I've never have a Gamecube and probably never will ever. But I have a Nintendo Wii, it can Gamecube games along you have a Gamecube controller and a Gamecube memory cards. I don't need to get a Gamecube. A Gamecube controller and memory card yes.

While I'll admit that overall the PS@ ended up being better. It's primarily because it had so much more 3rd party support than the gamecube. The gamecube just didn't have a big enough library as a result.

However, there are some real gems on the gamecube that put most PS2 games to shame, they're just few and far between.

Really cool! The GC is definitely the most overlooked and underrated system EVER! The intro isn't top notch, but i've seen worse (c'mon the PSX intro gets annoying too) also, it's a fast paced intro, unlike the PS2!

I miss my GC, good thing i can still play the games on my wii!

The PlayStation's startup audio was undeniably epic and the PlayStation 2 was cool. The GameCube's startup is cute if odd.

@Ohsta6t2 Yes, it was epic... But it was SOOOO FRIGGIN' LONG! It got annoying after some time! As for the GC, not as epic, but gets annoying as well... My fave bootup music is the DC! The PS2 just went PSHHHHIIIIIIIIUM and the xbox (the original one, the 360 is epic) was THE most annoying thing of all time!

GC had the most ingenious logo design in console history. a "G" & "C" in a cube shape with an acutal cube in the middle. GENIUS!!

how do you mean exactly? like a still image?

The capturing of this, I did by using the cables that go into the scart connector, and inserted them into my computer, where I simply used windows movie maker to capture it.

It's amazing really. It's a G with a C inside it, and it's a cube with the end of the G a cube in the bigger cube.  Simply 3D mind blowing that Nintendo came up with this.

If you hold down the Z button before this happens then you get the sound of kids laughing. I also heard you can get ninja sounds by using 4 controllers.
