I genuinely agree with a lot of the stuff you're saying- even as an LND fan. But if you don't like it why didnt you just leave it? Seems extremely full on for someone who dislikes it to spend so much time slating is all im saying? Fair enough you haven't posted in a while!

@ysscaffolding I'm a very passionate fan of the original and I feel that the sequel ruins the powerful, emotional ending for me in a non-plausible way, and just felt the need to express it.

@ysscaffolding oh hey, then why do you keep watching my videos? This is from a year and a half ago. If you notice, I haven't made a rant in months. I made a review of it, yes, cause I saw it.

Why? Because I do have a life. Much of it involves Phantom, but I also do plenty of other things. If you don't like my opinion go watch some LND squee video and stop bugging me

I don't like in Europe and don't have the funds, time or desire to see a show that I know is going to be crap, based on reviews from my friends who have seen it and by theater reviews, and also based on the music, which I have listened to. So no, I haven't seen the show, but I am allowed to have an opinion on it.

I heard about the clips on Amazon one day after they got taken off. But I'm actually kinda grateful. I was able to watch a clip here on YouTube of "The Beauty Underneath" before it got removed... O_o It terrified me.

Oh, and the tour! I'm so sad about that too. -.-

That is exactly what I did. I blasted the original for two days to get those godawful clips out of my head.

I understand that people change over time. They generally do not, however, do complete 180's that make NO SENSE AT ALL.

I completely agree with you. ALW should have just left the ending as it was, mystery and all. I suppose the phans who just had to have more Phantom got the better of him though.

After what you said about the songs, I am too scared to go on to Amazon to listen... Hopefully, ALW can pull the performance together and atleast make it visually stunning...

I am also sad to hear about the closing of the Phantom Tour. Hopefully, as you said, it will come back after a few years...

as far as I know, the clips were taken down since they were accidentally released way early, so you don't have to worry about that.

I guess ALW convinced himself everyone wanted a sequel and ignored the fact that many didn't... Oh well, all we can do now is wait and see.

Considering how many comments you have left on this person's videos, belaboring the same point (in a poorly written manner, and no, claiming that English is not your first language does not excuse it, I have friends who are German and have a far better command of grammer than you) , one would assume you don't have anything better to do than argue. I think that you should take your own advice and please inform yourself. The movie is a separate work from the musical. LND is a sequel to the STAGE SHOW, NOT the movie, and as such, your point is irrelevant. It doesn't matter that she died in the movie because that's not what the sequel is based on and they changed plenty in the movie too. Please, check your facts before you try to insult me. It makes you look silly.

I've liked plenty of shows without seeing them, just by listening to the soundtracks. Light in the Piazza, Jekyll & Hyde, Lestat, Dracula, Spamalot, I've never seen them, but i love them because of the music. The music of LND hasn't impressed me, so why waste my money on seeing it
