  • I've seen bickering and family quarrels.

    And mysterious trips at night.

And knives, and saws, and ropes.

And now, since last evening, not a sign of the wife.

    How do you explain that?

  • Whats the name of the piano song playing as he spies on Thorwald packing up the knives???

  • ''Many Dreams Ago'' and ''Lisa'' are two of the most beautiful melodies I've ever heard.

Just as beautiful as hard to find, by the way.

  • does anybody have the opening title they could send to me? have been trawling the internet for age AND CANNOT SEEM TO FIND IT

  • :( try to remember, just try!!!!!!!! xD

  • @SmokeyTaboo Sorry for the late reply but I hadn't receive any notice of your reply. Maybe because it was marked as a spam(?).

Anyway I've send you link for the song. I hope this is what you've been looking for ;).

  • @Supuriggan just post it on youtube

  • Phenominal. Really releases the previous era of Jazz and such.

  • @SmokeyTaboo hello smokeytaboo.....do you refer to the composition in rear window that the piano player across from jeffries continually has trouble with, until he meets ms. lonely hearts? that is such a good song, and i have been looking for it too (if so). take care.

  • Such a groovy tune!!! Love the movie!

  • @SmokeyTaboo Yes, "Lisa" is great. I have the track. I can send it to you if you want it.

  • @Supuriggan where do you get all of this music? It's been like... buried in a hole at universal since 1954!!!

  • @simolionshane paramount, sorry not universal

  • @simolionshane It was on a soundtrack with themes from many hitchcock's movies. I can't remember the name of this soundtrack though...

  • @Supuriggan can i have a link or something for lisa by franz waxman?

  • 0:37

  • if i never saw disturbia, i wouldent have seen rear window

  • True Gorgeous! The clarinet solo along the vibraphone has somewhat a Benny goodman and his sextet flair, with unusual notes more of a contemporary composer classics. Do you also have "Lisa"?

  • GORGEOUS!!!!!
