Gift of the gabs. Problem with Obama is that he is still unable to turn the US economy around. She on the other hand will face her real economic challenge next year when the global economy deteriorates further. China is predicting a gloomy global economy and reduce their growth forecast to 9.2. This strategy to station 250 US marines in Darwin will be seen by the China as provocation but it is most likely left to the next generation of Chinese leaders to handle this.

@phil123711 I can't speak for Obama but she will be gone next election with just about anyone less than 10% clear. A whitewash. What amazes me is the vitriol by labor voters, many of whom WANT their party to take a massive hit to get rid of as many members as possible and force a rethink of how the party is run. I have a feeling Rudd is aiming to be opposition leader after the election with the intent to restructure it. Good for him. Could Labor ever fall behind NP or BKAP? Time will tell.

After the next election Abbott will be PM, Rudd will be opposition leader and Labor will be insignificant.
