fantastic video im super happy someone out there made this and i currently am wiring a 72 with the same reg/rec as you are doing, the nylon screws was a great help. one question though. how did you wire up your ignition??? thats the part im having A LOT of trouble with, it seems every diagram i find is for every other type of ignition other than points, could i get any help from you with this? thanks in advanced.
Yo man, I've watched your wiring vid several times. Well done my friend. I have a 75 xs that i've bobbed. I need to wire it, but i'm scared. Yeah, i said it...i'm scared dammit. I'm a pretty smart dude, but wiring has never been my thing. Any chance you can walk me through it if i sent you a vid of my bike in it's current state. Thanks in advance.
PS. you are right...you can be a normal dude with crappy tools and still build a bike.....just ride.
My congratulations on your video. Edited very well. You are a clear speaker and have quite a talent for the video shown. I actually used your tip on the nylon screws to adapt on XS1100 regulator/rectifier to work on an XS650. There are a few more wires, but after viewing your video, works like a charm. Thanks again.
thanks brian, epic.
