation of a police state ...his team participated more than enough in the downfall.
You say he's sane ...I say you don't know what your talking about.
@Lepiratepoulpe "The bailouts ...the wars ...the lies ...the implementation of a police state ..." Are all bipartisan ideas, both Republicans and Democrats push for this idiotic things, and how do you interpret my comment as supporting Obama? I said I plan to write in a random candidate, note vote for Obama.
Also, there is a difference between a corrupt person, like Obama, and an insane person, like all the GOP presidential candidates
@Lepiratepoulpe On Ron Paul's economics, he wants to go to pre-depression era insecurity. If you want to live in a nation where only the 1% get education, healthcare, and financial security, then Ron Paul is your guy. He may have some good positions on personal liberties and foreign policy, but on economics he is an insane nutter.
@loveofphysics If Ron Paul would attempt to drastically reduce military spending as well as spending on things such as the drug war, he can't be a complete economic nutter. We need a president who will attempt to channel the majority of our defense spending toward education instead. Education creates more jobs than anything and is the best investment in the future.
@JaredHutcheson1 There are some position Ron Paul takes that I do agree with, such as ending the wars, cutting Military spending, ending the war on drugs...but that does not mean I support everything he says like you cultists do.
Ron Paul wants to destroy SSI, Medicare, deregulate the financial industry, cut taxes to insanely low levels, and supports extreme privatization of education and healthcare. He would destroy America.
@loveofphysics It seems that if Ron Paul were in charge, he would give most of the power to the states, which would make most of his stances irrelevant.
@loveofphysics Surprising that the content of my comment suggested to you that I'm a "Ron Paul Cultist". I offer a simple nuance to your biting criticism of his economic ideas, and you call me a cultist.
I will say, however, that I am somewhat inclined to want to see what might happen in a Paul administration, and see what lessons we might learn from it rather than to continue to live in a stagnant corporate wasteland and see no change of any kind.
@loveofphysics If Ron Paul doesn't win the nomination then I'm definitely voting third party, even though I know they will lose. I just feel that if he is the candidate, between him and Obama, he actually will be the lesser of two evils, whereas in every other election "the lesser of two evils" is a complete delusion programmed into the public to keep the same economic powers in control regardless of which of the two "main" candidates wins.
@JaredHutcheson1 "I am somewhat inclined to want to see what might happen in a Paul administration, and see what lessons we might learn from it rather than to continue to live in a stagnant corporate wasteland and see no change of any kind."
False Dichotomy, there are many other options better than a choice between the current status quo or Ron Paul's pre-depression insecurity and deregulation
@loveofphysics In a Paul vs Obama situation, as far as the degree of change that a president can even affect (probably not much), what would be the alternative? Like I said, if Paul isn't the candidate, I'll vote 3rd party, even though I know they will lose. I understand that real significant change can't come from the top down anyway, but as far as who to vote for, do you have a better choice? 3rd party candidates will spoil it for Paul more than Obama.
@loveofphysics You're an idiot and YOU don't understand economics if you think RP does not , and you are a very poor judge of mental health status if you think Obama the schizo promising-machine is 'sane'.
@DeltaNordicAdvance Obama is sane but corrupt, sanity and corruption are two different things. Insanity is the crap Bachmann says like politicalhumor(.)about(.)com/od/republicans/a/michele-bachmann-quotes(.)htm
haha, point taken. I think the more people who realize the power the bankers wield, the better we will be able to do something about it. Paul does much to help educate to that effect. Is there a magenta option? Or a pastel sky blue?

All I hear is paulites did any of you actually watch the video? @proteanview I agree I don't have a horse in the race because no matter who is in the front its the same track and the direction we head is not dictated by the one who leads up. Putting your faith in someone is the wrong way put faith into your self make your own change.

At least if you vote for Ron Paul, you'll get a new house; Obama and Gingrich are just paint.
KagarBeardtooth 2 months ago
@KagarBeardtooth a new house? you mean a trailer on the edge of a receding cliff!
gratex 2 months ago
@gratex
Going along with your analogy, the existing house is currently in free fall and will soon hit the ground. I'd rather get into Ron Paul's trailer which will be towed away from the crumbling cliff to safety.

That's close to the way I have seen things when I go to vote.

Great video!
I think we have to establish what "money" is. Is money something that government can just print up? or just add digits to a db?
OR..is money only something with its own value, like silver?
If its the first, let's do away with money. If its the second, let's embrace it.

End the fed.. End the wars.. End the lies.. End the TSA.. End the patriot act.. End the income tax.. SUPPORT OUR TROOPS..BRING THEM HOME! The answer to 1984 = 1776! Dr. Ron Paul 2012.

Paul is the only candidate who wants to end the banking cartels, wel see if they will rig the elections or not though
StyrbjornStarke 2 months ago

I'm never voting again. No point.

I'm just writing in Anthony Weiner so that I can say that I voted.
loveofphysics 2 months ago
@loveofphysics ...Au contraire. Paul is the only one I've heard saying it's impossible to get free by borrowing more from your debt creditors. Basic logic I didn't hear from anyone else yet.
How do you know that Obama is sane? His speeches are from a teleprompter, The bailouts ...the wars ...the lies ...the implementation of a police state ...his team participated more than enough in the downfall.
You say he's sane ...I say you don't know what your talking about.
Lepiratepoulpe 2 months ago
@Lepiratepoulpe "The bailouts ...the wars ...the lies ...the implementation of a police state ..." Are all bipartisan ideas, both Republicans and Democrats push for this idiotic things, and how do you interpret my comment as supporting Obama? I said I plan to write in a random candidate, note vote for Obama.
Also, there is a difference between a corrupt person, like Obama, and an insane person, like all the GOP presidential candidates
loveofphysics 2 months ago
@Lepiratepoulpe On Ron Paul's economics, he wants to go to pre-depression era insecurity. If you want to live in a nation where only the 1% get education, healthcare, and financial security, then Ron Paul is your guy. He may have some good positions on personal liberties and foreign policy, but on economics he is an insane nutter.
loveofphysics 2 months ago
@loveofphysics Well, said, I couldn't agree more!
SupaAmi 2 months ago
@loveofphysics If Ron Paul would attempt to drastically reduce military spending as well as spending on things such as the drug war, he can't be a complete economic nutter. We need a president who will attempt to channel the majority of our defense spending toward education instead. Education creates more jobs than anything and is the best investment in the future.
JaredHutcheson1 2 months ago
@JaredHutcheson1 There are some position Ron Paul takes that I do agree with, such as ending the wars, cutting Military spending, ending the war on drugs...but that does not mean I support everything he says like you cultists do.
Ron Paul wants to destroy SSI, Medicare, deregulate the financial industry, cut taxes to insanely low levels, and supports extreme privatization of education and healthcare. He would destroy America.
Please cut it out with you Ron Paul Cultism.
loveofphysics 2 months ago
@loveofphysics It seems that if Ron Paul were in charge, he would give most of the power to the states, which would make most of his stances irrelevant.
OldSchopenhauer 2 months ago
@loveofphysics Surprising that the content of my comment suggested to you that I'm a "Ron Paul Cultist". I offer a simple nuance to your biting criticism of his economic ideas, and you call me a cultist.
I will say, however, that I am somewhat inclined to want to see what might happen in a Paul administration, and see what lessons we might learn from it rather than to continue to live in a stagnant corporate wasteland and see no change of any kind.
JaredHutcheson1 2 months ago
@JaredHutcheson1 false dichotomy fallacy
loveofphysics 2 months ago
@loveofphysics If Ron Paul doesn't win the nomination then I'm definitely voting third party, even though I know they will lose. I just feel that if he is the candidate, between him and Obama, he actually will be the lesser of two evils, whereas in every other election "the lesser of two evils" is a complete delusion programmed into the public to keep the same economic powers in control regardless of which of the two "main" candidates wins.
JaredHutcheson1 2 months ago
@JaredHutcheson1 "I am somewhat inclined to want to see what might happen in a Paul administration, and see what lessons we might learn from it rather than to continue to live in a stagnant corporate wasteland and see no change of any kind."
False Dichotomy, there are many other options better than a choice between the current status quo or Ron Paul's pre-depression insecurity and deregulation
loveofphysics 2 months ago
@loveofphysics In a Paul vs Obama situation, as far as the degree of change that a president can even affect (probably not much), what would be the alternative? Like I said, if Paul isn't the candidate, I'll vote 3rd party, even though I know they will lose. I understand that real significant change can't come from the top down anyway, but as far as who to vote for, do you have a better choice? 3rd party candidates will spoil it for Paul more than Obama.
JaredHutcheson1 2 months ago
@loveofphysics You're an idiot and YOU don't understand economics if you think RP does not , and you are a very poor judge of mental health status if you think Obama the schizo promising-machine is 'sane'.
DeltaNordicAdvance 2 months ago

h0tie 2 months ago
haha, point taken. I think the more people who realize the power the bankers wield, the better we will be able to do something about it. Paul does much to help educate to that effect. Is there a magenta option? Or a pastel sky blue?
